Excellent hotel but the area seems a bit sketchy, but we didn’t have any problems at all. The hotel is spanking new with large rooms and nice fixtures. The bar on the fifth floor provides a great view of the city and serves great libations, food and atmosphere. Need to take a taxi to get to the Plaza, but it’s worth every penny that you pay for this hidden gem of a hotel.

Etwas abseits vom Zentrum, aber kein Problem. Zu Fuß 15 Minuten ins Zentrum den Berg runter, zurück 1-2$ mit Uber. Personal sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich, günstiger Wäscheservice verfügbar. Zimmer leider etwas hellhörig.

Nous sommes restées une seule nuit dans cet hôtel comme nous reprenions l’avion. Nous avons toutefois trouvé les installations impeccables et le service était excellent. Le transport vers l’aéroport est définitivement un plus. Nous recommandons vivement !

This hotel is great! It is clean and more modern than other hotels in the city. It even has a restaurant on the second floor and a bar on the rooftop. Breakfast is included and tasty. The only downside is that it is kind of far from the historic center. We stayed here on our way back from Machu Picchu, so the distance didn’t bother us as much since we already stayed in Cusco on the way up. It’s worth staying at if you don’t mind being a little further from the main city center or if you’re just passing through!

Area is a bit fat from the historical center of Cusco(around 20 minutes walk downhill) but you need to take taxi or Uber going back if you are not fit to walk back to the hotel. The condition of the hotel was excellent. Clean and inviting. It's a great location of you want quiet and to be away from the busy center. Taxi is readily available and the hotel will call one for you any time. There was a misunderstanding with the free airport shuttle that was promised during messaging with the hotel host initially. But when i got the taxi,, docent people that were at the hotel front desk didn't seem to know about it. It took a ew texts and a phone call between the taxi driver and the hotel front desk to sort it out.

Excellent service. 3-year old facility, looks brand new, squeaky clean. Location is uphill and away from restaurants, shops, central sightseeing, so we relaxed and ate in the hotel restaurant that was surprisingly good; thanks to a previous reviewer who recommended the excellent pumpkin soup. Really nice facility, great value for the money.

The property was clean Easy access by uber Great view of the city from our bedroom Breakfast cook was so nice and accomodating. She even made us breakfast to go as our tour was leaving really early before breakfast is served. Overall, all staff was great

The good thing is that they provide free airport pick-up or drop-off. The first night we were happy to be welcomed by a young lady who was helpful. The booked triple room is OK. Upon arrival, the ceiling light in the bathroom did not work and the bathroom floor was not draining well. There was hair and dust on the floor and below the beds. When we left, the staff forgot to prepare a grab-to-go breakfast bag though they promised to let us have it for early departure.

Our stay was wonderful! The rooms were clean and pristine! John at the front was full of great info, friendly and really made our stay personable! Our room with a veranda gave us great fresh air and a beautiful, beautiful view of the mountains and the archaeological site! The upstairs terrace was incredible! It is really a beautiful and clean hotel! Breakfast is good but there is rarely anything left at 9 am even though it is until 10 am! You have to ask and wait for fresh stuff or just have cereal. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Horrible experiencia! No se lo recomiendo a nadie. La habitación olía a excremento, había hormigas en el baño, la ducha no funcionaba y no había agua caliente. Las paredes son tan delgadas que se escucha todo de otras habitaciones. El desayuno fue pésimo y mal presentado. La atención fue nula, y Lidia Wilca, la gerente, nunca apareció ni se disculpó. No hay higiene, no hay servicio, no hay respeto. Eviten este lugar. Cusco tiene muchas mejores opciones.

It was a beautifully presented and clean hotel with spacious rooms. We had a small balcony which had great views of cusco city. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was good and the dinners were superb! The only thing to know is that it is quite a way from the city centre. Its walkable, but if youre not acclimatised to altitude, it would be tough as getting back to the hotel is all uphill! However, taxis are super cheap, quick and easy especially if you use uber. We loved our stay and would come back again!

I liked that everyone was friendly, the hotel was clean, and it felt safe to sleep there. The only issue was that the walls atlre a lottle thin and when there are loys of people you can hear everyone. Other than that the food was great, the drinks were great, customer service was awesome. Great place to stay.

The property inside is very nice, the rooms are spacious and the bed was comfortable. The hot water for the bath/shower was warm at best. The surrounding area is not the nicest part of Cusco and it is a little far away from the historic old town.

There’re some pros and cons about Ayni Cusco Hotel. Pros: The receptionists are very service oriented, particularly Jhon, who helped our family to find a late night emergency clinic when my son accidentally ingested a chocolate with peanut. He also helped us to find an available alternative taxi when the one we ordered didn’t arrive in time. Cons: the property is new, but with extremely poor sound proof, we could hear every move from the room above our room. The bathroom is new but with no hooks nor rack to hang towels or toiletry bag. The kitchen staff was not properly trained for customer services. The food in the breakfast was nearly gone when we went to the restaurant at 8:30 and we requested some fried eggs in Spanish. The lady reluctantly made some eggs for us after 15 minutes wait and didn’t replenish the food, considering the breakfast closed at 11am. This property located in the upper outskirts of Cusco in a slightly poorer neighborhood and it took about 10-15 mins to walk to the Plaza Mayor. My family and I didn’t mind walking down in daytime and evening, but at night the walk didn’t seem like a good idea.

