Isetta Inn (Boutique Inn)

We really enjoyed our stay here. The cheap bike rental and private porch were highlights. The shared fridge didn’t work very well, had rotten milk in it, & the ice machine was broken but overall I would stay here again due to the value. Nice area, food walkable, & walkable to downtown (abt 2 mi).

A lovingly restored victorian house with interesting, somewhat funky decor. More of a hostel than a hotel, with shared, common facilities. Some rooms have private baths, some shared/common. Snacks & breakfast items available for purchase at modest prices. Walkable to Forsyth Park, shuttles available to waterfront. Parking is STREET PARKING, and while free, can be competitive. Owner was here and is very friendly, helpful, but the Inn is set up to run remotely. Busy streets and some road noise, walkable to some good restaurant options. Enjoyable stay overall, more AirBnB in nature.

The Isetta Inn has a wonderful, whimsical vibe! I LOVE the care that has been taken in representing the individual “theme” of each room (as shown in the many photos on the website) and the way that the Isetta car is shown around the house (got to see a 1934 Isetta in person at the small BMW showroom museum at the plant in Spartanburg, SC, in April, so this stay at The Isetta Inn in Savannah, was destined to happen. It’s fun to take in all the interesting decor at the Inn. It’s well-maintained and inviting! Communication with the property owners was relatively easy, particular via text. Everything was explained very well and the YouTube video for the lay of the land, as well as the guide book in the room were extremely helpful! I only used “the honor system” cash box for purchasing a couple of postcards and stickers, but I appreciate that there were some drinks and food items were available at very fair prices. I didn’t rent a bike, but that’s a cool feature, too. The location of the INN was great for my three-night stay and I met some very friendly fellow boarders while I was there. The construction in the area wasn’t taken into account when I first used GPS to find the location, but I figured it out eventually. The streets were a bit noisy, especially early one morning (about 4:30 am) when a few emergency vehicles zoomed past, sirens blaring, but that’s nothing against the Inn, just a busy thoroughfare, I reckon. All-in-all, my stay at The Isetta Inn was a memorable one!

Good for the price, we stayed at the honeymoon suite and the hanging bed was cool. The inn is right next to the bus stop so we just parked in the back and took the free trolley to downtown and back. Parking can be a little tight in the suggested spots but overall doable.

Hedwigs Perch and overall Inn was decorated really nice and looked really cool. Parking was a struggle but other than that it was an excellent stay!

I loved this place!!! I’m a sucker old houses and this not only is an old house, but it feels like home. The area was well lit and very manicured, getting to the room was easy, all the codes worked on the first try.. the inn keeper was quick to respond when I texted. The snack pantry was my favorite! All the snacks & drinks were reasonably priced. My husband and I will definitely be back again, soon.

A beautiful inn on 38th St in Savannah. The Isetta Inn was named for the Isetta car with many photos around the common areas. Amenities were very nice, coffee excellent( self-brew), and many food items to purchase. Access was easy with pass codes provided once registered. Really perfect way to see Savannah. Recommend Uber in to the Inn. Bicycles are available to rent.

Great location in Midtown. Super convenient to several restaurants. About a mile from Colonial Cemetery. They have bikes to rent which makes getting around much eaiser. I hate driving in Savannah because I feel i miss to much. Rooms were secure, safe and the amenities greatly appreciated. Ive been here 3 other times and just rebooked my next trip to Isetta Inn.

Nice place! Interesting decor with a touch of nostalgia. Very easy to check in and out. I arrived late, so it was nice that they didn’t have to wait for me and I didn’t have to rush. All I had to do was follow the instructions they sent, and everything worked perfectly. I stayed in the Polaroid Room, and I loved the large private balcony with a hammock and a few comfy places to sit. It was nice that they had water, sodas, green tea, coffee, etc. available in the kitchen for guests. My only recommendation is to bring heavier clothes and warm pijamas in the winter if you get cold easily. It IS a very old house, so I imagine heating it is not a simple task. I would definitely stay here again!

The house itself was beautiful. Daybed mattress was flimsy and squeeked, very uncomfortable.Shared bath had mold, broken toilet and extremely hot, no A/C. No sanitizing for bathroom. Honor system snacks expired. No K-Cup. Traffic outside was very loud at night. Rooms looked bigger in ads. Parking was difficult due to construction. Grits and oatmeal not provided as described in video.

