Harrison Spa Motel

The hotel was right on main street and easy to find. Room was well appointed. Beds and bedding were comfortable. Walls and baseboards in room could use a good wash, and pavement through alley to main street is uneven which could post a tripping hazard when dark outside. Was told by front desk person that the hotel name used by the owner is because they operate another hotel under the same name in another country, "Harrison Spa Hotel". There is no spa at this hotel. Staff solicit pedestrians walking by, to eat at restaurants on either side of the hotel, stating that if they are hotel guests, they get a 15% discount. No discount was applied to our bill. We had been approached 3 times in one day by the restaurant staff standing to street each time we left or arrived back to our room.

Hotel was very clean but parking was extremely limited and difficult to safely access in and out.

Overall, the stay was decent, and the staff was incredibly kind. Noise: The room was a little noisy due to the restaurant located on the same floor. Breakfast & Dining: There is no complimentary breakfast included, but guests can eat at the on-site restaurant and receive a 15% discount by showing their room key. I also highly recommend the nearby Vietnamese spot, Pho Ho, which is only a five-minute walk away and serves very good food. Parking: There is free parking available outside the hotel. However, parking in the dedicated Spa Hotel area requires a small fee of $5." The room is clean.

Location is great. Very clean room, comfy bed, friendly service. We stayed in the back building on the 2nd floor. Building is old, exterior needs some attention. There is a 5 $can/day charge for parking.

Nice little spot. Silly up charge for parking though if you book through Expedia. Not sure where the name spa comes from. None the less a good easy stay in an expensive area

Management very professional and accommodating. Older property, but well maintained. Wifi was a little spotty but I'm thinking it might be older wifi model. Hotel very close to beach and trails. Shops and restaurants very close. Although older property, I would return.

We came in early and had early check in, also smooth check out, safe parking space with a reasonable fee. We got discount at the pub. Great food too. We enjoyed our stay in Harrison Spa Motel.

Motel was as advertised But confused about the $5 fee to park I thought they’re called Motels because you drive there in a car . . .

The room was very clean but pretty rundown. The bath tub was not comfortable, and we couldn’t reach the front desk when our neighbour was smoking outside our door and all the smoke was coming into our room. However it’s a great location, within walking distance to everything in downtown Harrison Hot Springs. The staff were very friendly when we checked in. We don’t require our room to be made up during our stay, but if others do like that to be done, it’s worth noting that doesn’t happen. Also, it’s called the “Spa Motel,” but there is no spa at all.

Clean rooms great staff very comfortable beds. Harrison is a great place and the motel is a perfect place to enjoy it all. Thanks guys I will be back!

We have stayed a few times at this motel. Very clean and close walk to the beach and restaurants. Staff and owner are very nice and accommodating.

Certainly not impressed having paid $278 for a single night plus getting dinged $5.80 for parking. Rooms were mediocre, with a bathroom door that is like 8-10 inches shorter than a standard door which led to a lot of ducking through the doorway to avoid smacking my head. There was also what seemed to be an old blood stain on one of the lamp shades by the bed which made us question the cleanliness of the room. In addition, being in a room above the restaurant the room smelt like fryer grease all evening, there was also lots of noise from the kitchen that ran through 9pm and beyond, which was great for waking our toddler constantly. All of this made for a poor stay for one night of our vacation, we drove 12 hours to visit this area from northern BC and I doubt I would ever come back to this establishment.

For an older motel, I was pleasantly impressed with the cleanliness and comfort of my room. Everything was in good shape, and sparkling clean. Great price, right on the strip, and a 15% discount at base camp restaurant. Parking is a bit of a squeeze with bigger trucks and vans, everything else was fine. Great value.

Bed clean and fairly comfortable. Toilet, sink, tub clean. Spiders in every corner of the ceilings. Dirty window sills, baseboards. Broken window blinds, missing curtain. Carpet old and worn. Furniture old and worn or damaged.

My room was dirty. It was very cold. I had the heat on max and it was still freezing until the middle of the night and I checked in around 2:00 p.m. so that was kind of ridiculous. I could hear everything from people on every angle. There was no blow dryer or microwave which was disappointing. Overall, I was very disappointed. The word spa should definitely not be in the title of this place.

Very old. Roo. Was qorn down and dirty. Gave it a 2 because the bed was comfy. Otherwise it struggles to be a 1 star. Called a spa motel. Has no spa. During check in the guy and office smelled soooo bad my husband and son couldnt even stay in the office. It was a prepaid reservation so couldt cancel The bathroom floor was so gross my shoes wefe sticking to the floor. Outlets and wall racks were falling off the walls. Spend a bit more money and stay somewhere else. Parking was $5 extra dollars which we didnt expect so we had to find street parking. There wre not near enough spots compared to rooms.

