The property itself is good and access to the airport travellers is excellent. The room was comfortable and clean. Our big complaint is the restaurant! They only offered an expensive buffet, but for weary travellers looking for some light menu to purchase from…there is no option and no reasonable restaurants close by. The restaurant gets zero stars…the hotel itself, I will be generous and give it four stars. Would I return again? Possibly, but I would carefully consider other options for a place to stay.

The restaurant is probably the worst I have ever encountered in visiting 52 countries! Highly overpriced and low quality food. Avoid like the plague. Handy for airport! Disappointed shuttle unavailable to collect us from airport. However, room good and reception staff helpful and courteous.

It was hard to give the hotel a two stars because it has the perfect location, front desk and basics. However, the room is very much a room to sleep in and get to your 5am flight from OPO. We have the triple room and you can barely walk in, which again is fine. The room was clean and organized but the most horrible thing is the room we stayed on the ground floor smells like sewage, it smelled so bad that I could not sleep and because my bed was closest to the bathroom, I vomited into the toilet, which was worse because the feces odor was from the toilet - it looks clean and sparkling but it smelled so bad.

Pra uma estadia rápida, o hotel cumpre o que promete, mas faltam alguns detalhes que deixariam a experiência mais confortável. Faltam tomadas no quarto: com exceção do banheiro, só encontramos tomadas USB. O WiFi é bem fraco, não permitindo trabalhar entre uma viagem e outra. Although close to the airport, it takes about 15 minutes to get to the terminal, lugging suitcases over uneven sidewalks. The shuttle was much better, but it was not clear how to access it from the airport. The shuttle back to the airport is 2 euros per person and was convenient. The room was okay, but had no coffeemaker or shampoo. The air conditioner in the room was dripping water onto the floor. We had to turn it off and put towels down to soak up the mess. We reported it to the desk the next morning, but they seemed indifferent. It was pretty clear this was not a new issue. Coffee was 2 euros extra. Dinner buffet was very expensive. Even the soup/salad-only option was 22 euros, but since it was difficult to get to any other restaurant in the area, we ended up paying the cost.

Your entire staff was very helpful and professional, especially Claudia. She helped me with the computer and navigating from French to English, etc. Amazingly, when we returned 10 days later she remembered me while I sat at the computer again. She came over to say hello and asked if i needed help. Very impressive. On a less than positive note: the cleaning staff mops the floor early in the morning during breakfast while there are numerous guests walking on the wet and slippery floor. We witnessed an elderly man slip and fall on his face on the wet floor. Mopping the floor during peak traffic times is very dangerous and unwise that led to an unnecessary fall and possible injury. It is far better to have the staff mop the floor at night when most people guests are in bed and therefore avoid injuries. Dan Graham

I was charged an unexpected city tax upon arrival. Also, I was told the walk to the airport would be 7 minutes but when pre-walked without luggage it was more like 12 minutes on rough sidewalks. When I asked about the hotel shuttle to the airport I was told it was fully booked and only the time available was several hours from when I wanted to leave for the airport. The next morning when I was about to walk to the airport, I requested again about the shuttle and was told there was plenty of room. There are other hotels close to the airport that I will stay at on future visits.

Right across the street from airport. Even though it was a very short walk with luggage , it can be a little complex because the uneven sidewalk.. however they do have a shuttle for two euros, which was very convenient because I had an early flight and it runs 24 hours. the hotel is very compact but clean and comfortable. I did try the buffet lunch and that was good. I did not have breakfast because I had such an early flight. They have lots of vending also for snacks and sodas and water.

Location. Location. Location. Across the street from the Porto airport - 10 minute walk with a rolling suitcase. 5 minute walk from the car rental drop off location. Friendly and courteous reception staff. Smaller sized rooms, but they are clean and have everything that you need. Proximity to the airport gives you that extra hour of sleep before checking for your 6am flight home. Book this hotel.

Absolutely friendly customer focused staff! Two minute walk to the airport terminal and two minute walk to the metro to downtown and parking right out front !!!! I stayed out at the airport rather than downtown so I wouldn't have to find a place to park my car. This hotel was absolutely perfect or stop in a long journey all around Portugal.

Had an overnight stay before beginning a tour. The walk is easy but as one reviewer noted, the sidewalk outside of airport is very narrow so very big bags could be challenging. It's not marked for hotel until you have left airport proper either. Instructions from hotel for walk are fair in helpfulness. Here's what's missing: once you are in middle walkway, go all the way to end. You reach a fork. Left goes to parking. At this point you need to cross over to right and then again. If you don’t cross and take the really nice wide path, it dead ends. Cross over to where you see 'stores' (it looks a bit industrial). Follow that sidewalk. You will see hotel. Follow sidewalk all the way and use crosswalks. Vehicles should stop for you. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Bed was too firm for my taste but not bothersome. Clean room and building. We were there mid week and found very few restaurants open. Easy walk to all of the ones on google maps. Ended up at Fernandos and it was very good. Town has seen better times but felt safe walking around. Would stay again if needed for layover.

O hotel é muito bom, superou minhas expectativas principalmente no atendimento. A equipe de atendimento é muito cordial. O hotel está em muito bom estado de conservação, o quarto e banheiro limpos e arrumados, ar condicionado muito bom, só senti falta do frigobar no quarto, mas os outros itens superam essa ausência, também gostei do café da manhã e o bom é que começa a servir as 4:30 o que facilita para quem for viajar bem cedo e eles também oferecem o transfer para o aeroporto a um custo de €2 por pessoa.

Room was fine but tiny. Shower is the smallest I have ever seen - tricky to maneuver at 0300 when getting to a flight. Food in restaurant was awful - some of it literally inedible. The light buffet had nice options but most of it was overcooked and/or inedible. The Chick pea salad tasted like Chlorox...I am not a difficult eater but this was terrible.