The room (the screenwriter) was run-down and far from clean: stained blankets and curtains, thick dust under the bed, torn pillowcases full of holes, and even a dirty dishwasher. This is not what you’d expect from anything calling itself a “boutique” inn. I raised a complaint but received no timely reply — only a screenshot days later of an email I never got. Their “solution” (to check out immediately) was unrealistic given my broken foot and short stay. In the end they refused any partial refund and made no genuine effort to resolve the issue. Disappointing experience and misleading description. The area is great though.

The historic charm of this inn is undeniable. My room was clean and comfortable. The staff via phone call was wonderful and accommodating and helpful. However, the common kitchen areas are a little gross. Was going to make a pot of coffee but it had crud and buildup all over it. Walked to a coffee shop instead. Everything needs a deep cleaning/descale. Additionally, the shared bathroom was occupied for a while in the morning so i waited till a little before checkout to try again. When I went in, there was water dripping heavily from the ceiling above. I called to let them know but it meant I was unable to use the bathroom or shower at all. Lastly, I had a package delivered the day I arrived and it says it was handed to a person at reception. However, the package is nowhere to be seen and the inn keeper hasn’t responded to let me know if anyone on staff received it. There’s also a ring doorbell they could check footage of. I recognize that this is as much a carrier issue as anything but there’s no staff on property to help with anything. I have no idea where my package went.

The hosts have taken care to provide such a charming building and rooms for guests to have a nice and unique experience. Excellent cleanliness and smooth check in/ out process. Will book again!

This was the first time I ever did this type of rental. I had a really good first experience. The room was clean and everything was as advertised. I like that everything had coded locks and I loved that it was so Victorian looking. I would recommend it, and I will definitely do it again.

This place was incredible! It was obviously well cared for. Dust free, crisp clean sheets, freshened clean bathrooms and full kitchens that were also highly well maintained. Cozy and quiet I would 100% stay here agin. 0

Room was very nicely decorated. The swinging bed would be nice to have an option to make it stationary. Gave me motion sickness and was hard to sleep. The inner shower curtain has not seen much attention from the cleaning crew as it had mold and mildew on it. But overall we loved our stay and will most definitely book again

I enjoy walking so it’s ideally located. Savannah’s architectural history was fun to explore and easy to navigate to from the inn. Entire inn is clean, organized, and full of nice touches.

The bathroom shower had a gob of hair left from a previous guest, the grout in shower was dirty, the shower curtain is slimy, toilet seat is broken upon arrival. Otherwise great place to stay, the bed is fun

Bed was too small and too soft for us.

The host Lisa was awesome. Her Daughter Angel is a sweetheart. Property is quite unique. It was perfect for our night. Stay in Savannah close to the dock system which is free transport. They provide fans and all the amenities one for Florence. Thank you Miss Lisa and Angel and we will be back.

This little inn is full of personality. We stayed in the Grand Presidential Suite, which included a couple of marvelous balconies, one complete with a swing and fan. The bathroom was huge, as was the sitting room and walk-in closet. We loved the eclectic mix of furniture and decor as well as the old wind-up record player in the room. There are a few restaurants in the area, but you will need to drive for fine dining. Street parking behind the property was fairly easy but we did need to walk about 1/2 a block to get to the site. There is a communal kitchen and lots of opportunities for diy cooking. This place is a great deal for the price!

Awesome space. I stayed in the sacred tower and it was perfect. The rest of the house is decorated very beautifully and I felt safe. Would visit again :)

My husband and I took a short weekend getaway to Savannah and we fell in love with Isetta inn! We stayed in the Honeymoon suite, with a private bathroom and lounge area. At the inn, we felt cozy and right at home. Staying in this eclectic home was a fun experience and I would gladly do it again. The location was close to different restaurants and had beautiful scenery. While the hotel does sit on a busy road, we felt secluded from others. The patio out between the shared homes was a perfect place to relax and have privacy. The staff/host provided an immense amount of information about finding our room and things to do in town, as well as accommodating us for anything we needed. It felt nice to have a phone number provided if we were in need of anything. My husband and I were beyond pleased with our stay at the Isetta Inn.

Very cute and accesible. Alpha romeo room was a little loud, near the front of home.

