Très jolie chambre, tres propre et fonctionnelle. Présence d’un mini bar, pratique. Literie de qualité. Petite problème de luminosité tôt le matin, pas de volet sur certaines parties des fenêtres qui donnent sur l’extérieur et dans le couloir. Petit déjeuner minimaliste mais à le mérite d’être compris. Personnel tres froid, pas un mot!!!

Had difficulty booking in as no email received but host v helpful on the phone. Place to store bike safely, sea at the end of the road, warm rolls plus croissants for breakfast and easy to access city without the hassle of crowds. Plumbing a bit smelly but otherwise a v v comfortable status.

Excelente estadia. Quarto amplo, confortável, limpo. WC moderna Simpatia da proprietária/gerente Pequeno-almoço incluído na tarifa, com oferta limitada, mas bom, que incluiu sumo de laranja NATURAL. Zona segura (em frente tem uma esquadra da polícia). Recomendo!

It wasn’t even 8 a.m and people going up and down the staircase and preparing breakfast downstairs were so loud that it wasn’t possible to fall back asleep. Otherwise neat and comfortable

Overall is a fantastic guesthouse and breakfast is complete and abundant. Only thing is that I had to expressly request to change the towels after 3 days although they were clearly dirty. A 9/10! 👌

Very nice guesthouse. We feel good and very safe in it (i was alone and felt really confortable and in security). Rooms with lots of lights, high ceiling. Very close to the beach and the shopping street of Foz do Douro - very charming city! I would recommend ! One thing that coule be improved : i would have liked to have a human contact with the guesthouse owner/manager. This is missing. Would have liked to get recommendations from that person, and a human welcome.

Konnten nicht einchecken. Die Rezeption war nicht belegt. Das Gebäude war verschlossen. Wir waren um 16uhr, um 17uhr und um 18uhr vor der Tür, es hat keiner geöffnet. Am Gebäude selbst ist auch einziger Hinweis, dass es sich um einen Hotelbetrieb handelt.

Excellent place with very good prices for area. Irina who prepares the breakfast is fantastic and she entertained my baby every morning. Make sure that you message in advance for door code as this is not a 24/7 hotel, it’s a guest house, so plan arrival accordingly.

The room was clean and the surrounding area was very nice. We had a great meal and nice walk on the pier. What was frustrating was 1) the communication with the owner. There was no return call on the AC probably because there wasn’t AC. This made it hard to sleep. 2) There could have been some finer points that would have made sleeping better. There was no sheet under the comforter, no second pillow to put between the legs and the rug next to the bed slipped every time you stepped on it (a safety hazard)! Breakfast was fine, but there was nobody to check us out, again the lack of communication.

Lovely stay, thank you, prefect location to the beach. There was a knack to opening the door so I called and owner immediately answered no problem. I got a text message that morning with the details for the stay, not an email so I think this could be why others have had a problem, may rely on roaming. The lady at breakfast was absolutely wonderful with my son. Obrigado.

The hotel was tidy and nice. Comunicating was horrofying. As it was a business trip, a receipt is nesecary, but without english speaking staff it was not possible to process on sight

No nos enviaron mensaje con contraseña acceso al edificio ni el número de habitación. Llamamos al teléfono de contacto durante media hora sin respuesta. Una vez recibido el mensaje, la habitación que nos indicaron ( segunda planta, n 21) estaba cerrada. Tuvimos que seguir esperando. Finalmente fuimos nosotros los que les indicamos que había una habitación con la llave puesta en la puerta (planta baja, n 1), y ahí nos mandaron ir. Por la mañana, la persona que estaba en los desayunos nos dijo que habíamos tenido suerte de que estuviera la habitación 1 libre. Que no sabía lo que había pasado.

I stayed for 4 nights. The place is well situated between the market and the ocean. It was like staying in a coastal village rather than in a big city. If you're walking the Camino de Santiago, then Foz is on your way to Santiago de Compestela!

Es war alles okay. Ich hatte das kleine Einzelzimmer. Bad war sehr klein aber für eine Person völlig ausreichend. Was nur ein wenig nervig war, war dass die Türe immer geklappert hat, wenn man das Fenster offen hatte. Aber ich habe einfach eine Tüte in den Schlitz gesteckt, dann ging es. Frühstück war einfach und stand schon auf dem Tisch bereit. Aber auch das völlig gereicht. Die Croissants waren super köstlich
