Holiday Inn Express Cheektowaga North East by IHG

This is a really nice Holiday Inn. Breakfast was delicious, nice pool, easy to get back on the road for a road trip.

Larger rooms than expected. Location is great, lots of shopping but set back off busy road so quiet. Like that full service restaurant very short walk from hotel. Recently installed EV chargers.

Hotel staff were friendly. Hotel was clean and quiet in the evening. Good location. Continental breakfast was good, dining area kept clean and replenished quickly. Pool area was nice. Beds were comfortable. I liked the soap and shampoo dispensers. Hotel snack area had alot of snack options.

The phone did not work in my room. Only one towel in the room. Had to use my cell phone to call the hotel. When i asked the front desk to send up 2 towels i was told house cleaning did not start until 9am. I was then asked to come and get them myself. I asked them again to make an effort when they could. Only one elevator working. Mattresses piled up near the elevator on the 4th floor. Very poor water pressure in the shower.

Plenty of parking

Over all it was a wonderful place, but few things need to improve! 1) hot water pressure wasn’t good, 2) toilet wasn’t able to flush properly 3) The pool was down.

Breakfast was amazing. Rooms were quite nice as well. Parking was great. Conveniently located. Could provide more towels in the pool and a safe for storing valuables in the room.

I enjoyed my stay and will be back. Breakfast, indoor pool, weight room and laundry room is included. The room and facility are very clean. Staff are polite. The Walden Galleria Mall isn't far from the hotel. There are plenty of food options and stores in Cheektowaga. This was my first time here and I'll be back !

I have been staying in quite a few hotels recently for personal travel, and this establishment in Buffalo was BY FAR the nicest (and cheapest!) option. The room was clean and well-stocked with Dove toiletry products. The mattresses had bedbug covers on them (something I have not seen at any other hotels in recent days), and the staff was warm and welcoming. There were elevators for accessibility, and the free self-parking was super convenient and literally two minutes from Interstate 90 (this did not affect how quiet the hotel is). Also, the free breakfast is DELICIOUS with eggs, made-to-order pancakes on a really cool machine, and fresh fruit! It was a WONDERFUL stay, and we shall be back! :)

Facilities indoors are fine. But icy parking lot should have been salted.

Hair on the shower walls. Toilet was dirty. Hair in the bed. The bed was the hardest bed I’ve ever slept on and I did not enjoy it.

There was MOLD AND MILDEW IN THE SHOWER, ON THE SHOWER FLOOR AND ON THE BATHROKM CEILING. BED WAS HARD AND FIRE ALRM WOKE US UP FOR FALSE ALARM.

Generally dirty with lots of little things in disrepair - elevator button frame broken, floor tile cracked, dirty floors, walls dirty.

Our bathroom was gross. Boogers in the walls along with blood. The shower floor was dirty. The grout along the floor was crumbling. No attention to detail in the main area …. TV streaked, no plastic for easy cleaning in the converter tables needed to be cleaned Pool water was very cloudy and kids in it were yelling and throwing a ball Woken up from hockey being played in the hall

The room was clean, but the one lounge chair was broken. A nice walk in shower, but there was mold. This is the first time we have had issues with mold and something broken in a Holiday Inn Express.

This is my first review ever… the most dirty hotel I’ve ever seen and I travel from coast to coast for work. They NEVER wash anything. Hallways smell like baby powder. You can see hair grease running off the wall over the pillows, cups/hand marks on the grease on the night table and you feel it under your feet when walking. After asking for a second room that new room had literal feces in the toilet and when I flushed was clogged. I slept in my truck. Horrible experience.

Our room was dirty- the sheet had a stain - the shower floor had mold like stain- the carpet was dirty with stains

I overall had a great stay. The room was clean and updated nicely. I loved the shower! My only complaint is that the walls were super thin. I was woken up about 8 am by the guys next door talking and laughing super loud. That was my day to sleep in. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen because of the noise. Beyond that, it was to my standards and I would stay again, just not when I’m exhausted and looking for peace and quiet time.

The soundproofing isn’t very good. Uou can hear the person in the next room singing at midnight

This hotel was nice, rooms were very spacious a the carpet was a tad old but besides this the room was great and I would stay there again!

Lovely, firm and very comfortable king bed

The staff were very nice, however no quiet hours were enforced. There were about 8-12 girls running, jumping and cheering until well after midnight on the 2nd and 3rd floor. The walls and floors are paper thin so you hear every footstep--all...the...time. Even with the TV turned up you can hear the constant motion above you and out in the halls and adjacent rooms. If you need quiet for sleep then this is not the place for you. The pool is deep but small as is the fitness room.

