The breakfast lacked American variety, the bacon was raw and unappealing. The massage was average. There are two Empress hotels directly next to each other. At least half of the taxis and tours we went on went to the wrong one. There were very few restaurants near the hotels. The mixed drinks at the main bar were not very good and the selection of alcohol was very limited. The martinis were in the smallest martini glass I've ever seen. They give you a huge bag of goodies when you arrive.

Upon entering this beautiful hotel, you are greeted by all staff. They took care of the bags and met me at the room. They supplied me with two full bags of welcome snacks and drinks. That is not a typo, 2 FULL bags of snacks. It was amazing. Such a great surprise. This was the best hotel I've stayed at in Chiang Mai, and I've been to this city many times. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. You must check out the pool during your stay. The hotel is walking distance to the night bazaar, 7/11, and many other convenient things to check out. I loved this place and everyone made my vacation much more enjoyable. I'll be back. Awesome job Empress Premier!

Location: 10 minute taxi ride from airport. No disturbance from flights at hotel. Hotel taxi from/to airport very efficient - 300 baht each way (per journey, not per person). No great views from hotel but think most hotels in Chiang Mai will be similar. Hotel well located. Getting around: Grab (Uber equivalent) excellent and dirt cheap. Hotel: Staff at very helpful, efficient and friendly. Food in Brasserie very good at breakfast - usual selection of food with Thai specialities too. Food and cocktails in Elephant Club very good and very reasonably priced. Pool area lovely. Very quiet. No problem getting loungers. Poolside food and drinks very good. No smoking allowed which was great! Bedroom very spacious, spotlessly clean. Beds very firm but that wasn't a problem - slept like a baby! Loved the idea of the wardrobe having doors on both sides so it could be accessed from the bathroom as well as the bedroom - genius!! Was given a massive bag of food and drink on arrival which was much appreciated and very handy when we needed an early breakfast on the day we had a full day excursion planned and had to leave hotel at the crack of dawn. Fridge in room well stocked. Room serviced daily. Spa was lovely - had a coconut salt scrub which lasted an hour and only cost 1800 baht. Very quiet hotel, no noise disturbance at night.

The overall experience was very good, but a few things related to the age of the hotel were a bit annoying, like the power points that were not on the same standard (some would accept my power connectors and others wouldn't). The breakfast and the gym were absolutely amazing! The area around is very good with many options for shopping, and there are some markets around with good options for shopping and eating.

Beautiful hotel with elegant finishes. The rooms are huge and comfortable. Our entire family was impressed with the facilities. The pool and gym on the 5 th floor are delightful. I would absolutely recommend this hotel!

Overall, it was ok. It's not a 5-star hotel, it's more like a good 3-star property. The room was large, very clean, well cared for, and had a nice bathroom and comfortable bed. The dining options were very, very limited and mediocre at best. Room service ends at 9pm rather than being 24 hours as advised. The staff is nice but could be trained better to be more helpful. There is a feee parking garage which was nice. The location is outside of Old Town; it's about an 8 minute tuk-tuk ride to old town. It was easy to get a Grab (uber) and/or tuk-tuk but there wasn't much within walking distance. Would I stay again? Yes, as the room was very comfortable but don't expect much else.

The Empress Premier is a very well outfitted, modern facility with a great pool and gym facility. The staff was exceptional. The only downside was that Google kept misdirecting drivers to the wrong pickup location.