Very clean and very nice staff. The hanging rope/swing bed was comfy but creaks loudly all night long any time you move or roll over. (Neither my husband nor I are large people.) The street noise is excessive (earplugs are provided) and the parking is limited to a couple of spots a block over. Finding parking took almost an hour and then we had to Uber everywhere to be sure we didn’t lose our spot for our car. The city mission is a couple blocks back so we encountered several people who approached us having conversations with themselves and behaving angrily/aggressively although completely unprovoked. Walking didn’t feel like a safe option in that direction (and most places in the opposite direction - towards historic Savannah - were over a mile walk) so we went back to the house and ate pizza from the bagel place across the street. It was actually very good and the people there were really nice. The room was really eclectic but decor, lighting, etc felt very cheap. Access to the kitchen and stocked food (honor payment system) was great! Fun weekend, but not a high end stay. I’d recommend for a night or two, but anything longer I’d prefer nicer. (Just my opinion/personal preferences, nothing is “wrong” with this place and it could easily be just what someone else is looking for!)

As a recommendation, a TV could be installed in the Alfa Romeo room! You can hear a lot of noise from other rooms, and a TV could help.

The bed in the Presidential Suite was super comfortable, the water pressure was great, and the sitting room in the suite was super spacious. Fabulous book of events, restaurants, bars etc. Highly recommend!!

Perfect location, as our kids live right up the street. Great area, with restaurants and coffee shops, and an easy 1 mi walk to Forsyth Park. Cute house with lots of eclectic touches. Especially loved the drinks and snacks in the kitchen in exchange for a small honor system fee (basically to recoup costs). Unfortunately, most rooms have shared baths. We stayed in the first floor Savannah room off the 37th St lobby with the detached bath just next door. Room small but nice with a very comfy king bed. Since it was Thanksgiving week, it was quiet-- we may have been the only ones there a couple of the 4 nights. At the height of the season, having a robe in the room for dashing out to the loo would be nice. There is quite a lit of street noise, but that's true all over Savannah. The complimentary earplugs were appreciated, as were the bikes available to rent. Our kids are leaving Savannah next year, but we'll probably stay here again for our last visit!

Isetta car which is evident throughout with a lot of history through photos, descriptions, etc.. even though everything’s done remotely the check-in was easy. The door codes worked fine each room has its own theme and beautifully decorated accordingly. Nice wide front porch with rocking chair chairs to relax. Great common rooms. We had an issue in our bathroom with the toilet, which was fixed promptly within two hours. Staff is nice and friendly. I can’t say enough about this. Across the street on the corner a half block away is a coffee shop called the big bond bodega. If you’re a bagel fan, that’s your spot. Great coffee. And around the corner on Bull Street called The Vault. It’s a rejuvenated bank building. We went there three times during the five days we stayed.! You can walk there! I highly recommend Isetta Inn

When I arrived, I did not know where my room was or who to talk to about check in but I received a very helpful message with a link to a video explaining where to park and how to check in and find room. The staff (or owner I assume) greeted me and was very nice and I had a lovely night in this clean and quiet Inn. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here while in Savannah.

Jonathan went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable during my stay. Two days prior to my stay Savannah had a very cold front come in so Jonathan made sure all his guests had heat in their suites. When I checked in to the “Tree House East”, I found the room (3rd floor) too warm. Jonathan made sure to get air conditioning up to my room and when I returned after dinner my room temperature was perfect.

The property and location were great. Very convenient and walkable, with several good restaurants and coffee shops around. My only critique is that my original room was not ready when I showed up at check-in time. However, management was apologetic and upgraded me to a different room, which I appreciated. Overall, I would stay here again.

This hotel experience is highly dependent on personal preference. I've done many keyless/no human check-ins, and this one was clunky. I received an email (via Expedia) the day before check-in stating that I would receive an email the morning of check-in with instructions. So far so good. On the day of check-in, I look in my email inbox and see no instruction email. Moving along, I walk up to the front door of the hotel with no instructions, and see that there is a doorbell to ring for assistance - three attempts, no answer. Then I try the phone number on the front door detailing to call for help. I call a couple of times, no answer. Final attempt I push through to the voicemail, only to be hit with "this voicemail box is too full/not receiving any more messages". 15 minutes later, I try the number again, and finally a staff person picks up - they inform me that check-in instructions are always communicated via TEXT (I don't give my real phone number when booking through a site like Expedia) and that the email sent via Expedia is "automated", essentially alluding to that initial communication as being garbage. But how would I have known that? Aside from the poor check-in, know that this hotel is on a BUSY street. If you are a light sleeper, do not book the Alfa Romeo room. If you are super sensitive to noise, perhaps avoid this hotel. I was able to sleep through the sirens/arguments/honking/music bass, but my partner did not sleep at all (even with the ear plugs provided).