Upon check in, the woman at the front desk, Catherine,was exceptional! She was so nice and very friendly and told us all the information about the hotel. She also let us know that the hotel supplied coca leaves to make tea with to help with altitude sickness. She also gave us a map of the city, and spoke very good English. When we got to our room there was a small gift basket with some chocolates, coca candies, and bottled water. The room itself was very nice and the shower is amazing. During our stay we had an issue with our toilet and they sent somone right up to fix it. All the staff is very nice, including restaurant staff. Would definitely book again next time I'm in Cusco!

Our stay was wonderful! The rooms were clean and pristine! John at the front was full of great info, friendly and really made our stay personable! Our room with a veranda gave us great fresh air and a beautiful, beautiful view of the mountains and the archaeological site! The upstairs terrace was incredible! It is really a beautiful and clean hotel! Breakfast is good but there is rarely anything left at 9 am even though it is until 10 am! You have to ask and wait for fresh stuff or just have cereal. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

At arrival we met John, who is a true asset to the Ayni team!!! Coca tea was made while our paperwork was completed, then we had a carafe of hot water, bottled water and chocolates were sent to our room. Room clean and comfortable, everything is new. Breakfast first day was made to order, second was buffet. The only drawback for us was that it was father from the city centre and needed a taxi to meet with friends.

The condition of the hotel was excellent. Clean and inviting. It's a great location of you want quiet and to be away from the busy center. Taxi is readily available and the hotel will call one for you any time. There was a misunderstanding with the free airport shuttle that was promised during messaging with the hotel host initially. But when i got the taxi,, docent people that were at the hotel front desk didn't seem to know about it. It took a ew texts and a phone call between the taxi driver and the hotel front desk to sort it out.

Very nice hotel, friendly staff and they were always welcoming, they helped us with everything, we fall sick there due to altitude and the staff helped us recover, we had a rental car and they helped us park the car in garage and remove whenever we needed. The kichen staff was also very good, specially Rossy who always made sure we got the best food

Excellent hotel but the area seems a bit sketchy, but we didn’t have any problems at all. The hotel is spanking new with large rooms and nice fixtures. The bar on the fifth floor provides a great view of the city and serves great libations, food and atmosphere. Need to take a taxi to get to the Plaza, but it’s worth every penny that you pay for this hidden gem of a hotel.

It was a beautifully presented and clean hotel with spacious rooms. We had a small balcony which had great views of cusco city. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was good and the dinners were superb! The only thing to know is that it is quite a way from the city centre. Its walkable, but if youre not acclimatised to altitude, it would be tough as getting back to the hotel is all uphill! However, taxis are super cheap, quick and easy especially if you use uber. We loved our stay and would come back again!

We stayed at Ayni Cusco for a week. It is a bit farther along from the main square so be prepared to uber and/or taxi a lot. We had some of our uber drivers cancel rides as they didn’t want to make the ride out to this hotel. The views from the room are great and the staff is amazing! However, our bathroom had a strong stench of sewer and stagnant water. We mentioned this to the staff twice and not much was done to resolve this issue. Towards the end of my stay I started dreading going to the bathroom. I had to buy some incense and spray to mask the smell. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast included was good as well. Overall would stay here again if they can resolve ventilation issues and issues in the bathroom with the drain pipes.

Loved the view, and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Room beautiful. It's up the hill from town but there's a bus for 1 sole each which is well worth getting familiar with. Use the app Moovit, has all the bus schedules.

The good: New, attractive, surgically clean accommodations. More secluded, quiet location. Great view of town from the rooftop bar. Staff couldn't be more friendly and pretty good English. The not as good: About a mile and a half walk to the plaza (walk back is uphill) no sound deadening in the building, beds are kind of comfortable, Window above the entry door lets light in as long as the hall light is on.

The property inside is very nice, the rooms are spacious and the bed was comfortable. The hot water for the bath/shower was warm at best. The surrounding area is not the nicest part of Cusco and it is a little far away from the historic old town.

We regretted staying at Ayni Cusco because it was far from downtown historic center. We had to pay for a taxi every time we will go there. It was nothing to do at Ayni. the hotel look empty. The bar area look abandoned . People were nice though.

I loved the restaurant and free breakfast; dinner was delicious. Front staff were very helpful. The hotel has beautiful views of the city below. Only downside: noises carry throughout the rooms (barking dogs outside, doors slamming, etc).

There’re some pros and cons about Ayni Cusco Hotel. Pros: The receptionists are very service oriented, particularly Jhon, who helped our family to find a late night emergency clinic when my son accidentally ingested a chocolate with peanut. He also helped us to find an available alternative taxi when the one we ordered didn’t arrive in time. Cons: the property is new, but with extremely poor sound proof, we could hear every move from the room above our room. The bathroom is new but with no hooks nor rack to hang towels or toiletry bag. The kitchen staff was not properly trained for customer services. The food in the breakfast was nearly gone when we went to the restaurant at 8:30 and we requested some fried eggs in Spanish. The lady reluctantly made some eggs for us after 15 minutes wait and didn’t replenish the food, considering the breakfast closed at 11am. This property located in the upper outskirts of Cusco in a slightly poorer neighborhood and it took about 10-15 mins to walk to the Plaza Mayor. My family and I didn’t mind walking down in daytime and evening, but at night the walk didn’t seem like a good idea.
