Hotel is dated but clean. There is no hot tub as shown in pictures, upon entering room we noticed no microwave as advertised, they promptly brought one to our room and the staff was very nice. It’s walkable to main strip and a short walk to trolly stop. Would definitely stay again for the price!

This was a decent hotel for a reasonable price. Everything looked pretty good, clean and kept up well. Bonus** they have a room that they allow pets in. I recommended to them though that they add a microwave to the room.

We had to move rooms after we had unpacked. Apparently if you have dogs you can’t have a king size bed. Dated but clean except the carpet felt yucky. Limited parking. They also had the doggie bags locked up so you couldn’t clean up after your dog.

This is a good place to stay in Deadwood. The location is convenient to downtown. The restaurant is always good. It would be nice if the hot tub was fixed.

It was clean in the room but definitely need new mattresses. The deck on top needs paint the ice machine upstairs didnt work.The jacuzzi didn't work. The room is too expensive for what you get. The area is quiet. Needs work

It is a bit run down. Carpets need to go. Staff if friendly. If you are pulling a trailer there is no parking. It is quite a walk from the city lot to the hotel.

The bathroom was replenished but not cleaned. There was a used towel hanging on the door and poo on the wall of the commode. I cleaned the entire bathroom because I didn’t trust the tub was cleaned either. The property made it right! Without me requesting or complaining about it. That is responsible and a trustworthy business practice!

We arrived for a 2 night stay. When i entered the room one of the beds bedspread was all wrinkled up, like oneone had laid on it after ot was made. There was a long black hair on a pillow and there was a used styrofoam cup on the floor next to a bed. Also, the shower was disgusting. Desperately in need of a Majic Eraser.

Room had a pipe break the day before and brown waste water was still in the carpet. Disgusting! After much disagreement, they finally agreed to refund my money and we moved on. They shared they would have no issues renting the room. Do the right thing, make sure the room is in condition to place someone in the room, don’t assume people are ok with such condition.

Gross. Damp carpet, stinky room (mildew?), AC stunk, too, and bathroom floor was sticky. Cigarette butts all around outside, mostly in the ashtrays but still they were all full & disgusting. I guess u get what u pay for, Deadwood is a tourist town & most places were way more expensive.

Good customer service. The outdoor carpet has holes in it. Fire alarm missing. Bed was very hard. The carpet felt cold and damp. The internet was terrible. When it connected it was very slow. The bathroom looks as it has been remodeled. But there is a loose tile on the floor.

The on site restaurant was really good, service and food. The room was clean, but kind of small. You could smell marijuana in the parking lot just outside our room pretty bad at times. The hot tub is not in service.

Check in went fine, but upon arrival to my room we were really amazed. No microwave, refrigerator on floor, warm room. Laundry room water leaking from washer never mopped after reporting to office. Was very slippery. going back to room, the A/C still not cooling room down. Left room for afew hours, room still not cool. Outside temperature at 99 degree. Room temperature at least 85 of more. Had to use wet towels on bodies to be able to sleep through the night. When checking out was told thank for reporting it. No concern of our most uncomfortable stay. And then charged for ice!! I will never return or recommend this hotel.

Expedia got the reservation right on this one, but we arrived early (11 am) and the lady at the desk without asking my name, told me check-in was at 3, I said nicely sorry we arrived earlier than planned and we were just checking. I was told, the room wasn't cleaned, we could check-in at 3. Ask if I could confirm our reservation. It was there. We drove around to check out the sights, returned at 2:30 pm hot and tired. The nicer lady at the desk checked us in. We got to the room, after her mentioning that it had been vacant the night before. It was fine. Dropped off our pups, and our stuff and turn on the a/c (the room was warm and stuffy) ran to go grab food real quick. Returned about 45 mins later. Room still stuffy. A/C not working, they brought a fan but had no one to call to fix. Changed our room, a/c didn't work either, no screen in window. We tried to sleep fan it fully open window, 2:30 am people walking by, dogs seeing them and barking... very difficult night. Packed up next morning and went down to check out and cancel next night, office not open. Called later to advise we were checking out, to cancel next nights stay and ask for refund on previous night.

I arrived around 8pm to my destination because of roads. I went out for dinner & gambling & returned to my room around 130am. When I returned my toilet would not flush. The office was closed & nobody would answer the phone. This hotel is also a bit off the beaten path for gambling in Deadwood. I walked back probably about 3/4 of a mile in winter. Which isn’t their fault. I just thought it was closer. When I told them in the morning the toilet didn’t work I was told we”ll let maintenance know. Didn’t offer me anything not even a bottle of water. I would never stay here again. It was cheaper then most places, but still $120.

Superior Customer service. Connie was amazing! The rooms were exceptionally clean! Connie walked us over to the Restaurant for an exceptional Prime Rib dinner & my son ordered the Steak Tip Salad and stated it was the best salad he’s ever had. The best perk to this hotel, is the centrally located parking offered. You’re in the heart of the city here. The jade plant in the lobby is breathtakingly beautiful. Such a great vibe about this place.

We were there for Sturgis Bike Rally. This was a convenient motel, if you wish to walk into Deadwood it is a great walk and we caught deer on the way home one evening. We also caught the bus in another night and found this a treat. Not far from Sturgis itself, it was so in the atmosphere of the Rally

This is our third stay at the Deadwood Miners Hotel. The staff were very friendly and very pleasant. The hotel could use a little sprucing up however it’s a decent hotel for a decent price and good proximity to downtown Deadwood. The Deadwood trolley picks you up pretty much out front and takes you downtown and then drops you off when you’re ready. We would stay here again.

The Restaurant was very good. Large portions. Well Priced Opened very early but unfortunately closed at 8.00 pm Heads up most places to eat in deadwood close early. Hard to find food after 9.00 pm.There is a bus service which is less than half a block away (trolley) $2.00 per ride. Takes you right downtown.Staff very friendly & very clean hotel .I would stay there again no problem.
