Very Central (hence name). This hotel is within a minute's walk of the main tourist thoroughfares - even though it is quiet in the room. They have a GREAT pool - 35 meters long, wonderful for swimming. As well as a fitness club. Desk staff are very helpful. Breakfast is filling, tasty, and reasonably priced.

Love how central the hotel is, true to its name. The staff was helpful and polite. Breakfast with food to choose, tasty and fresh. The place has an amazing sauna and steam room, plus the whole area was super clean. Would recommend staying there

Well positioned hotel for exploring the old town part of Sarajevo. Room was a large size in an historic building with a modern, well-designed interior. Very good buffet style breakfast with a range of options. Parking: hotel sent an email explaining where to park nearby (about 75m away, off of the same road) at a price of 15 Euros per day. On departure, parking lot was going to charge 24 Euros per 24 hours; on mentioning hotel, told we needed a card from it showing dates of stay for reduced price. No problem getting this from the hotel even though we'd checked out and then no problem receiving reduced rate. Parking payment in BAM, cash only.

Probably the best location and staff in all of Bosnia. Olympic size swimming pool, huge gym, over 40 English TV channels. Refrigerators in the room, huge rooms with great views. The list just goes on. This was my second stay and I planned an extra night this time because I love this hotel. You walk out the door and your standing in the best shopping/dining area in the country. The staff are very friendly and speak English. Parking is a 1 minute walk. One of my best hotel experiences and I am a seasoned traveller

Hotel Central is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Sarajevo. The location is outstanding—right in the heart of the city and within easy walking distance of major sights, shops, and restaurants. The staff truly make the stay special: everyone was very kind, welcoming, and genuinely service-minded, always ready to help with a smile. The spa area is another big highlight—clean, relaxing, and perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the city. This hotel is bang in the middle of town right next to the bars, amazing location but not for a light sleeper. The beds and basins are all very tall, not for shorter people. The spa had most jets out of order and bo covers on the drains in pool which is dangerous. Also very strange layout. Was a nice stay but probably wouldn't return to this hotel.

Our room was above an incredibly loud bar. The music was thumping and it sounded like we were ataying in a nightclub on the Friday and Saturday night when they turned it up. The gotel description is incorrect. There is no room service, no snack/deli bar, no bar or restaurant. There is a buffet breakfast until 11am, but dont expect to find any hot food left by 10am. Our rooms were quite dirty, especiallythe carpet. There were holes and stains on our sheets, the coffee and tea wasn't replenished for the 5 nights we stayed so we had to keep asking for more. The towels were hard and the cleaners didn't service the room until 5pm. This is the time we would come back to our room after a day of sightseeing and wanted to relax for an hour or so before getting ready to go out for dinner - we had to go and sit in the lobby until they had finished.

Zimmer sauber machen versteht man hier nur Bettwäsche wechseln und Mülleimer ausleeren. Toilette und Dusche wurden innerhalb einer Woche nicht einmal geputzt. In den Ecken findet man Spinnweben, die Fenster kann man nur kippen. Nicht mal Wasser gibt es im Zimmer und auf Anfrage kann man im Hotel keins kaufen. Das einzig gute war die Lage des Hotels.

Staff is perfect. Room furniture is old and not maintained well, tea cups in the room were not clean first day and paper tissue in the toilet was finished. parking is not available. In general it is ok. But not the level of 4 stars as I was expecting.

Great location, very central. Very nice lobby/public spaces with an excellent gym and sauna area, that we unfortunately did not get to use. The service & staff were top notch. We first checked in and were given a very nice room, but discovered that the cleaning crew had somehow missed cleaning the toilet. Gross, but $*!# happens, hah. The receptionist was SO embarrassed and apologetic, and offered us 2 different options of available rooms, so we found another that was also very nice and were happy with the response. Then overnight we got food poisoning, and felt miserable, unable to do anything we'd planned and in my husband's case barely able to stand up straight. I really appreciated that the receptionist & the manager were so helpful and caring, from giving us a late checkout so we could just stay in bed until we had to leave, and getting us some tea and plain rolls to try and eat. They were so supportive that it made all the difference, and I would absolutely stay here again or recommend it. Mistakes sometimes happen in any industry, but in my opinion it's the way things get handled that matters, and this hotel handled everything very well.

This is a wonderful hotel in an excellent location. It is located near the Old Town, shopping, and numerous restaurants. The staff is warm and welcoming, daily room service was efficient, and my room was spotless. Because I was on a working vacation, I chose a suite, and the room had dining and living space, as well as an excellent work area with multiple outlets nearby. It was easy to keep my electronic equipment charged. Sarajevo was a fascinating city and I hope to visit it again. When I do, I would definitely stay at this hotel. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet, but I wish the hot foods were kept hotter.

This hotel is in big need for a refurbishment. But besides how run down it is, that could be understood, the seevice is quite terrible: they failed to put enough towels two out three days, one day they forgot to make the room at all … no big loss, though, because when they did, they did not even stretch the bedsheets… other day, they left a bag of trash inside our room… oh, and the cleaning products on the table. Said that, the reception staff try their best to be friendly and the location of the hotel cannot be better.

