The apartment was clean and exactly how it was shown in photos.. Full marks on that.. There is no washing machine as seen in the photos.. The building is old and lift is very tiny and old.. it can take one person with 2 bags.. Location is great.. walking distance to Lipscani area..

Metropole Apartments in Bucharest’s Old Center had a pretty old looking urban exterior and lobby area, but the room itself was clean and very spacious with kitchen appliances and washer. There are no onsite hosts to meet and greet, one is provided codes to enter into the building and to their room. There are a couple of cafes nearby and not in a busy area.

The apartment is very clean and modern. Don’t let the austere look of the entryway door and the foyer disappoint you. The building also has an old elevator. But it works just fine. It has a good location to be able to walk to some of the old town, restaurants and attractions. It has a lovely living room and table. And a very spacious bedroom. My only recommendation to the owner would be to provide newer and thicker towels for bathing.

Wonderful apartment close to the old town. Instructions easy yo understand to gsin access. Suggest use lift to 3rd level if arriving after dark as automatic lighting can turn off.
