Casa Tequiero, an Ethereal SeaView Retreat, By ThinkVilla

This is a beautiful property that is eat-off-the-floor clean and has lovely decor and incredible views. We especially loved the pool, which included floating chairs! The view from the bedroom (and bathtub!) is unreal. Location left some things to be desired—this area is clearly being built up with like-sized villas so I imagine things will change in a few years. The closest beaches are rocky not sandy, and when we asked for beach recommendations ThinkVilla suggested ones that were an hour away. The closest town, Chersonissou seems to be aimed toward young travelers, and doesn’t offer high end restaurants or shopping to match the quality of the house. That said we were able to drive 30-40 mins to access good options. And overall we really enjoyed our stay at this home and the quiet luxury it provided.

Nice peaceful location, lovely villa with spacious feel.

We stayed for a week late May in the villa. We arrived late but the host was there to welcome us, had provided some food and drink and then went to collect us some water as the local shops had closed which was kind and very appreciated. The next morning we were greeted by stunning views and were truly able to explore the villa and its magnificent design and layout. The area around the villa is lovely and quiet and the neighbours are polite and friendly. There are restaurants close by and we used these, especially The Big Blue and Golden Dream but the taxi ride into Hersonnosis was only 10 euro and there was so many great restaurants to choose from there. We had a few queries with Vialli and they were answered quickly and efficiently every time. I would return here and would definitely recommend it for a relaxing holiday destination with a superb villa with a stunning master bedroom which has been lifted from the pages of a dream mansion.