The property’s staff was very nice, but the bed in room 204 was hard as a rock. It killed my back and my husband and I didn’t get much sleep because of it. The rooms are not insulated well for noise and you could hear people on the floor above you stomping around at all hours. It sounded like folks running and at times it sounded like people moving furniture above until well past midnight. While the room was quite spacious, as well as the bathroom which had been redone recently, the floor of the shower needs to be replaced as it was peeling as it looked like the glazing or the paint was peeling off which made you question how clean it was. Overall the hotel seemed clean enough and was your typical hotel, but we will not stay there again. I’m exhausted due to no sleep and my back is killing me due to the bed.

Have stayed here several times when in town. Rooms are clean and the hotel is close to a lot. Only complaint was we were on the second floor and the room above us was crazy loud. Sounded like they were going to come through the ceiling. Called the front desk but noise continued. Didn’t sleep very much. 😕

Great stay. Only thing walls paper thin. Heard everything and doors slam closed. No soft closing so makes lots of noise

Good place to spend night. Mattresses need replacement. One sofa chair was broken.

Front desk clerk charged me twice for incidentals. I realize it comes off my account, but the issue is he yelled across the lobby full of people as I was walking to my room “Hey, your credit card did not get approved”. I then told him I saw the “Approved” on the card scanner, but he refused to believe me.

Clean & very comfortable. Front desk Staff was very helpful—had booked my stay on hotels.com the night before arrival, but hotel itself had no record of my booking it. Young man checking us in remained calm and reassuring, and spent 10 mins getting to the bottom of it all and delivered!

Was excellent. We had a large block of rooms and front desk staff had all keys ready when we arrived. Check-in was super smooth.

Hotel, Breakfast, Pool was all Great. The check-in Person was very unfriendly and not motivated at all. The check-out Person and breakfast personell was great.

Dishon was very helpful, friendly and courteous. I will definitely book again. Property was clean, smells nice. No hassle parking was great. No extra fees.

We have had the need to travel to Buffalo several times. Downtown has the virtue of being within walking distance of our venue, however this location was only 10 minutes drive, and was surrounded by suburban shopping and dining. Thus, we will be staying in Cheektowaga again next time we are in Buffalo.

Good location right off the highway. About a 20 min drive to highmark stadium with heavy traffic. Clean hotel and the area was safe and close to many things like food and shopping

Great location off highway and near Niagara Falls. Quick check in, helpful staff, clean rooms, wonderful breakfast.

Went up for the Buffalo Bills game, it was conveniently located right off the highway. Main reason I stay here is for the cinnamon rolls on the morning, they’re the best. Also the price is always good.

I did not like your breakfast, you showed scrambled eggs and bacon in your photo review, however, you had processed eggs and some sort of processed sausages, which is wrong, and on top of that there was an employee standing in a corner arms folded looking intimidating as guess go about having breakfast, this should not be... I will not choose your hotel again and advise others not to choose your hotel unless you make changes....

Had an amazing 2 night stay here. This hotel was very clean, the room was spacious and cozy and the staff was friendly and helpful. We had a standard king room and it was clean, had great and cooling and heating options, there was a desk with a coffee makers and coffee and tea supplies, a mini fridge and a microwave (which was a bonus as it wasnt listed on the website). The bathroom was stocked with Dove shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and lotion. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. I read a review that mentioned to bring an HDMI cord to watch movies on the laptop to the tv which was a great tip. Wifi was great. The breakfast buffet was delcious with many options. It was slightly different each morning but had grilled hashbrowns/home fries, scrambled eggs/veggie omlette, bacon, toast, pork sausage, turkey sausage, a pancake machine that makes fresh pancakes in front of you, bagels, fresh fruit, oatmeal, chocolate and white milk, coffee, tea, juice machine with apple, orange and more. It was a big selection, you wont be disappointed. Thank you to Juanie who was working the breakfast area. She made sire everyone had everything they needed. Thank you to Troyce who checked us in and got us in a little early. Thank you to Dishon for helping us with a little late check out and thank you to Darnale for checking us out and helping carry our stuff to the vehicle. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone lookong for a hotel in the area.

Rooms weee clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were OK - needed a bit more variety and quicker replenishment at busy times. Front desk was receptive and pleasant. Clean throughout. Good value for the costs.
