Room cleaning - stained towels provided, glasses not replaced over 4 day stay Shower - floods the room Surroundings look like a dump due to work on closed and empty swimming pool, other rubbish on site, not properly maintained Would not recommend

Perfectly nice place to stay. Very good value. Amazing location just metres from centre of San Pedro. Decent pool area. Breakfast was nice. Room was basic, cosy and clean. We only booked the day before so no complaints really. Stayed for 3 nights. If I was staying longer I would need a bigger room. Ours was a twin in the main hotel

I booked a room at Diego de Almagro in San Pedro for a few days. I made a good decision. I found the room to be comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. The pool area was nice and the restaurant was good.

Fantastic hotel, staff and service. Swimming pool fun. Great location, Safe and fantastic location. You are surrounded by beautiful scenery. Highly recommend.

Felt like we were at a resort. Food and facilities were great and close walk to town yet distance enough for a quiet and safe space.

Excelente desayuno, variado, completo. El personal muy amable y siempre dispuestos a ayudar. Las habitaciones confortables y buen baño. La ubicación excelente, a 50 mts de la calle principal. Estacionamiento amplio.

This place isn’t worth more than USD70 a night but charges at least double that. Tiny, tired rooms and bathrooms. Tub took forever to drain after a shower. Lots of noise (e.g. people talking in the corridors or using the TV/shower in other rooms) which is easily heard at night. Staff unhelpful and officious. Wifi only available in the lobby. No complimentary bottled water offered at all, despite the notice that the tap water isn’t potable. No fans or aircon in the room despite the desert environment. No towels provided at the pool. TV picture grainy and unclear. Best avoided. Positives: Nice pool. Acceptable, if basic, breakfast. Good location.

El personal muy amable y preocupado del bienestar Y comodidad de la gente. Todo muy limpio y tranquilo

Das Zimmer war ruhig und ausreichend, das Bad aber recht klein. Es hat manchmal sehr lange gedauert, bis das Zimmer gemacht wurde. Die Lage war sehr praktisch nah, ohne durch Lärm beeinträchtigt zu sein.

No geral o hotel é ótimo. É limpo, silencioso, com excelentes funcionários e bom café da manhã. A proximidade com o centro é excelente também. Ao lado dos melhores restaurantes e area de compras de San Pedro. Precisa de uma pequena modernizada.

Foi apenas de 1 dia, na volta do Salar de Uyuni, mas foi muito boa. Hotel muito bonito, amplo, quarto enorme e confortável, cama, roupa de cama e toalhas muito boas. Ótimo chuveiro, com agua quente e boa pressão. A piscina enorme, pena não ter dado tempo de aproveitá-la. Tudo muito bem conservado e limpo. Café da manhã muito farto, grande variedade. Gostei muito. Padrão alto para San Pedro, mas vale a pena um mimo assim para o corpo depois de 10 dias no calor e frio do deserto.

Nice very clean hotel, which is not easy in this area due to the dusty streets. Efficient friendly staff and great location just off the Main Street. Pool was great after a day in the heat too.

San pedro e um lugar simples que encanta. Belos passeios. O hotel e bacana, a limpeza ficou a desejar. Otimas refeições. Voltaria, com certeza.

Very friendly and welcoming. Great, if cool swimming pool. Small but quiet room with view of swimming pool. Good WiFi. Good breakfast. Shower/bath water warm rather than hot in the afternoon but definitely hot in the morning. TV had 2 English news channels and loads of channels - sometimes a film in English. We enjoyed our overnight stay at the Diego de Almagro. A nice relaxing place away from the madness of San Pedro.

Quarto e banheiro muito apertados. Mal tinha espaco para a minha mala e de meu marido (e eram malas de bordo). Adicionalmente, nos deram 2 camas de solteiro em vez de 1 de casal alegando que o hotel estava lotado e nao havia outro quarto. Por sorte era apenas 1 noite de estadia. Na semana anterior nos hospedamos por 5 noites neste mesmo hotel e o quarto era espaçoso e cama de casal.

Can’t make my mind up about this hotel. There is a great pool - definitely nice to enjoy after early starts on various tours. Staff were super friendly and helpful too. However facilities in the room were quite basic. Having a fridge was a bonus however there was no safe in the room which is pretty standard nowadays. Also no AC or fan in the room which given the heat again is something I would’ve expected. The curtains over the door aren’t block out so let a lot light in - thankfully I’d packed a sleep mask to help mitigate this. Finally WiFi didn’t stretch as far as the hotel room which was a little faff when trying to book up tour things. Overall a nice hotel with a fantastic pool and in a great location. However I do think it was overpriced for what I paid.

Localizaçao do hotel é muito boa. Perto do centro. Funcionarios muito enrolados e engessados para resolver os problemas q tivemos. Hotel oferece um lanche box para levarmos nos dias q sairmos antes do cafe ser servido. Precisa ser avisado na vespera ate as 21h. Se avisar depois eles nao consegue incluir. (falha do hotel nao ter uma sobra ou flexibilidade para esse serviço). Aconteceu do nosso pedido nao estar na lista, nossa saida era as 4h da manha para o passeio, mesmo o funcionario vendo o erro, nao queria ou nao tinha autonomia de resolver o erro do hotel. E estamos falando de 01 suco de caixa, 01 fruta, 01 sanduiche e 01 barra de cereal. Porque o hotel nao tem extras montados, ou qq oura coisa para oferecer ao hospede. Nosso quarto era virado para a piscina, muito barulho dos demais hospedes q ficam nas mesas embaixo da nossa janela. Sem contar q o hotel nao tem ar condicionado. Tinhamos que ficar com a janela aberta para circular o ar, e com isso o barulho da area externa. Muito dificil de dormir, mesmo apos as 22h. Faltou agua uma tarde. Horarios do serviço da cozinha era muito limitado. Chegamos as 11h e o cafe da manha já havia encerrado, e a cozinha nao podia fazer um simples sanduiche. Uma pena, pois o hotel tinha tudo para ser incrivel. Mas a falta de flexibilidade deles para resolver as demanda e problemas, fez com que avaliassemos como ruim. E nao recomendamos para mais ninguem.

