We’ve just arrived home after staying here and it was amazing! Everything about it was lovely. The grounds were well maintained and beautiful, the pool was great, the reception area was so beautifully decorated and clean, the location was great you could walk into Praia da Rocha which was around 15 minutes. Our deluxe apartment was spotless, very comfy bed and had everything you needed in the kitchen area. The staff were so friendly, accommodating and helpful throughout. I highly recommend Vista Marina. We cannot wait to return!

There was nothing I could fault with my stay here. Ideal location for both Portimao Centre and Praia da Rocha and within easy walking distance to both. Views across the Rio Arade to Ferragudo are breathtaking. The apartment was spacious, modern and clean. Pool area and gardens were beautiful and plenty of sunbeds and sunbathing areas. Staff were very helpful, polite and well spoken in different languages. Contemporary communal areas throughout and hopefully the bar and restaurant will be opening again soon. I will definitely return here after staying in several locations in the area this has been by far the best property!

Veldig bra beliggenhet, og hyggelig personale. Solsengene ved bassenget bør gås gjennom da de aller fleste er i dårlig forfatning (knekte rygger). Det er dårlige isolerte vinduer på soverom som gjør at man hører alt som foregår på utsiden, noe som trekker litt ned. Leiligheten var i seg selv veldig stor og fin, strålende fornøyd med den, og perfekt med kjøkken. Det eneste jeg savnet var stekeovn og en liten støvsuger til å kunne fjerne all sand etterhvert. Leiligheten ligger i kort avstand til strand, men også marinaen med restauranter og utesteder. Personalet er veldig hyggelig. Hvis du er en person som er tidlig våken så har du førsteklasses utsikt mot soloppgangen, anbefaler å få den med seg fra balkongen. Jeg kommer gjerne igjen!

Not as depicted, Pool was smaller and shallow so couldn’t swim properly, gym spa restaurant was all closed and not communicated after booking, my room was large but had maintained issues ie cooking hob missing switch’s and one hob didn’t work, shower extractor fan didn’t work so door had swollen, black mould on the silicone etc

Excellent Apartment, spacious and well equipped for a family of 4, all shared areas well kept and modern. Only minor criticism is that the indoor pool, spa, gym and bar were not open during our stay.

Correu bem, mas sendo a nossa segunda visita ao hotel, ficámos decepcionados por ter grande parte da area do hotel em manutenção. Não havia piscina interior, sauna, ginásio e nem bar/restaurante. A primeira estadia foi bem melhor do que esta.

Liked the spacious apartment with lovely balcony and lovely views. Staff were very friendly polite and helpful. Disappointed jacuzzi still not working and is still advertised as having one. Disappointed that sun loungers are not on balconies but plenty round pool area but no wee tables next to sun loungers. Miss the restaurant not being opened. Welcome pack would be a nice touch for late at night check ins.

A estadia foi ok, mas não é um hotel, e as informações não foram claras o suficiente sobre isso. Pelo valor cobrado poderia ter sido melhor. O quarto tem um bom tamanho para uma família, com cozinha quase completo (sem forno), limpo, ar condicionado, estacionamento incluso no subsolo, piscina externa aberta, piscina interna fechada (descobrimos quando chegamos), não havia serviço de café da manhã (também achei que esta informação não era suficientemente clara). O wifi também não funcionava direito, tive que usar meu celular para ter uma boa conexão interna. Entre 10 e 15 minutos a caminhar para a Praia da Rocha, onde também existem boas opções de restaurantes.

Booked this place based on it having a gym and indoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi etc. only to find out on the 1st day that these are closed indefinitely for refurbishing even though there’s no sign of building works ongoing and nothing mentioned on their website. Apartment was okay, shower head fell off the first night and door handle for bathroom the following night. Was a spacious and clean apartment to be fair. Location and view were good and nicely laid out garden/pool area. Would I recommend, yes if they sort their facilities.

Globalement, notre expérience au vista marina a été agréable. La chambre est spacieuse et confortable. La piscine est très propre et agréable, de plus l’accès à un stationnement sous terrain est un atout. Les points qui nous ont un peu dérangés sont le fait qu’il faut absolument payer pour tout… location de serviette pour la piscine, heure retardée de checkout et malgré le fait que la chambre possède lave vaisselle et laveuse pour linge, on ne fournit aucun savon. Les chambres ne sont pas systématiquement nettoyées et lorsque cela est fait, le lit est fait à moitié et il manque des serviettes par la suite. C’est ce qu’on a le plus déploré. Finalement, bien que le personnel soit très gentil et courtois, nous n’obtenions peu de réponses à nos questions et d’aide sur la vie autour de l’hôtel. Bien dommage.

Our stay overall was disappointing. This was because of a number of aspects. The first being that for the price, second the state of the apartment and third the sewer smell at the end of our stay. For the price that was asked (we could have stayed elsewhere cheaper), we expect at least an apartment that does not have any green mold on any of the fixtures in either the bathroom or kitchen. For the state of the apartment, you can clearly see that it has been used extensively and needs a renovation. The furniture is worn, the bed sounds and the balcony sliding door needs oiling. All-in-all a basic state of neglect. It was only during the night when we had to tend to the baby that we noticed the sewer smell within the apartment. We do not know where it came from but it was still there. Clearly there is a plumbing problem somewhere in the building, coming back to my previous point; I think that is due to overall state of the apartment.

