Korean Traditional House - Pungkyung

This was an excellent experience, cute house that we really enjoyed. The owners were amazing, very sweet and attentive over our three nights here. This is not a hotel stay, so don’t expect that. However they took amazing care of us, restocked some kitchen basics daily, etc. The only item we did have is that the bed, especially the floor mats in the larger room were uncomfortable. It’s just a thin mat on the floor, which was OK but if you need a mattress and struggle on the floor be aware.

Nice and clean

We absolutely loved the stay at this traditional property. We rented the whole house which came with three rooms plus a kitchen and central courtyard. Mr. Steve was very helpful throughout. His wife cleaned the apartment everyday and stocked the kitchen with breakfast items - bread, eggs, milk, bananas, apples, noodles, and yogurt. The house is close to many good eating places too. Even though we visited during the winter, the house was warm. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing and totally recommended. The house is clean, traditional in one way so we can really experience traditional living in Korean’s house but also modern bath room. The kitchen is complete and the host provided food / breakfast which is very helpful. It is so close to palace so we can enjoy all traditional things around here. So happy to stay in this beautiful hanok.

Un bel hébergement..typique de la Corée ce qui est un gros plus !! Bien équipé..au calme. Nous étions 4 adultes. Très bien placé..à proximité du Palais et tout proche du métro. Nombreux restaurants à côté. Le propriétaire est super sympa.. Nous avons pu laisser nos valises le dernier jour pour continuer de visiter tranquillement et les récupérer dans l’après midi.. Nous avons vraiment apprécié cette jolie maison traditionnelle.
