Exceptional Service and an Unforgettable Stay – Truly Among the Best We’ve Ever Experienced We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Garza Blanca Puerto Vallarta – truly one of the best resort experiences we’ve ever had. We travel extensively, typically 40–60 days a year, and have stayed at many high-end resorts around the world. Even with that in mind, this stay stood out as something truly special. A heartfelt thank you to Darinka Peña Joya, who went above and beyond to make our visit unforgettable. From the moment we reached out before arrival, she handled every detail with care and professionalism — arranging our restaurant reservations, organizing a seamless early check-in, and upgrading us to a stunning two-bedroom beachfront suite. We were celebrating our two-year anniversary of living in Mexico, and thanks to Darinka and the team, it genuinely felt like a special occasion from start to finish. The resort itself is breathtaking, with incredible ocean views, outstanding food (Hiroshi and the Korean BBQ Fire Table were highlights!), and a perfect balance of relaxation and luxury. What truly sets Garza Blanca apart, however, is the level of service — thoughtful, personal, and consistently one step ahead. The room and the staff was absolutely amazing. I gave them a lower rating due to the concierge. You know going on vacation I want to relax not spend time hearing about a time share. I avoided the whole time share trap that is usually found at the airport and much to my disappointment I was met with it again at the hotel. The “concierge” was simply a staff member who’s sole focus was on having me and my husband sit through a time share presentation. When I politely declined I was met with the answer of “well your going to have breakfast anyway”. Which is correct, but I did not want to have breakfast with a staff member trying to sell me something. They tried to get you to come with “deals” on excursions which quite frankly where found for the same price online, as the supposed deal you get for sitting through a presentation. I voiced several times my lack of interest in this and did not get the lady to leave us alone until I gave her $20. Which is fine money is not an issue. I simply wanted to enjoy my vacation and time with my husband. This experience however led to just awkward run in’s with concierge in the lobby and just an overall really bad start to a vacation that would have otherwise been lovely.

This was the most beautiful hotel resort that I have ever stayed at. We can’t wait to come back again. All the employees were very nice, helpful, polite, kind, and funny. The room was spectacular. We had a junior suite with a hammock on a big balcony overlooking the ocean it was simply a magical vacation. Thank you Garza Blanca.
