Room size was reasonable with good amenities including a microwave oven. There was only one USB charging outlet in the room. As it is located within a club, everyone needs an ID card to enter the ground level.

This is a quiet and clean hotel with modern facilities. BUT NOTE: the one small lift from the reception area down to the basement car park is inadequate, slow and seems to be in poor condition.

Convenient to public transport, sports club right within the hotel complex. The elevators needs some attention, the guest laundry needs some lighting and since the hotel is tied up with the sports club the process for going in and out of the building needs to be reviewed ( we stayed for six days and we have to go through the process of being checked everyday. How about if you are checkin the hotel then automatically the guest should get a pass to the club for the duration. Thanks

Loved that we had the choice of so many Vietnamese restaurants in the local area. Not very happy about problematic access into the parking area. No direct lift to levels P1 and P2 is a definite negative for the property. Also, with building works in foyer and with the lift near Mercure reception being blocked off, we had to go out into the street and enter the car park under the boom gate for cars. We did note that on one occasion however, Sports Club staff we near the glass lifts allowing parking access.....but not when we left this morning.

really loved the location connected to the Sporting Club which on its own is fantastic. Bed was really comfy room was extremely quiet, staff very friendly & helpful. Parking is easy and comped by the hotel. Only negative but not significant is bathroom could do with a bit of TLC. Definitely will go back.

I was on level 10 the first to nights had no air-conditioning and then the three night air-conditioning worked but it made a lot of noise , the hotel was booked out and thy couldn't give me another room or give me a discount on the nights i stayed at the hotel

We booked a room for 3 people, it clearly states on the site that there is an extra sofa bed in the room amenities so we assumed we had a standard double room with a pull out sofa bed. On arrival, no sofa bed. We called reception twice, they told us they would bring up a fold out. Another 2 calls later we finally got the pullout bed for our son at about 1am. Reception also didn’t tell us about breakfast on check in, we had to to go and ask about it later on. Great hotel, but bad service.

It honestly had a 3-star hotel vibe. The walls in the room were damaged, with scratches and paint missing from most of the room doors in the hallway. The carpet in the rooms looked as if someone had spilled chips on the floor, which frustrated my OCD. The low-flow toilets were embarrassing; I had to flush 4 times. The furnishings in the bathroom had been patched and repaired. The shower had patches of discolouration in the corners. Though I did enjoy the shower, the water flow and temperature were nice. The staff were uninterested during check-in. Perhaps I got someone who was new or having a bad day, but they seemed disorganised. Staff at check out made a positive impression though. The breakfast and club facilities were excellent and did most of the heavy lifting for the rating.
