Breakfast and sauna/spa were marvelous! So helpful and supportive. Quiet, clean, and comfortable, rich with history and culture. Some members of the staff were very kind, caring, and supportive. Others were not as warm. I greatly appreciated being given an entry ticket to the spectacular Salzach River Chasm, which was literally outside the door!! My only complaint is that someone was smoking outside of my window for many hours, all evening. I had to keep my window closed until late into the night, and the room still smelled like stale smoke. I am very allergic to cigarette smoke, so this was very unpleasant and kept me from sleeping and from enjoying my room. Shower had perfect water pressure and temperature. It would be nice to equip the rooms with a hot water pot and tea mugs. Otherwise, a lovely stay in a spectacular setting! Thank you so much!

Great place!! We would love to stay during ski season someday. Only thing was access to the spa. It’s upon request and only open from 1400-1900. So if it’s a quick night for you don’t plan on using the sauna and other amenities.

Perfect hotel for me. We had a room with balcony with chairs and a table and an amazing view of the valley. The room was basic but we were out most of the time so we didn’t mind. Despite being located above a road, it was very quiet and dark at night. Beds, as well as the sofabed were comfy. All staff was lovely. Breakfast looked very good though we haven’t tried it, only had some coffee (a nice one) and some cakes bits on the house during the day. Hotel is picturesque and clean. I rated cleanliness 4 only due to mouldy seals in the bathroom. The room could do with decorating and a tiny fridge for essentials as there is no restaurant. Though if you have a car or don’t mind walking, the village of Golling is definitely worth a visit; it’s a stunning place with a lovely atmosphere and plenty of restaurants. I found this property last-minute and was extremely pleased with it! It is tucked away into the mountains and had beautiful views. I also had not realized it had a sauna and relaxation room before I booked my stay, so that was a pleasant surprise!

Trevligt hotell med häftigt läge vid Pass Lueg. Tyvärr saknas hiss. Lite tufft att bära resväskor två trappor upp. Terrass med fin utsilkt. Vid utcheckningen ville hotellägarinnan ha betalt för rummet, trots att vi redan hade förbetalat via Hotels. När vi påpekade det ändrade hon räkningen. Vi reser mycket men har aldrig tidigare varit med om att ett hotell har gjort en sådan miss. Vi tror inte att hon försökte lura oss men hon verkade helt oberörd av missen och bad inte om ursäkt. Annars var hon väldigt vänlig.

Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great. View from the hotel was breathtaking. Right next to a walking trail by the river. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Will go back if we’re in the area.

I truly enjoyed the beauty of the property. The only difficulty we had was that it was so warm that we had to open the windows and in doing so, we invited bugs in. Other than that, it was perfect!

Jeg kan begynne med å si at,rommet vi hadde var ganske ny oppusset. Så ikke noe å si på rommet.Det var rent og fint. Men det er mye innsyn fra terrassen som ligger vegg i vegg og ikke gardiner på rommet.Dette var det som førte til at vi aldri vil tilbake dit. Vedkommende som sjekket oss inn var imøtekommende og høflig.Men når vi klaget på disse små tingene.Ga vedkommende i resepsjonen beskjed til eiger av hotellet. Uhøflig,lite imøtekommende og ufine.Vil vel si så mye at vi opplevde det som verbalt svært ufine. Vi hadde med oss en katt,dette informererte jeg om når jeg bestilte hotellet.Men dette ble ikke lest av hotellet. Derfor oppstår hele situasjonen,vi var ute en tur og hengte lapp på døra ikke gå inn.Fikk senere høre av eiger at dem hadde vært inne på rommet og gjort rent !!!! Ingenting var gjort ikke rene handuker og ikke toalettet papir!!! Vi fikk beskjed om at vi ikke hadde lov til å ha katt inne på dette rommet m.m !!! Men hvem tildelte rommet ? Jo, hotellet... Her ble sjef og nær av sjef ufin mot oss. Hotellet ligger også ved en vei.. tunnel ligger rett under hotellet. Så visst du søker Alpene sin stillhet er dette feil hotel i mine øyne. Lå her 3 netter å skal aldri tilbake. Det som er det mest spesielle av alt er at det er katter utenfor som går inn å ut av hotellet.

Frühstück und Service sehr gut. Der Aufenthalt insgesamt gut. Heizung hat nicht funktioniert. Wenn man bei Regen und 6 Grad ankommt, wäre es schon schön ein warmes Zimmer zu haben. Wir verstehen schon, dass Energie eingespart werden muss.