Room cleanliness is a bit sloppy. Stains on bed headboard, sofa need vacuuming and surfaces here and there need dusting. Breakfast has lots of options but quality isn’t the best. Still they deserve credit for overall feelgood I think reception and bellboys really do their best

Hotel is pretty amazing with nice swimming pool and excellent facilities. Breakfast has lots of choice and we were upgraded at check in to a huge suite. Only comment would be that the bed matress is very hard and could do with a matress topper but nevertheless I would still give 10 out of 10

部屋の全ての電気スイッチと クーラー(空調設備)のコントロールが 壁に取り付けられておらず(シングルベッド2台の宿泊)片方のベッドサイドに置いてあるタブレットで操作でした。夜中に温度調節する場合 操作音が 大きくピッと鳴りますので もうもう1人が寝ている場合 とても不都合でした。また、画面が明るいですので、引き出しの中に画面を下向きにしまう必要がありました。電気もいちいち タブレットで操作は めんどくさいです。(お風呂場 トイレは 普通の壁のスイッチでした) その他は、とても良かったです。部屋はとても広く お風呂場もとても広く快適でした。部屋の中に美しいシャンデリアもありました。エントランスも美しかったです。スタッフもフレンドリーでとても親切でした。食事も美味しかったです。

Bei Check-in bekamen wir einen Upgrade. Wir bekamen eine Executive-Suite. Sehr schönes und grosses Zimmer. Im Zimmer hatte es noch eine Tasche mit Leckereien und Getränke. Wirklich toll. Das Zimmer war im 14 Stock und daher auch sehr ruhig. Hatte ein Wohnzimmer mit grossem TV und ein Schlafzimmer, ebenfalls mit grossem TV. Alles sehr sauber und modern. Ich fand das Bett eher hart, aber das ist Geschmacksache. Frühstück war reichhaltig und es gab für jeden Geschmack etwas. Hatte sogar verschiedenes Brot und nicht nur Toast. Kann das Hotel nur empfehlen.

Es ist eigentlich ein wirklich schönes Hotel. Service und Freundlichkeit des Personals ist super. Preis ist auch sehr gut. Leider waren die Matratzen extrem Hart. Nach 4 Nächte, tun uns alles Schmerzen. Noch nie in meinem Leben so extrem harte Matratzen gehabt. Die Klimaanlage hat auch gesponnen. Man konnte nicht richtig regulieren. Hotel nur für Menschen die wie auf einem Brett liegen möchten geeignet.

The hotel is beautiful. Clean and lovely, the staff are very very attentive, first class. The only downside is the beds are extremely hard , which for Americans , not use to. In talking to others I understand that it is pretty standard but would be helpful if they had the option for a bed topper to be available to soften it up a bit. But otherwise fantastic!

We stayed in a total of 5 hotels during this vacation trip and Empress provided one of the top service. As a Platinum Hotels.com member, I received a room upgrade with a HUGE complimentary bag of snacks and drinks plus the fridge also had complimentary drinks. The room we received was HUGE!! It was like an apartment in a hotel. There is a 6 person dining table, fridge, living room sectional with TV and desk. The bedroom had a king sized bed with a sitting area also. Great upgrade and customer service. Breakfast is always a HIT in Asia. Huge variety of choices and very good. Hotel is kind of situated in the back of the busy street, which is nice. Night market is a good 20-30 min walk. Very safe because the streets are always busy. Suggestion: to include utensils in the room. There are cups but no utensils especially with a 6-person dining table. Would I stay here again? ABSOLUTELY!! In a heartbeat!!

Was given a bag full of junk food at check in. Perhaps this was to make up for the lack of dining options. Reception staff did not acknowledge me when I came in or out of hotel. Taxi to the airport provided by the hotel was double the going rate.

Location: 10 minute taxi ride from airport. No disturbance from flights at hotel. Hotel taxi from/to airport very efficient - 300 baht each way (per journey, not per person). No great views from hotel but think most hotels in Chiang Mai will be similar. Hotel well located. Getting around: Grab (Uber equivalent) excellent and dirt cheap. Hotel: Staff at very helpful, efficient and friendly. Food in Brasserie very good at breakfast - usual selection of food with Thai specialities too. Food and cocktails in Elephant Club very good and very reasonably priced. Pool area lovely. Very quiet. No problem getting loungers. Poolside food and drinks very good. No smoking allowed which was great! Bedroom very spacious, spotlessly clean. Beds very firm but that wasn't a problem - slept like a baby! Loved the idea of the wardrobe having doors on both sides so it could be accessed from the bathroom as well as the bedroom - genius!! What an excellent place to stay. The hotel is lovely and looks new. But the staff are amazing. Received a huge welcome bag and a farewell gift. Moon in the Buffett is superb. See you all on my next trip back.

