Mooi hotel in een kerk midden in de stad. Hoorn is een zeer leuke stad met vele terAssen en restaurants . Goedkope parking op loop afstand .en ook goed bereikbaar met openbaar vervoer.

Mooi sfeervol hotel in hartje centrum. Jammer dat je er niet kon parkeren. De kamers waren prachtig en sfeervol. Ontbijt was een beetje rommelig maar verder een prachtig hotel

The hotel was not easy parking but it was a quiet, good, comfortable and clean one.

Amazing place. It was a church and now is a cozy hotel with restaurant at the basement. The rooms have 2 wide windows, one faced to the walking path and one to the ancient windows of the church. Really quite at night

Personeel is heel vriendelijk. Bij inchecken werden tips gegeven voor goede restaurants en "uitjes". Geboekte comfort kamer had geen raam waardoor je naar buiten kon kijken. Dit vond ik niet prettig en daarom gevraagd naar een andere kamer. Dit was een upgrate van 20 euro per nacht. Dit bedrag hoefden we voor de eerste nacht niet te betalen. Parkeren van de auto is niet toegestaam voor het hotel en daarvoor kun je naar een parkeergarage. Dus betaald parkeren.

Very unique hotel located in an old church. We loved the area around the hotel. The hotel was clean and very nice. And we also enjoyed the restaurant and bar downstairs, Saints. I would have given it 5 stars but for two small things. The only windows in the rooms (for most rooms) is into the hallway. So you need to keep the drapes closed while in the room, which kind of makes it strange to not be able to see the weather and such outside. I understand the need for this design, and the room temperature was nice and cool. So it definitely wasn’t a deal breaker and I knew about this from reviews from booking. The other issue was the fire alarm going off in the middle of the night, twice! It was due to another guest that I believe was smoking in the room, and then ran the shower super hot to try to cover the smoke the second time. I never saw a hotel staff during this time. Maybe I missed them. I hope they addressed this guest, but with it going off twice I am not sure. Other than that we had a lovely stay and truly loved the area.

This property is in the middle of the town, and is absolutely gorgeous. From the moment you walk through the doors, you feel transported to a different time. The hotel lobby is open and bright with a stunning bar being the centre piece. We stayed on the second floor, the room were comfortable and well designed. Would definitely recommend a visit to Heavens Hotel, if not for a stay, definitely for a lunch on their outside patio.

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr zentral und die Fußgängerzone, der historische Hafen sowie die meisten Restaurants und Bars sind nicht weit entfernt. Leider gibt es, aufgrund der Lage, keine hoteleigenen, sondern nur öffentliche und kostenpflichtige Parkplätze, die besonders abends äußerst knapp und teuer sind (max. 1h zu je 3,10). Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, der Empfang herzlich und das Ambiente in der Lobby/Restaurant/Bar ist sehr ansprechend. Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll designed (gemütlich und luxuriös im Industriestil mit viel Glas). Der Einbau der Zimmereinheiten in die große Kirche ist sehr originell. Ich habe mir jedoch "mehr Kirche" vorgestellt. Man sieht auf den Fluren Säulen, die dicken Mauern und die Buntglasfenster. Vor allem aber ist es im Winter auf den Fluren "saukalt". Im Restaurant geht es und im Zimmer kann man es mit max. 23°C schön warm machen. Von unserer gebuchten Suite war ich jedoch enttäuscht. Es entspricht zwar den Abbildungen auf der Website, ist jedoch viel kleiner als gedacht. Den Wohnbeteich kann man zwar vom Schlafbereich durch eine massive Schiebetür trennen, aber es ist alles sehr beengt und es

Third time to stay. Rooms are spacious, no problem opening suitcases. The room this time had only a shower without a bathtub, but it was cleaned and beautiful. However, I was surprised that sometimes there was no hot water no matter how many minutes I waited. I was also disappointed that the breakfast had fewer items than before. However, I slept well in the large bed and it was comfortable.

Een mooie locatie voor de viering van onze 50 jarige (gouden) bruiloft. Kritisch maar opbouwende punten: De gordijnen van de kamer zijn uitgezakt en komen op de grond waardoor deze naar de gang altijd een zichtkier geven. Dat voelt niet prettig. Housekeeping stond met ca 5 personen de handdoeken te vouwen op de gang.

Was net, schoon en vriendelijk personeel. Geen klachten eigenlijk.

I absolutely loved this hotel. The interior is beautiful as all the rooms are subtlety different in decor. Because this is a converted church, there are no outside windows, which might bother some people. However, I found the beds very comfortable, the aircon very responsive and due to the quietness I had a great night’s sleep. The breakfast buffet was very good and the waffles with strawberries were a family favourite. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is central and because of the size of the church, very easy to find your way back to!

Cant fault it for the price. Unusual, clean, tidy, great location. Was perfect for our trip to Hoorn.

There was no natural light in our room. The "window" opened onto the corridor, as with all other rooms. Naturally everybody kept the curtains closed the whole time, or else other guests walking down the corridor saw into the room. The room was equipped as expected but was "atmospherically" lit. A head torch would have been useful. Consequently, my scores for cleanliness etc are low as I could not see. Similarly eco friendliness is low as we had all the lights on all the time. The restaurant was closed for Kingsnight party. So we had dinner at de Bourgondier which was terrific.

