As international travellers we stayed here for one night enroute to Melbourne. We asked and were given a quiet area as the the Hotel/Motel does have a casino, which can be noisy as people leave. The room itself as basic but comfortable.

Almost like a resort. Bought a ticket to see a band, stayed at the hotel and had dinner. Nothing better than leaving a gig, walking around the corner & being back in your room for a nightcap. Very comfortable rooms. Bathrooms are small but good for the price.

If you stay on a weekend don’t plan on sleeping until after midnight. It does come with a disclaimer saying there will be noise but boy is it loud! Otherwise it’s simple and clean, except our bathroom sink that was completely blocked.

Great convenient spot. Just 500 meters from the beach and coastal trails. Quite peaceful considering it’s attached to a hotel/bistro and has a really nice outside area from your room and private to your room.

I came away from this place feeling like it wasn't worth what we paid. Yes - it was clean, but everything was old and hadn't been updated in years. The beds were old and the mattresses were worn out. We had to check in by walking through the pokies room which is miserable. I think the thing that bothered me the most was the smell in the room. They'd used so much deodoriser that that was all you could smell and it was overpowering and gave me a low grade headache all night. We were only there one night, but I couldn't wait to move on from there to get away from that smell. When I return to Torquay, I'll definitely be looking for someplace else to stay.

The property is in a great location and we have stayed mid week in room 7 and been very comfortable. However, I would not recommend it on a Saturday night. They did tell us beforehand that there would be loud music. We were ok with that, it finished at midnight. Our problem was with the neighbours who came back with several friends after the music ended and partied inside and out until about 1 am. Also, the mattress on the single bed in unit 2 really needs replacing. I could feel the springs in it. The double mattress was apparently very comfortable.

Room and small outside area good, but room next door were outside talking all night well after 11 pm which kept us awake. Maybe some guidelines in the room about noise is needed after 10 pm like other motels.

It was clean,had everything we needed the people were lovely however the mattress was horrible. My guess would be that they are old and need to be replaced. Partner and i slept separately because of this we both got minimal sleep and felt the springs