Absolutely horrific experience here. Showed up to watch a YouTube video to check in. No parking available at all, had to park streets away just to get to the spot. Walked in through the back, checked ourselves in on a little sign in sheet, then walked BACK outside to a DIFFERENT house, up some rickety stairs during the torrential rain, then into a kitchen and living room of a house, which I'll admit had a decent atmosphere. Then we climbed even more stairs to find our room, sweltering from the humidity. We scoured the room and then the home for a thermostat, nary one in sight. Finally, in our dimly lit room, we see a binder with some info. We checked in late, as we were told this fine. I thought nothing of it, til I saw we were expected to text someone to adjust our room temp for us. So I did. I waited 30 mins, my partner and I sweating in the bed, then I called. A young woman answered, clearly having been woken up by my call, and said she'd adjust the temperature for us. More time passed, the rain continued to fall outside. The roof was so thin it sounded as if we were trying to sleep inside of a tin can passing under a waterfall. We ended up only staying for five hours, with the majority of our time being spent outside of the room we booked due to the unbearable heat and impossible noise. Despite our early checkout, (another sign out sheet), I am being denied a refund. I booked for 2 full nights, and stayed for five hours. Miserable business practices, stay away from here.

They never gave me check-in instructions, so I wasn’t able to get in to the property. No one responded to any of my phone calls or text messages over the course of four hours, so I had to book a hotel elsewhere.

Second time staying here. Diffirent room and theme. Cool period pieces and fun displays. Close enough to downtown, but still Midtown and lest ceazy.

The house itself is fine, but it is on a very noisy intersection and the neighborhood's was a bit sketchy in areas. Our room was very small and low ceilings so tough to move around. The shower was in the bedroom and only separated by a curtain so a bit odd. The checkin process was easy and the host was responsive remotely.

Great location, lots to walk to and only a mile and half too downtown!

Charming little place. We came for boy harsher at victory north and were pleasantly surprised to find this cute place in the same neighborhood as the venue, all the restaurants I wanted to try, AND a horror museum/record shop. Reasonably priced and has a precious little walkway/entry into the house. Thank you!

Beautiful historical building converted to guest house. Check in was easy, entry codes sent via email and I had no issue getting settled in. My room had access to a large balcony with a rocking chair with a nice breeze blowing during my stay. Perfect for chilling and reading. It may be a little out of the way for some, but I didn’t mind walking to and from downtown.

Very cool BnB in a fun neighborhood. Great bagel shop across street with super coffee. Host is very sweet and funny. Accomodated our need for early checkin. Met very nice guests as well. Very hip Hollywood theme rooms. We will be back!

This was a very cute, unique little inn. Location was close to downtown and an easy 20 min drive to the airport. The staff was very responsive and friendly, the room was clean and bright. The decorations were eclectic and fun. They've turned some kitchen cabinets in the main house into a little snack bar which was convenient and well stocked. Would absolutely stay again if in the area :) Street parking was confusing before taking a look at instructions, but if you have any questions, they answer right away and have maps/videos to use.

I really wouldn't call this place a hostel. It's a jem!!! Every detail was thought as for styling and comfort. The location is great and walkable to cafes and restaurants and to all the historical sights. Street parking was easy and free, they have bicycle for 10$ a day, large kitchen with all amenities you need. The area felt very safe even late at night.

The house was beautiful and immaculate! We loved our room! They included a video for self check-in, which made it very easy. We were only there overnight but if I was there longer I would have definitely rented bikes they offered. My only issue was the door to our room was very squeaky so if going to the bathroom at night it woke up my friend staying with me. Also there is self serve coffee but all the coffee cups were in the dishwasher and not cleaned and there was only enough coffee to make one cup of coffee. I wish the coffee situation was prepared the night before so we could have both enjoyed early morning coffee with ease. Others than that a really beautiful well kept inn!
