We loved our stay. We were in the large round building with the king bed. It is not on the beach, but the property is quite small so that was not a problem. I loved all of the space. The onsite restaurant is fantastic, but they sometimes (often!) run out of flour for the pizzas. The beach, I think may be my favorite of all time and I travel! It is so long. We never did get around to walking as far as we could go to the left, which would be west, but did go that way a bit. But we did walk to the east or right, and we were able to make it all the way to Playa Bonita in the town of Las Terrenas! Bring water, we were so dehydrated by the time we got back, but so fun to be able to walk that far. And! There were waves for body surfing, or renting a surf board or boogie board. Can't recommend enough!
