Særdeles hyggeligt og originalt sted, der holder boutique hotel stilen hele vejen igennem også på det hyggelige værelse med hems (meget velegnet som familieværelse). Særdeles god morgenmad samt lækker libanesisk inspireret aftensmad i hotellets restaurant. Lidt hektisk omkring morgenbuffeten grundet hotellets indretning. Kvarteret emmer stadigvæk af et originalt, uspoleret stykke Berlin med masser af mennesker i gadebilledet og mange små, særligt mellemøstlige restauranter. Desværre synes afregningen med hotellet ikke at afspejle den af Hotels.com udlovede pris.

Room looked very nice. Everything was there as needed. Heater didn't work well in late November. Organization of the hotel meant you had to pass through several doors. Reception staff was great. Restaurant food was great.

Das Frühstück war doch sehr bescheiden für den Preis! Kaffeespezialitäten kosten extra. Die Betten waren extrem durchgelegen. Das personal war sehr nett und engagiert. Der Innenhof mit seinen Sitzgelegenheiten war sehr schön, störte aber nachts sehr bei relativ leisen Gesprächen.

It’s like a little soho in nyc. Loved the green philosophy at the hotel, upstairs guests should be reminded to keep windows shaded so room doesn’t overheat. Pls treat your cleaning staff better not once I saw a smile on their face nor welcomed the day appropriate greetings. Loved the breakfast buffet. I will definitely b back.

Super rum för familjer, trappa upp för ett etage med sängar för barnen. Hotellet ligger bara gångavstånd till allt man behöver. Vi tyckte standarden var riktigt bra för att vara så bra beläget i förhållande till pris. Åker vi till Berlin igen så blir detta ett förstahandsval. Resterande av faciliteterna höll också hög nivå, fräscht och modernt.

We (2 adults, 2 kids 10 and 12) had a great stay at Lulu Guldsmeden. Potsdamer Strasse is a nice road close to Potsdamer Platz, bus and U-bahn. We liked the 4-bed room with two beds at the Attic. Breakfast was not included, but worthy and a nice buffé with something for everyone. The daily clearing of the room was perfect! The staff is also always very helpful with a smile! It is quiet between the rooms and even though there were other children and School classes staying at the same time, we slept peacefully. They do not offer lunch or dinner, but has a good bar in the evenings. I like their sustainable touch and can regimens it!

Mooi en zeer proper hotel. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Kleine attenties tussen door wat het verblijf een extra touch gaf. Wij hadden een kamer voor vier. Zelf vonden we ze wat krap om er meerdere dagen te verblijven. Bagage kregen we moeilijk geplaatst voor vier.

Das Zimmer für 3 hatte zwar drei Schlafplätze, sonst kein Platz mehr um sich bewegen zu können, also das Zimmer und besonders Bad sind super klein und eng. Das Zimmer ist sehr dunkel, es ist viel zu wenig Beleuchtung vorhanden. Die Steckdose am Bett war ohne Funktion, das Personal hat darauf nicht reagiert. Die Handtücher hatten Löcher. Im Zimmer sind keine „extra“ vorhanden: kein Minibar, kein Wasserkocher. Sauber war es auch nicht, Staub und Haare lagen in den Ecken.

Veldig kult hotell, men manglet litt på full score i form av kaldt på badet (ingen oppvarming vi fant) og litt dårlig luftkondisjonering- kjentes fuktig ut på rommet lenge etter vi hadde dusjet til tross for at viften på badet stod på og døren var igjen. Savnet sitteplasser annet enn sengen og en stol da vi var en familie på fire. Renholdet var veldig bra. Lokalisasjon var bra hva gjelder enkelt å komme seg rundt med offentlig transport (bussen gikk rett utenfor hotellet) og det var flere gode restauranter i nærheten.

Det var så fint et værelse og alt var så fint i et skønt kvarter. Det eneste at nævne var at der var meget støj fra gaden hele natten ( men kvarteret er et kvarter med masser af natteliv.) der var slået en flise af badeværelse fliserne i kanten til brusebadet, så en skrabede foden godt og grundigt. Værelset var mindre i virkeligheden end man forestillede sig men super fint indrettet. Hemsen er til børn/ teenagere. En større person ligger ikke så godt deroppe hvis der er varmt. Til os var det perfekt med to børn centralt i Berlin.