Great little family friendly place! Beautiful location. Yummy breakfast. Nice balcony. No AC but it cooled down at bed time with the windows opened. Waking up to the beautiful view was wonderful!!! We went to the Golling Fallls and they were wonderful.

The hotel was generally quite nice but the check in was very poor and although they had emailed me earlier that day to ask if I wanted to book a table for dinner which I asked them to do at 08:00pm, almost the first thing I was told that there were no tables available at that time but there might be one available outside later on. On the earlier email I was told that one of the reasons to book was that thunderstorms were predicted for that evening and that was why I booked a table. Also when she said that there were no tables available, in the room next to the bar several, people were having meals and there were at least 6 free tables in there. A pretty bad evening indeed

Great stay here. Can't wait to go back. The hostess was so nice. Wish we had stayed more nights here. It was really quiet when we were here. Beautiful and tranquil. Not too far from Salzburg and the beautiful Hallstatt.

Breakfast and sauna/spa were marvelous! So helpful and supportive. Quiet, clean, and comfortable, rich with history and culture. Some members of the staff were very kind, caring, and supportive. Others were not as warm. I greatly appreciated being given an entry ticket to the spectacular Salzach River Chasm, which was literally outside the door!! My only complaint is that someone was smoking outside of my window for many hours, all evening. I had to keep my window closed until late into the night, and the room still smelled like stale smoke. I am very allergic to cigarette smoke, so this was very unpleasant and kept me from sleeping and from enjoying my room. Shower had perfect water pressure and temperature. It would be nice to equip the rooms with a hot water pot and tea mugs. Otherwise, a lovely stay in a spectacular setting! Thank you so much!

Jeg kan begynne med å si at,rommet vi hadde var ganske ny oppusset. Så ikke noe å si på rommet.Det var rent og fint. Men det er mye innsyn fra terrassen som ligger vegg i vegg og ikke gardiner på rommet.Dette var det som førte til at vi aldri vil tilbake dit. Vedkommende som sjekket oss inn var imøtekommende og høflig.Men når vi klaget på disse små tingene.Ga vedkommende i resepsjonen beskjed til eiger av hotellet. Uhøflig,lite imøtekommende og ufine.Vil vel si så mye at vi opplevde det som verbalt svært ufine. Trevligt hotell med häftigt läge vid Pass Lueg. Tyvärr saknas hiss. Lite tufft att bära resväskor två trappor upp. Terrass med fin utsilkt. Just needed one night near Salzburg. We stumbled on this place but was pleasantly surprised. They had a great breakfast, staff was great, and was in a beautiful area (Near a scenic gorge). The place is a little secluded but as said, you can grab breakfast (included), and has a dinner menu if you do not want to venture back into town. However, other services are nearby if so desired. A beautiful area and accommodations were kept up very well. You can tell owners took great pride in their BnB. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend this BnB.

Vi havde et godt ophold på en hel uge. Vi nød udsigten og den simple, men gode morgenmadsbuffet. Fra hotellettet var der ikke lang tid i bil til mange popolære seværdigheder, dog vil vi mene at bil er en nødvendighed, da man ikke kunne gå til mange ting derfra. Hotellet er beliggende perfekt i forhold til motorvejen, og vil være perfekt som stop på en længere rejse.

Perfect hotel for me. We had a room with balcony with chairs and a table and an amazing view of the valley. The room was basic but we were out most of the time so we didn’t mind. Despite being located above a road, it was very quiet and dark at night. Beds, as well as the sofabed were comfy. All staff was lovely. Breakfast looked very good though we haven’t tried it, only had some coffee (a nice one) and some cakes bits on the house during the day. Hotel is picturesque and clean. I rated cleanliness 4 only due to mouldy seals in the bathroom. The room could do with decorating and a tiny fridge for essentials as there is no restaurant. Though if you have a car or don’t mind walking, the village of Golling is definitely worth a visit; it’s a stunning place with a lovely atmosphere and plenty of restaurants. The gorge which is literally behind the hotel is also worth a visit. We visited it in the evening and had the place to ourselves. There is plenty of parking available, for free.

The views are beautiful. Hiking and sightseeing options are plentiful. The only downside was No fan in the bathroom and since we were visiting in the off season, restaurant options were limited. Bring euros.

Hotel Pass Leug was a beautiful spot in the mountains with short 30minute drive into Salzburg. We got the best of both worlds while staying at this hotel! The staff was very attentive and the property was well kept with incredible views!