Helpful staff . recently painted and kept clean but bins not emptied every day. Washing machine available but they have taken away the exterior dryer poles from balcony area which is a mistake. Still liked vista marina though!

Room was incredibly spacious, with a beautiful view, and quiet. The internal pool was excellent; we were surprised it was available at this property. Groceries are easily available within walking distance. This property makes me want to visit Portimão again by itself.

A estadia foi ok, mas não é um hotel, e as informações não foram claras o suficiente sobre isso. Pelo valor cobrado poderia ter sido melhor. O quarto tem um bom tamanho para uma família, com cozinha quase completo (sem forno), limpo, ar condicionado, estacionamento incluso no subsolo, piscina externa aberta, piscina interna fechada (descobrimos quando chegamos), não havia serviço de café da manhã (também achei que esta informação não era suficientemente clara). O wifi também não funcionava direito, tive que usar meu celular para ter uma boa conexão interna. Entre 10 e 15 minutos a caminhar para a Praia da Rocha, onde também existem boas opções de restaurantes.

We’ve just arrived home after staying here and it was amazing! Everything about it was lovely. The grounds were well maintained and beautiful, the pool was great, the reception area was so beautifully decorated and clean, the location was great you could walk into Praia da Rocha which was around 15 minutes. Our deluxe apartment was spotless, very comfy bed and had everything you needed in the kitchen area. The staff were so friendly, accommodating and helpful throughout. I highly recommend Vista Marina. We cannot wait to return!

There was nothing I could fault with my stay here. Ideal location for both Portimao Centre and Praia da Rocha and within easy walking distance to both. Views across the Rio Arade to Ferragudo are breathtaking. The apartment was spacious, modern and clean. Pool area and gardens were beautiful and plenty of sunbeds and sunbathing areas. Staff were very helpful, polite and well spoken in different languages. Contemporary communal areas throughout and hopefully the bar and restaurant will be opening again soon. I will definitely return here after staying in several locations in the area this has been by far the best property!

Globalement, notre expérience au vista marina a été agréable. La chambre est spacieuse et confortable. La piscine est très propre et agréable, de plus l’accès à un stationnement sous terrain est un atout. Les points qui nous ont un peu dérangés sont le fait qu’il faut absolument payer pour tout… location de serviette pour la piscine, heure retardée de checkout et malgré le fait que la chambre possède lave vaisselle et laveuse pour linge, on ne fournit aucun savon. Les chambres ne sont pas systématiquement nettoyées et lorsque cela est fait, le lit est fait à moitié et il manque des serviettes par la suite. C’est ce qu’on a le plus déploré. Finalement, bien que le personnel soit très gentil et courtois, nous n’obtenions peu de réponses à nos questions et d’aide sur la vie autour de l’hôtel. Bien dommage.

I enjoyed my few days at vista marina. Our apartment was fantastic well equipped and clean. The pool was lovely, everything was walking distance and the staff were really helpful. I will definitely be back but for longer next time.

AVOID. The location and vibe of the place was pretty bad. The rooms were dated and depressing and the overall image of the hotel as conveyed in the listing did not reflect the reality at all. The decor is mid 2000s and the lighting resembled that of a public toilet replete with buzzing fluorescent bulbs. We checked out after just one night of a three night booking because it was so miserable but sadly we were unable to get a refund despite raising this with the hotel and Hotels.com. Very very disappointing.

Veldig bra beliggenhet, og hyggelig personale. Solsengene ved bassenget bør gås gjennom da de aller fleste er i dårlig forfatning (knekte rygger). Det er dårlige isolerte vinduer på soverom som gjør at man hører alt som foregår på utsiden, noe som trekker litt ned. Leiligheten var i seg selv veldig stor og fin, strålende fornøyd med den, og perfekt med kjøkken. Det eneste jeg savnet var stekeovn og en liten støvsuger til å kunne fjerne all sand etterhvert. Leiligheten ligger i kort avstand til strand, men også marinaen med restauranter og utesteder. Personalet er veldig hyggelig. Hvis du er en person som er tidlig våken så har du førsteklasses utsikt mot soloppgangen, anbefaler å få den med seg fra balkongen. Jeg kommer gjerne igjen!

Not as depicted, Pool was smaller and shallow so couldn’t swim properly, gym spa restaurant was all closed and not communicated after booking, my room was large but had maintained issues ie cooking hob missing switch’s and one hob didn’t work, shower extractor fan didn’t work so door had swollen, black mould on the silicone etc

Correu bem, mas sendo a nossa segunda visita ao hotel, ficámos decepcionados por ter grande parte da area do hotel em manutenção. Não havia piscina interior, sauna, ginásio e nem bar/restaurante. A primeira estadia foi bem melhor do que esta.

Liked the spacious apartment with lovely balcony and lovely views. Staff were very friendly polite and helpful. Disappointed jacuzzi still not working and is still advertised as having one. Disappointed that sun loungers are not on balconies but plenty round pool area but no wee tables next to sun loungers. Miss the restaurant not being opened. Welcome pack would be a nice touch for late at night check ins.