The carpet in the hallway had not been vacuum in a long time and had huge stain on it. In the room, there was spit on the mirror, hair in the shower and sink, and mold in the shower. There was only a sheet or very thin blanket. Walls in the room were damaged and literally fixed with tape…

Very avg 1 night stay, bathrooms had mold on floor, room very dark and 1 small window with no view. Lots of construction and renovation going on in hotel so loud and hard to move around. No parking so have to use public garage down street for around $25euro per night. Decent buffet breakfast was only highlight. Would not spend more than 1 night here

Room was quite hot despite the aircon which seemed to only have one temp. Laundry facility unavailable due to a broken machine. Front desk quite friendly. Breakfast ok depending on what time you went as items were not replenished if it was later in the morning.

Room is tiny and not well lit, no windows. Found bug in the bathroom. Bed wasn’t comfortable for me. Breakfast was subpar, eggs were cold, limited options. Comparable to a lower quality continental breakfast.

Hotel was lovely and the pool was a real surprise- kids loved it. Breakfast was great. Location is amazingly central but be aware that if you have one of the front bedrooms they overlook the street full of bars so it was pretty noisy on Friday and Saturday night.

True to its name, Hotel Central is right in the heart of the old town. All the sights, shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable if a little small. Great bed, plenty of tea/coffee and storage space. Ensuite was modern and clean, shower sprays at a bit of an odd angle though which floods the bathroom every time. All in all a solid choice for Sarajevo.

Hotel is fine. Its clean, comfortable and in an excellent location. Unfortunately the male staff member at check in was rude and didnt seem very friendly. A second member of staff advised me to book a private transfer to the airport at a cost of 20€ as I was bound to in his words get ripped off if i decided to hail a taxi from the street (this was not how I found taxi drivers in sarajevo, infact I found them to be honest and helpful) . I did however take his advice on this occasion as I had an early flight the next morning. The next morning the airport transfer didnt arrive and the staff member who was very helpful ordered me a replacement through a local airport. Cost to the airport with a local taxi firm 7€.

Great location, very central. Very nice lobby/public spaces with an excellent gym and sauna area, that we unfortunately did not get to use. The service & staff were top notch. We first checked in and were given a very nice room, but discovered that the cleaning crew had somehow missed cleaning the toilet. Gross, but $*!# happens, hah. The receptionist was SO embarrassed and apologetic, and offered us 2 different options of available rooms, so we found another that was also very nice and were happy with the response. Then overnight we got food poisoning, and felt miserable, unable to do anything we'd planned and in my husband's case barely able to stand up straight. I really appreciated that the receptionist & the manager were so helpful and caring, from giving us a late checkout so we could just stay in bed until we had to leave, and getting us some tea and plain rolls to try and eat. They were so supportive that it made all the difference, and I would absolutely stay here again or recommend it. Mistakes sometimes happen in any industry, but in my opinion it's the way things get handled that matters, and this hotel handled everything very well.

This is a wonderful hotel in an excellent location. It is located near the Old Town, shopping, and numerous restaurants. The staff is warm and welcoming, daily room service was efficient, and my room was spotless. Because I was on a working vacation, I chose a suite, and the room had dining and living space, as well as an excellent work area with multiple outlets nearby. It was easy to keep my electronic equipment charged. Sarajevo was a fascinating city and I hope to visit it again. When I do, I would definitely stay at this hotel. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet, but I wish the hot foods were kept hotter.

Very Central (hence name). This hotel is within a minute's walk of the main tourist thoroughfares - even though it is quiet in the room. They have a GREAT pool - 35 meters long, wonderful for swimming. As well as a fitness club. Desk staff are very helpful. Breakfast is filling, tasty, and reasonably priced.

Staff were welcoming and helpful, room was big and well-appointed, there was a good range of tasty options on the buffet breakfast, the pool was large for a hotel (c25m long) and not too busy, and had sauna, steam room and caldarium, and the location was walkable to all the main sites in the city centre and had a taxi rank outside with cabs readily available most times of day.

Our room was described as a balcony suite. There are no balconies in this hotel. The design was peculiar, to say the least. Staff was pretty unfriendly and the included breakfast has to be one of the saddest in the region. Location is good, though. There are better options around.

Well positioned hotel for exploring the old town part of Sarajevo. Room was a large size in an historic building with a modern, well-designed interior. Very good buffet style breakfast with a range of options. Parking: hotel sent an email explaining where to park nearby (about 75m away, off of the same road) at a price of 15 Euros per day. On departure, parking lot was going to charge 24 Euros per 24 hours; on mentioning hotel, told we needed a card from it showing dates of stay for reduced price. No problem getting this from the hotel even though we'd checked out and then no problem receiving reduced rate. Parking payment in BAM, cash only.

Jag hade ett enkelrum. Bra tyst rum. Det är pubar med disko runt omkring. Rummet var tyst. Läget är väldigt bra i centrum. Hotellets service på plats är väldigt bra. Pool i källaren med bastu och ångbastu. Det var fantastiskt bra. Frukosten var väldigt bra. Bokade taxi med hotellet 20 euro för enkelresa i förväg. Fungerade väldigt bra. Det enda dåliga var att proppen saknades som behövs för att stoppa vattnet när man ska bada. Gick inte att bada. Okej att duscha.

L'hotel sta proprio al centro di tutto, musei, chiese, moschee, ristoranti e negozi, ed è quindi ideale per una vacanza a Sarajevo. La colazione è buona e variegata con cibo locale. Organizzano anche il transfer da e per l'aeroporto.

Great location in the city center with all it has to offer. We had a room facing the quiet of the two streets that the hotel faces. Note that the other street is significantly more busy with night life - probably more noisy. Spacious and nice room and bathroom. Large and well equipped gym and a nice pool area. The breakfast was good, although not amazing. Friendly staff and good service in general.
