A fabulous hotel in the suburbs of Sydney close to Burwood shopping precinct. The hotel itself is excellent with a great rooftop bar and breakfast buffet. The bed was so comfortable we slept well

Firstly we were put into Room 201 which was a disabled room which wasnt really a problem but we paid for a city view room. Shower curtain was very short hence water went all over the bathroom floor. Otherwise the room was very clean and bed & linen comfortable. No option for decaf coffee or tea and no milk option in room. Hotel was lovely, coffee shop very nice. Breakfast was good however basic breads available. Reception staff very helpful and courteous. Onsite underground parking was easily accessible and clean. We would stay there again as it was convenient to Olympic park for concert with a short cab ride.

Staff were very friendly. The kids loved the Skye pool. Close to Burwood Westfield for shopping and China town for dinner. Two massive kids park located across the road which we walked to each day. Loved our stay and can’t wait to go back.

Good location in Chinatown. Park for walks opposite. Small room but comfortable. Pillows very hard and lumpy even though they say they are soft. Pool on roof was heated and good for laps but no shelter for clothes/towels when it rained and had to walk through a public space to get to it which is not ideal. Staff very friendly and courteous. We booked the package with meals (three course dinners and breakfast) because we needed to eat in house for personal reasons and the advertising said that there were three restaurants to choose from. We ended up paying for meals external to the hotel; an unexpected expense. The main restaurant was not open on two days and neither was the roof top bar which was booked for a private football function on another night so off limits to guests. In any case, it only provided light snacks. The breakfast was very basic and crowded and not enough cups so drinking out of takeaway cups. The restaurant on the ground floor was very basic in its menu and had a cold ambience. Once again, the staff were excellent but the facilities were not of the standard that you would expect for the price and there are definitely NOT three restaurants as advertised. Probably worth half the money but no more and the advertising is deceptive. I would not return.

Had a good stay here. Booked as I was going to a concert at Homebush so location was good. A little disappointed that I couldn’t experience the rooftop bar as there was a private function, guests staying there should be able to experience all aspects of the hotel. Booked a room with a balcony facing the park but the view was obstructed due to a large area of rooftop extending from the balcony areas. It would be awesome if this area had some greenery, potted plants and such so if guests can’t see the park, at least they can have a nice green outlook from the windows rather than just a grey, bland rooftop. Other than this, the room was clean and comfortable, staff were welcoming and helpful and lovely to deal with. Overall, great stay.

I stayed here once before and in my memory I was pretty happy back then. The room that I had now was not in a good condition, dirty walls that needed painting and also the furniture was dirty and have a lot of stains. Also housekeeping could do a better job as it was far from spotless. Breakfast looked nice but not much healthy options. They do offer laundry service, but it is crazy expensive (more expensive than most five star hotels). Based on this stay, I will not return!

The room is a bit dated, towel rail needs tightening, the table was not wiped on our second day of stay. Bed is very comfortable and hotel is convenient to the places I have to be during my stay. Lots of food choices on Burwood Rd which is great.

The hotel room has no carpet and the floors were dirty. And the bathroom tiny. I appreciate the prices were high due to events, but even at the standard rate I would expect more. Will not be staying there again

Had a bit of a horrific stay. Lights started to flash at about 1am in the morning on the second night. I had to run out of the room to notice that I was the only one affected. I called reception and they told me that's okay, it happens when dimmable lights are close to off but I was sleeping, I didn't touch those lights. In the end, it was an issue with the power switches turning off and on. I was given another room and it was a downgrade. There were also some issues with the AC turning off/on randomly and on the day before the lights flashing I seen some sparks when turning off/on the washroom lights. I wonder if that's ok, especially when someone leaves the washrooms after a shower with his/her hands wet. Anyway, I've been given a smaller downgraded room and no managers or superiors came to me to explain the situation nor did I complain... maybe I should've. I did however manage to speak with someone from reception one night before I left and I was given 10% off food. Yeah, not being able to sleep that night and the flashbacks I had from horror movies (lol) + jetlag coming from the UK was only a 10% off food consolation for a day worth about 5$. I did however appreciate the late checkout that I was offered, unfortunately I had to leave early for my flight next morning. The staff I also noticed was a bit careless, especially the room cleaners when walking around. In a nutshell, perhaps I was just unlucky but this one of the worst stays I had ever and if I count $ paid.

Excellent location and proximity to Burwood Chinatown and train station. I had booked & paid for a park view room but was allocated a room without a view (looked out onto an aircon unit on a roof) which is a shame. Special mention to the cafe staff- I had ordered dinner late and arranged to pick up. When I returned to collect, the kitchen was running a bit behind and the kind staff member offered to run the food up, instead of me waiting, which I sincerely appreciated- the food was delicious!

There was only one staff and no concierge to help us to take our luggages to our room. Apart from running under low staff with limited extra request available to the hotel, the available staff did what they could to help us to get extra pillow at night. Appreciate for her effort.

Very convenient location, great for families with a large park and playground across the road and a Westfield 2 minutes walk away. We stayed for an event at Olympic Park and it was an easy 10 minute drive there. We had a minor issue with the room and the staff were very helpful and apologetic, and did everything they could to fix the issue as quickly as possible. Would definitely stay again.

I stayed here with my family, We were checked in and greeted by a lovely admin lady… We arrived and opened the door to what we thought would be a premium instead it wasn’t, it wasn't what we booked and I was very unhappy, wasn’t enough towels, no robes, basically no room for 3 kids to relax either.. We booked for a premium suite which I must say was very costly, We were given a standard room.. we then had to ask the receptionist about the rooms etc, and to my surprise I dont think Crown Plaza would of told us they gave us another room due to the “ overbooking “ instead we had to complain and query on this issue.. so if we hadn’t said something I know for sure they wouldn’t of told us about this which makes me wonder… do they do this all the time? do they rip people off alot? anyways we are still waiting for a reply and a “ partial refund” so lets hope the refund is somewhat reasonable because we certainly didn’t get a park view. we got a view of the bins outside and neighbours hanging their washing lol. anyways all in all… Our experience would of been alot better if we weren’t jam packed into a small room for 5 people… I dont think I will be using this hotel again.

Perfect location for me for a Coldplay Concert at Sydney Olympic Stadium and i was very happy with the whole experience. Definitely on my list now for a return when in that part of Sydney.

Perfect place to stay. Location was great for me to easily walk to Strathfield Private Hospital. Surrounded by Restaurants n Cafés, park across the road, bus stop at the door, train station n easy walk not to mention Westfield shopping mall a 2 minute walk. Worked out perfect.

We arrived at night, staff at check in were lovely. We were so surprised when we got to our room at how large it was and it had a massive balcony, really nice room and amenities. Breakfast included was nice and again very friendly staff. Great location for what we needed and we enjoyed visiting the Burwood Chinatown night markets just up the road. Nice park with a playground a short walk away for the kids and close to the Burwood train station. Easy parking under the building too. Wish we'd had a chance to check out the pool

Flies on open food - dried scrambled egg.. attended once dutingv2 week stay although included… Had to request more thorough room cleaning. Restaurant Reception and coffee shop staff excellent. Sincecstaying 3 years ago found both dining areas had limited time availability. Quite disappointing.

Excellent value for Family of Five. The boys enjoyed the pool, even though the weather wasn’t amazing and the parents enjoyed a terrific dinner at Onyx grill. The location was handy, close to shops and park which satisfied everyone.

Staff were super nice friendly and accommodating. Location was great. Room lovely. The dining options within the motel are fantastic and it was a short walk to the local Chinatown. Would definitely stay here again!
