Sehr gutes Hotel mit sehr guter Einrichtung in den Zimmern und dem Bad. Frühstück ist sehr umfangreich. Beim Einparken im Parkhaus (mit Hebevorrichtung für die PKW's) war das Personal behilflich. Die Lage des Hotels ist direkt an der Mauer in der Altstadt.

Das Hatel liegt toll - direkt an der Stadtmauer und nur einen kurzen Spaziergang von der Altstadt entfernt. Das Auto kann in der Garage bleiben ... wenn, ja wenn ein STellplatz frei ist. Der kann leider nicht reserviert werden und bei später Ankuft schaut es eng aus. Einen ordentlichen Fußmarsch entfernt gibt es aber ein öffentliches Parkhaus. Das Hotel selbst ist modern eingerichtet, ein gediegenes Haus - Zielgruppe sind m.E. nach Ü50 Paare. Tolles Frühstück - bei uns im relativ stattlichen Preis enthalten, kleine Bar mit sehr nettem, kommunikativen Barkeeper. Zwei Dinge fand ich nicht so gut: 1. unser (Standard)zimmer war schon arg klein. Rund ums Bett jeweils einen knappen Meter Platz, dazu eine Dachschräge: da muss man sich schon mögen. 2. Allerdings nicht zu sehr mögen, da die Matratzen auf dem Doppelbett allzuleicht auseinanderrutschen. Das nervte wirklich und führt für mich zu einer deutlichen Abwertung des Schlafkomforts. Kuscheln mit dem Partner ging gar nicht, weil einer immer in der 'Ritze' verschwand. Nicht schön. Ansonsten: nettes Hotel mit sehr nettem Service, als Begrüßungsdrink gabs einen Gutschein für Glühwein und Lebkuchen - schöne Idee.

Hotel muy bien ubicado para visitar la ciudad. Tuvimos una habitación muy buena para los 4, con camas cómodas. El desayuno fue muy bueno. El parking, cómodo y a buen precio. Estábamos entre dos plantas y ahí no llegaba el ascensor así que tuvimos que subir alguna escalera con las maletas pero sin problema. Volveremos a quedarnos en este hotel si volvemos a la ciudad.

Gemütliches Hotel direkt in der Altstadt nahe der Burg. Die Lage ist ideal, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuss direkt erreichbar. Dennoch ist es ruhig im Hotel. Sehr freundliches Team, sowohl an der Rezeption, als auch beim Frühstück. Zweckmässiges sauberes Zimmer von amgenehmer Größe. Frühstück mit leckerer Auswahl, alles wird stets frisch aufgefüllt. Schön, dass auch der Konferenzraum als Frühstücksplatz genutzt werden konnte, in den Vorjahren kam es manchmal morgens zu Engpässen bei den Sitzmöglichkeiten. Hotel Garage mit fairem Preis, unsere Mieträder konnten dort kostenfrei ebenfalls sicher übernachten. Wir waren zum wiederholten mal im Dürerhotel und kommen gerne wieder!

Location is best you will find in Nurnberg Alt Stadt! Easy to get there; tram station within a block of the hotel. Accommodations were nice; staff very friendly. Be aware, however, that there is no air conditioning. We were there in mid-Sep 2025, weather in N-berg high 70s (F); cooled off at night but the room was a good bit warmer than planned. Would we stay again? Yes...but with cooler weather available.

Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt um die Altstadt von Nürnberg zu erkunden. Das Personal ist außergewöhnlich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, hat dadurch aber auch den passenden Flair. Die Zimmer sind sauber und das Essen ist sehr gut.

Das Hotel liegt unmittelbar an der Kaiserburg in der Altstadt und obwohl es dort immer turbulent zugeht ist es im Hotel selbst ruhig und gemütlich. Das Personal ist super zuvorkommend, authentisch und sehr freundlich. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und das Frühstück als Buffet mit Bedacht in der Zusammenstellung ausgewählt und mit Liebe angerichtet - es ist wirklich für jeden etwas dabei. Vielen Dank für den erholsamen Aufenthalt und gerne wieder!

We loved this hotel and would stay there again. Room was beautiful, spacious, and clean; I could have relaxed there all day. Friendly and helpful staff and the location couldn’t have been better. Easily accessible parking too.