We spent 4 nights at Heavens Hotel whilst we visited friends in Hoorn, and the hotel was an absolute delight! The setting within an old church is so unique - the room was large and roomy, very clean, a lovely bathroom. The housekeeping staff were very friendly and accommodating, and were happy to come back if we had a late start leaving our room. Reception staff were also very friendly. Breakfast on offer was extensive and very tasty - the chef was very accommodating. Perhaps the only disappointing part of our stay was that the staff member in charge of breakfast each day tried to explain on several days how the breakfast worked - we were the only Australians in the hotel at the time, I believe, and speaking English, and the breakfast restaurant was not terribly busy at the time, so it was disappointing that she did not remember we had been to breakfast the day before, and then the day before that, and the day before. Also, we ordered English breakfast tea each morning, and each morning we were surprised that our order wasn't remembered. This was a minimal issue, and I feel a little critical in mentioning it, however we stayed in a number of hotels throughout Europe which were much busier, and most days our orders (and ourselves) were remembered by breakfast staff. The little personal touch of remembering that we had been there the day previously, and remembering what we ordered to drink, would have made a huge difference. Overall - a great stay, highly recommended!

Leuk hotel in een voormalige kerk. Kleine kamer, lekker bed en goede douch. Wat minder is de verlichting. Koffie en thee voorziening oké maar staat in een donkere kast. Verder heeft de kamer geen ramen dus geen verse lucht. Dit is een beetje bebouwd! Prijs kwaliteit enigszins uit balans.

I liked the concept of being in a converted church, what i didn't like so much is that i felt being in a fishbowl, and by closing the curtains made the room very dark.

Excellent hotel but lighting too low

Reisende sollten darauf hingewiesen werden, dass die Zimmer in dieser Unterkunft keine Fenster haben. Man schließt die Fensterfront, die auf der einen Seite zum Hotelflur geht, mit einem Vorhang. Somit ist es nichts für Menschen, die Tageslicht benötigen. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist schön und praktisch, auch ist es geräumig. Leider sind die Zimmer auf der ersten Etage jedoch etwas hellhörig, also man hört die Schritte von den Bewohnern des Zimmers darüber. Wer eine etwas andere Unterkunft sucht, ist hier richtig, weil die Kirche wirklich schön ist und auch die Idee ist gut, Zimmer in eine alte Kirche zu machen. Jedoch wäre bei der Umsetzung zumindest eine Tageslichtlampe ratsam gewesen, auch wenn die Klimaanlage gut funktioniert. Das Klientel ist eher etwas gediegener, nicht unbedingt etwas für junge Paare oder Familien mit kleineren Kindern. Die Lage ist jedoch super, direkt in der City von Hoorn. Frühstück ist ganz in Ordnung, jedoch vom Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, wie auch die Zimmer, nicht so ganz gerechtfertigt. So gibt es bspw. keine Brötchen oder Toast, sondern nur Brot zum selbst abschneiden.

Lovely hotel and very quirky. The beds were excellent and all staff were outstanding and friendly. Negatives were lighting in the room was to dark when getting ready to go out and do make up plus no full length mirror.

This is a usual review. I had a small cough traveling to and checking into the hotel. About 3 hours later, I became really sick. Confusion, trembling and a mild fever. I checked online and was probably either the flu or COVID. I put on my mask and told them I felt sick and to bring me breakfast outside the door. I got some food and a COVID test kit. It was positive so I spent the next few days in my room. I felt better in a few days. The room was neat and clean but there were no exterior windows and the room was rather small. The staff were nice and did what they could to help me out. So I had several days in an interior room with nothing to do. Kind of a bummer but the hotel’s fault.

Hôtel design. Une belle idée d’architecte. Le problème c’est que l’accueil n’est pas à la hauteur. Pas de lobby chaleureux. On vous demande vos papiers à l’arrivée comme au poste de police. Et le reste du séjour vous êtes anonyme ! Nous ne reviendrons pas.

Wir haben ohne Anfrage ein Update von Comfort- auf Deluxe-Zimmer erhalten. Außergewöhnliches, schönes, stilvolles Ambiente im gesamten Hotel und im Zimmer, bequeme Betten, mit ausreichend großer und sauberer Dusche. Es besteht die Möglichkeit Tee- oder Kaffee zuzubereiten. Auch das Frühstück bot eine Vielzahl von Auswahl beim Buffet. Personal war aufmerksam, aber nicht aufdringlich.

Geweldig Hotel! Van buiten niet te zien dat er in de kerk een hotel zit. Je moet het een keer gezien hebben. Het ligt ook heerlijk in het centrum van Hoorn.

Vriendelijke medewerkers en super mooie locatie! Op loopafstand bij musea, winkels, restaurants. Aanrader.

Het is een prachtig hotel! Heel indrukwekkend om in een kerk te kunnen slapen. Hoorn is een mooie stad en de kerk ligt midden in het centrum, waardoor alles op loopafstand ligt. We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad!

Bequemes Bett und sehr gutes Frühstück

Prachtige lokatie. Onwijs fijne kamer, verrukkelijk kingsize bed. Zalig bad. En het ontbijt was Fenomenaal. Wat een Goddelijke plek. Ontzettend genoten

Alles in einem eine sehr schöne Unterkunft. Einziges Manko: Das Frühstück! Es ist mit dem Standard des Hotels nicht zu vergleichen. Sparsame Aufschnittauslage und die Getränke werden bis auf Apfel und Orangensaft nur auf Bestellung serviert.

Das Frühstück entspricht höchstens einem 2-3 Sterne Hotel. An Gemüse gibt es lediglich Tomaten und Gurke. Der Aufschnitt lässt zu wünschen übrig. Weder Weichkäse noch Lachs. Kaffee sehr klein und nur auf Bestellung. Das kann unter Umständen etwas länger dauern, wenn mehrere Gäste von einer Servicekraft bedient werden. Ansonsten ein sehr ruhiges Hotel mit geschmackvoller Einrichtung.