Très joli hôtel, très belle décoration . Très propre. Seul souci le bruit quand la fenêtre est ouverte car la chambre donne sur la rue. Et comme il n’y a pas de climatisation, l’été ça doit être compliqué.. car le ventilateur au plafond ne doit pas suffire.

We stayed in a large room with the family directly over the street. There’s no air conditioning so we had to sleep with the windows open and it was the loudest experience of any city I’ve ever been to. Sirens, yelling, buses, traffic, at one point we heard a huge fight break out in the middle of the night and another night we heard someone in so much distress we thought they were being murdered. Did not sleep a wink and need a vacation after that vacation.
We stayed in a large room with the family directly over the street. Ett utmärkt hotell med mysigt rum med loft. Perfekt för barnbarnet. Gungan i rummet uppskattades. Frukosten var otroligt dyr så det blev frukost på ett ställe 50 meter bort. Trafiken var störande men det får man räkna med i en storstad.

Im Zimmer sind keine „extra“ vorhanden: kein Minibar, kein Wasserkocher. Sauber war es auch nicht, Staub und Haare lagen in den Ecken.

It’s like a little soho in nyc. Loved the green philosophy at the hotel, upstairs guests should be reminded to keep windows shaded so room doesn’t overheat. Pls treat your cleaning staff better not once I saw a smile on their face nor welcomed the day appropriate greetings. Loved the breakfast buffet. I will definitely b back.

We (2 adults, 2 kids 10 and 12) had a great stay at Lulu Guldsmeden. Potsdamer Strasse is a nice road close to Potsdamer Platz, bus and U-bahn. We liked the 4-bed room with two beds at the Attic. Breakfast was not included, but worthy and a nice buffé with something for everyone. The daily clearing of the room was perfect! The staff is also always very helpful with a smile! It is quiet between the rooms and even though there were other children and School classes staying at the same time, we slept peacefully. We stayed in a large room with the family directly over the street. There’s no air conditioning so we had to sleep with the windows open and it was the loudest experience of any city I’ve ever been to. Sirens, yelling, buses, traffic, at one point we heard a huge fight break out in the middle of the night and another night we heard someone in so much distress we thought they were being murdered. Did not sleep a wink and need a vacation after that vacation.

Super rum för familjer, trappa upp för ett etage med sängar för barnen. Hotellet ligger bara gångavstånd till allt man behöver. Vi tyckte standarden var riktigt bra för att vara så bra beläget i förhållande till pris. Åker vi till Berlin igen så blir detta ett förstahandsval. Resterande av faciliteterna höll också hög nivå, fräscht och modernt.

Det var så fint et værelse og alt var så fint i et skønt kvarter. Det eneste at nævne var at der var meget støj fra gaden hele natten ( men kvarteret er et kvarter med masser af natteliv.) der var slået en flise af badeværelse fliserne i kanten til brusebadet, så en skrabede foden godt og grundigt. Værelset var mindre i virkeligheden end man forestillede sig men super fint indrettet. Hemsen er til børn/ teenagere. En større person ligger ikke så godt deroppe hvis der er varmt. Til os var det perfekt med to børn centralt i Berlin.

Lulu Gulsmeden is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful but big city! The location is often too far out from most tourist attractions and there isn’t much shops etc on the same road. Staff were nice and friendly for the most part. Hotel was beautifully decorated and our family loft had a swing which was a nice surprise. I would stay here again!

Très joli hôtel, très belle décoration . Très propre. Seul souci le bruit quand la fenêtre est ouverte car la chambre donne sur la rue. Et comme il n’y a pas de climatisation, l’été ça doit être compliqué.. car le ventilateur au plafond ne doit pas suffire.

Importantly, beds were Comfortable and the rooms are laid out nicely however, I found for a room of 4 (attic room), the bathroom was really small, so much so, it was difficult to close the door once inside. Additionally, breakfast area was busy, not enough tables and chairs, we had to beg and borrow chairs. The hotel itself was well equipped in terms of keeping kids busy. Overall, it was a good experience for my children compared to places we usually stay at.

amazing hotel, beautiful and great location. Close to the metro from the airport and also the one that takes you to the east side. A few lovely cafes and brunch spots arround if you’re not wanting to travel far. ate in the hotel restaurant the first night and it was delicious and really well priced. Amazing no notes!!
