This was the perfect place to stay in Bruge. It’s a gorgeous property and well appointed with an excellent staff. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable and quiet. Staying at Dukes’ palace was the highlight of the entire trip to Europe.

Excellent hotel, fantastic outdoor seating area, professional and friendly staff. Tiny, single gripe - not a fan of the pillows. But comfy bed and working air con. A*

The Residence is a funny little annexe to the Dukes Palace hotel. You check in at the main hotel and then they escort you to the Residence, just around the corner. We didn’t use the Palace amenities or restaurant at all so cannot comment on them. The staff were friendly and welcoming though. The hotel room was clean and had everything we needed - minibar, safe, large and comfortable bed. Bruges is very walkable and also has good local transport. The main square is less than 10 minutes walk away from the hotel. Most of the attractions are within a 20-minute walk. As is the train station. We would definitely stay at the hotel again if we revisited.