Upon entering this beautiful hotel, you are greeted by all staff. They took care of the bags and met me at the room. They supplied me with two full bags of welcome snacks and drinks. That is not a typo, 2 FULL bags of snacks. It was amazing. Such a great surprise. This was the best hotel I've stayed at in Chiang Mai, and I've been to this city many times. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. You must check out the pool during your stay. The hotel is walking distance to the night bazaar, 7/11, and many other convenient things to check out. I loved this place and everyone made my vacation much more enjoyable. I'll be back. Awesome job Empress Premier!

Nice property a short walk away from the night markets. Good to be a little further away from the noise and bustle but still very much walkable. Luxury on-site Spa was lovely. Great room and fantastic service. The buffet breakfast was delicious.

Location: 10 minute taxi ride from airport. No disturbance from flights at hotel. Hotel taxi from/to airport very efficient - 300 baht each way (per journey, not per person). Overall, it was ok. It's not a 5-star hotel, it's more like a good 3-star property. The room was large, very clean, well cared for, and had a nice bathroom and comfortable bed. The dining options were very, very limited and mediocre at best. Room service ends at 9pm rather than being 24 hours as advised. The staff is nice but could be trained better to be more helpful. There is a feee parking garage which was nice. The location is outside of Old Town; it's about an 8 minute tuk-tuk ride to old town. It was easy to get a Grab (uber) and/or tuk-tuk but there wasn't much within walking distance. Would I stay again? Yes, as the room was very comfortable but don't expect much else.

바로 옆 엠프레스 호텔옆에 가려져 있어서 대부분 택시 기사들도 잘 못찾아 오는게 함정이네요! 하지만 직원들이 엄청 친절하고 방도 꽤 넓은 객실로 배정해주는 등 각별한 노력이 돋보이는 호텔입니다. 조식은 그럭저럭 먹을만한 수준입니다만, 5성급에 어울릴만한 수준은 아니네요. 전체적으로 깨끗하고 조용한 숙박을 원하시는 분들하겐 추천 드립니다.

The Empress Premier is a very well outfitted, modern facility with a great pool and gym facility. The staff was exceptional. The only downside was that Google kept misdirecting drivers to the wrong pickup location.

The breakfast lacked American variety, the bacon was raw and unappealing. The massage was average. There are two Empress hotels directly next to each other. At least half of the taxis and tours we went on went to the wrong one. There were very few restaurants near the hotels. The mixed drinks at the main bar were not very good and the selection of alcohol was very limited. The martinis were in the smallest martini glass I've ever seen. They give you a huge bag of goodies when you arrive.

En premier la chambre, spacieuse verte et jolie, mais trop de défauts, la lunette des toilettes qui ne tient pas en place, les lampes de chevet sont tordues, le matelas un peu trop dur. Deuxièmement le petit déjeuner, de mauvaise qualité, le même choix tous les jours, les viennoiseries molles, les croissants rassis et immangeable, les fruits trop vert n’ont aucun goût. Et les produits ne sont de bonne qualité. Le hall est très beau mais sombre, les grands lustres baroques toujours éteints. La piscine est gelée, il n’y a d’ailleurs jamais personne. L’hôtel paraît désert . L’emplacement à environ 900 mètres à pied environ une vingtaine de minutes. Un bon 4 étoiles mais pas un 5.

The overall experience was very good, but a few things related to the age of the hotel were a bit annoying, like the power points that were not on the same standard (some would accept my power connectors and others wouldn't). The breakfast and the gym were absolutely amazing! The area around is very good with many options for shopping, and there are some markets around with good options for shopping and eating.