Room bigger than expected and very clean. Good size shower. Excellent breakfast. Working safe and fridge in room. Ideally situated next to the Dürerhaus and easy to get to airport, 40 minutes by foot and U Bahn.

Für ein Wochenendtrip ein super Hotel. Ich hatte für 2 Nächte ein Einzelzimmer gebucht. Habe dann erfreulicherweise sogar ein Doppelbett bekommen und konnte schon am Vormittag einchecken da das Zimmer bereits sauber war. Das Hotel befindet sich in zentraler Lage und lag trotzdem in einer ruhigen Umgebung. Das Frühstück war lecker und vielfältig. Leider ist der Frühstücksraum relativ klein und somit hatte ich an beiden Tagen Schwierigkeiten einen Platz zu finden. Die Service Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Ab und An wäre eine Begrüßung vom Personal ausgenommen das Servicepersonal wünschenswert gewesen. Im Großen und Ganzen ein schönes Hotel. Wenn ich nochmal in Nürnberg sein sollte, würde ich das Hotel auch ein weiteres Mal buchen.

The hotel was perfect for accommodating our family of 4, with a comfortable bed for each of us. I loved the convenience of a split toilet from the shower both rooms with a sink. The balcony was a great surprise and we were able to enjoy a warm evening after walking the town. The hotel was located near a few bars & cafes that were still active until midnight, then promptly shut down. Location is best you will find in Nurnberg Alt Stadt! Easy to get there; tram station within a block of the hotel. Accommodations were nice; staff very friendly. Be aware, however, that there is no air conditioning. We were there in mid-Sep 2025, weather in N-berg high 70s (F); cooled off at night but the room was a good bit warmer than planned. Would we stay again? Yes...but with cooler weather available.

I booked here because I stayed in 2003 and had very fond memories. It really has not changed much in that time. I did have one of the best views on the top floor last time and this time an obstructed 3rd floor view. Maybe the view last time was so amazing that I forgot any other issues. Where I think things went wrong this time is that the building is showing the age of its current decor and finishes. Additionally, the staff really treated us poorly. We asked if there was any bandages and she did not understand so we tried to show her a picture of a bandaid with our phone and she just started with another customer even though it was our turn in line. Super rude and weird that she just asked us to move aside. Is was just 10 seconds of interaction before that.

This property was amazing! We had a very nice room and the location by the castle was perfect! The hotel is next to the castle walls and about three or four blocks from the castle entrance. For breakfast they served bacon, sausage, eggs, yogurt, fruit, sweet pastries, etc. We were very satisfied. The historic restaurant about one block away served excellent traditional German food. We really enjoyed our stay!

Für ein Wochenendtrip ein super Hotel. Ich hatte für 2 Nächte ein Einzelzimmer gebucht. Habe dann erfreulicherweise sogar ein Doppelbett bekommen und konnte schon am Vormittag einchecken da das Zimmer bereits sauber war. Das Hotel befindet sich in zentraler Lage und lag trotzdem in einer ruhigen Umgebung. Das Frühstück war lecker und vielfältig. Leider ist der Frühstücksraum relativ klein und somit hatte ich an beiden Tagen Schwierigkeiten einen Platz zu finden. Die Service Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Ab und An wäre eine Begrüßung vom Personal ausgenommen das Servicepersonal wünschenswert gewesen. Im Großen und Ganzen ein schönes Hotel. Wenn ich nochmal in Nürnberg sein sollte, würde ich das Hotel auch ein weiteres Mal buchen.

The hotel itself weas great (except no air conditioning, just a fan), staff for the most part were friendly, location is perfect for the upper part of the old town (lots of stores and restaurants and near the castle), the biggest complaint was that the rooms we were provided faced the old world wall, which unfortunately they were working on (right outside our window) and with the heat we had to have the window open. Very loud tools and demolition, lasted til about 5PM and then unfortunately, started before 7AM. I would stay again, in cooler months, but make sure the room we are given does not face the outer wall of the city!

Stayed for a 4 night visit to Nuremberg, with a Saturday day trip to Rothenburg ab den Tauber. Everything was excellent, particularly the staff, the breakfast and the incredible location. However, there was one important downside. in that the adjacent city wall was under maintenance repair and a very loud generator kicked into action every morning at 7:00 am on week days.