We arrived to Harrison Spa Motel hoping to spend 2 nights and enjoy the scenery of the area. We were so disappointed and disgusted when we saw our room that we decided to stay one night instead of 2, and left early. The room was beat up and run down. The carpet was sticky and dirty with, hair balls, chards of glass left on it, broken tiles on the bathroom floor with packing tape to hold them together. The walls were damaged with peeling paint and being above the burger joint a smell of grease enveloping everything. The plumbing was shaking the whole bedroom and making loud noise when the next room over took a shower and same in our bathroom. After we checked in, there was no one to assist us. We called the phone number listed, rang the buzzer several times, called out at the front desk for 45 minutes without anyone answering. We are asking for our second night to be refunded, we are jumping through the hoops. Hopefully they will be reasonable and refund the night we did not spend there, as we checked out before their regular check out time. This is not a nice place. The pictures listed are outdated and do not reflect the current state of the motel. The service...well is limited. So disappointing.

Motel room was on bottom floor. The man working the reception was really friendly and told us hwere things were and 15 percent off at one of the diners. The room was spotless and the bed was comfortable.

We upgraded and our room was a delightful surprise. Our beds were very comfortable. We loved the room, the balcony and the view. The staff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant and ice cream shop they own were stellar. I would recommend staying here.

Great location, beautiful view of the lake from our balcony. Great food in the burger/breakfast restaurant downstairs. I would stay again. the Building’s exterior is a little run down compared to the other structures in the area, however the inside is a lot better.

The location can’t be beat, steps to the beach. Hotel was very clean. Value was good when comparing to other hotels in town. Our room was above the restaurant and we couldn’t hear it. It was in need of updating but more importantly some repairs, the tile on our bathroom floor was smashed which was a bit worrying if any pieces were to come loose and cut our feet.

Walls are paper thin, so if there is noise outside or someone above you walking around, you aren’t going to get much sleep. Bring your earplugs. Otherwise it was a good place to sleep and the staff were very friendly.

Facility was old, noise on the night time. Kept heard someone was talking next room.

Affordable rooms in a good location in Harrison. Rooms are for sure outdated, and while the location after 9:00pm was fairly quiet, the walls are paper thin, and you can hear your neighbors every move. Snoring, their TV, every time anyone close turns a faucet on, making it difficult for a good nights sleep. Just a kettle with instant coffee (no drip machine or real coffee, just instant), and no room service options to be had (which is fine, there are plenty of places to grab a bit literally feet from the front door) That being said, I would consider staying here again, (although, maybe in a different room on the other side of the property) The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms appeared clean, bed was fairly comfortable. A/C unit was way too loud to be able to be used. Depending on what you are going to Harrison for, and for how long, this may be an ideal spot and leaves some money in your pocket to spend at the dozens of vendors, shops and restaurants within a stones throw of the motel door. As I was simply passing though and staying the night to break up a very long drive, this was ideal for me, but If I was staying a 2-3-4 days, and potentially would be spending more time in the room, I would look elsewhere for more comfort.

Staff is great like this place .

My granddaughter and I were expecting a nice relaxing visit to a new location in Harrison. What we got was a neighbour disturbing us until after 2 AM with no support from staff when I rang the buzzer to have this issue taken care of. This carried on and started again before 7AM. With no sleep and complaints to the Management in the morning, all we got was an exteneded stay, which was not acceptable as we needed to get home for the early afternoon. It would have been nice to have been offered some compensation, even coffee and breakfast, but nothing was offered. I even had to pay for a proper coffee as all the room had to offer was instant coffee and no tea. Unless there is some kind of compensation offered, we will not be returning and letting Expedia and the motel owners know of our horrible experience.

We love coming back here. Great place to relax and unwind. Room is very clean and very friendly staff. Special thanks to Rahul who made check in a breeze.

Very good location. It's just beside the lake and minutes-walk to the mineral pool. Parking in the parking lot requires a bit of skill.

It’s a older place but it’s affordable and right on the waterfront.. will stay there again

the location of Harrison Spa Motel is excellent, being walking distance to most of Harrison sites. the parking is tight, but just enough stalls to accommodate one vehicle per room. should paint arrows on the driveway and have signs that there is a one way (south to north). Harrison Hot springs has confusing one

Love this little beach motel so much! Very central location. Great walkability with many amenities nearby. It's not fancy but it's not trying to be. Just a really chill vibe and a fun getaway.

Great location. Staff were excellent. Basic but clean and comfortable. We needed to leave our car parked after checkout, and not a problem at all. Great restaurant right outside the front, and nice to get 15% off if staying at the hotel. Would stay there again

The proximity to all amenities was great. Lots of culinary choices for dining nearby (all walkable). The attached restaurant had excellent food and included a discount which was a nice surprise. It was a relaxing couple of days…would return!

For the price, this was an excellent value. Super convenient location, 15% off at the next door restaurants with a great burger and fries and ice cream, clean room, and a fantastic bed. Would def stay here again.

The price point for this property is excellent. The room is clean and comes with everything you need for a great experience in Harrison. If you stay you receive a discount to eat in the attached restaurants. The food and service excellent. The staff at the motel are very friendly. I would recommend to friends and stay again.