Wifi is atrocious and practically nonexistent unless you’re in the lobby. Rooms are dated but manageable. Bed is very soft and definitely needs to be changed. Breakfast is mediocre at best and doesn’t offer much.

I would rate this hotel just one star. And in the first place, because of the front desk service. The front desk staff is not helpful at all. Only one man, Jose-Louis, really helped us, and this is the reason for the second star. The other man, unfortunately, I didn't ask his name, answered almost all our questions with a "stone face" and very simple way - I don't know. The same was the next day with others. The entire staff needs to be trained on how to smile, use such words like "please", "sure", etc. If you are in the area for your very first time, it is a common thing to ask the front desk for some suggestions, advice, recommendations... And the answer - I don't know - is the last thing you want to hear in such a small town like San Pedro, with just the one short main street. But the biggest disaster is their bed. It is extremely uncomfortable. A sagging cheap foam mattress, rocky pillows, so I got the back ache at the second night. Sorry, there is something else good about this hotel - the breakfast is OK. Not great, but it's OK. And a lot of crowing roosters all night through...

Equipe da recepção bastante grosseira. Um membro de nosso grupo teve um problema e não pode participar de um passeio de manhã bem cedo. A recepçãlo não permitiu que tomasse café porque já tinha entregue na noite anterior um box com lanche. Mesmo com a entrega do box intacto negou acesso ao café da manhã, algo inadmissível para um hotel que se entende de nível. Além do mais, os quartos ficavam sujos até quatro da tarde, não havia ar condicionado ( e a partir das 15:00 até as 17:30 faz muito calor) e as camas tinham colçhões ruins. Recomendo fortemente que se escolha outro hotel na região. Diegro de Almagro nunca mais!

Equipe muito agradável e prestativa, principalmente o recepcionista Eduardo! O quarto era limpo e confortável. Café da manhã muito bom! Ficamos por duas vezes nesse hotel, na segunda estadia o quarto era triplo, aí não era tão confortável quanto o primeiro. A banheira onde ficava o chuveiro era muito pequena.

The staff of Diego de Almagro in San Pedro de Atacama has delivered top-notch customer service that I have rarely seen anywhere else while traveling. We had an issue with the reservation, and as soon as the reception manager and the general manager collected all the details and verified it, they immediately took action to make things better, by correcting the payment, implementing any corrective actions in their processes and more importantly by putting their face immediately, apologizing for the inconvenience. There is still humanity out there, I am so happy we found it in Yoselyn and her staff. Beyond that, the hotel is among the biggest in the town I believe, and it also offers a pretty nice swimming pool. You can't go wrong, by choosing it!

Hotel is in great location. Staff were extremely helpful especially when things weren't quite as expected. Jose Luis was particularly helpful.

We stayed at this property for 2 nights. We ran into issues with our rental car the day we picked it up in Calama. Juliette was so amazing and spoke to the rental and towing folks for us; later there were two other gentleman from the front desk who also had conversations with the rental/ tow folks for us. He also helped me get a taxi to the airport the day we were leaving. The property is pretty basic, but clean and the food is also basic, but the customer service from Juliette and team was exceptional!!

Funcionários da recepção muito atenciosos, principalmente o Eduardo, sempre amável e prestativo. Quarto muito confortável, precisamos de manutenção em uma das tomadas e foi prontamente resolvido. Café da manhã muito bom, com muita variedade de alimentos. Ótima localização.

I am a female solo traveler and I stayed at the hotel for four nights. Hotel is centrally located and extremely walkable to the main street and various restaurants. Staff friendly and professional and I felt very safe during my stay.

Nous avons pris une chambre twin supérieure. La qualité était correct pour un superbe emplacement. L’hôtel au centre du village et au calme. Le petit déjeuner était bon.

Good location, right in the center of the town. Walk to everything. On site parking. Great breakfast buffet.

O hotel fica bem localizado. Ficamos de sexta a domingo. As duas noites foram quase sem dormir por causa do barulho que vem das casas noturnas. Música muito alta. O hotel deveria ter janelas a prova de som. Os funcionários só pensam em dinheiro. Quiseram me cobrar para emprestar um abridor de vinho. Isso que falaram que poderia comprar e trazer para o quarto. Colchão muito mole, talvez pelo tempo de uso. Esperava mais pela propaganda

The hotel is in an excellent location with the main pedestrian street half block away. Is a charming property but is quite old, don’t expect luxury or even high comfort (to an American standard), but to be fair, is quiet good compared with other hotels in the area. There are other more modern hotels but they are quite far from the main pedestrian section of the town. The hotel Is very safe. I would definitely recommend and I would happily stay there again.

A estadia foi muito boa, a comida ótima, a localização excelente, os funcionários prestativos, o check in e checkout muito rápidos. Porém as instalações dos quartos poderiam ser melhores, pois a porta do banheiro não fechava, e a recepção dos canais da tv muito ruins.
