We loved everything about it , location , clean , staff was awesome stuff was sent to wrong email but they got it all fixed & straightened out. Loved that we had a washer & dryer , especially with kiddos. Kids loved the pool & we all enjoyed the resterant next door Ted’s Bulletin it’s a must to eat there everything was delicious!! When we come back we will definitely stay here again.

Our stay at this property was good. We enjoyed the rooftop and pool a lot. The building and apartment was clean. We really enjoyed the dining options and stores nearby and having parking onsite. We would definitely book again in the future.

There is not a lot of personal to ask for information of what you need coming off a plane. Where is the nearest grocery store, kinds of restaurants near by, emergency hospital. There is someone at the front desk that is overwhelmed with daily mail packages. The pool was closed for 3 days of our 5 day stay. Boooo

As long as you are not confused about this being a hotel, then you are fine. We received clear instructions and the appartment was perfect for our family of 5. Kitchen could have a little few more utilities, but we managed anyhow. The pool area was nice with lifeguard, but without services. We bought a bottle of wine at the nearby CVS and enjoyed sitting on the rooftop with a perfect view to the Capitol.

Pros: -Close to the metro and supermarket. -Clean apt in well maintained building. -Excellent gym. Cons: -Be prepared to check in exactly at 4.00. -You will have to buy everything for the apt- (garbage bags, dish washing pods, salt etc.). They did leave one pod and one sachet for a load of laundry. No hand towels in the kitchen, or utensil to flip eggs. -The water pressure in the apt is awful, especially the shower. -The bracelets the management company left didn't work so we had to punch our numerical code in the elevator every time we used it. -Don't plan on using the pool on the weekend. No seats at all and it's super packed with people and their guests. The pool is small, but my 13-year-olds had a good time. Kids under 16 are not allowed to be left by themselves in the pool, so every time I had to use the restroom the kids had to get out. -I was given 3 towels for 3 people, and we had to use these for the pool too. Luckily, they were responsive to my e-mail and brought some more.

I had a wonderful stay at Revel. Beautiful property. I lived in the D.C. area for a whike and came back to visit and stayed here... Beautiful time. The rooftop pool and lounge.. My gosh... Blessed.

Overall a great place to stay. Great location and building. Unit is nice but aging and water pressure in bathroom is weak. Garage parking in the building is not "in and out." You have to pay each time you leave. There is a cheaper lot around the corner where you may be able to do limited in and out for a few days.

Not sure how old is this location, but it seems to be bit rundown. The sofa was dirty and the floors in the 2nd bathroom is coming up. The building from outside and even in the lobby looks much newer and higher end, but the rooms deco was muncher lower end.

Setup of the buildings are super weird… two separate towers with a Marriott in between and you have to walk outside on the street to get from one tower to the other. Also the parking garage is a separate entity - $40 overnight and will cost you minimum $8 just to enter and exit - don’t go in if you need to leave soon. Only safe overnight parking available and should’ve been disclosed upfront that our stay was going to cost an extra $200 in parking fees for two days stay - would’ve chosen another booking had I known that upfront. Place appeared clean at first sight but the floors were DIRTY and the “clean” blanket in closet had spots and stains obviously not washed (it was gross to even think what was on that blanket). Two TV’s one remote with dead batteries and the other with none… that was fun having no TV’s working. Lady at the front desk was rather rude and zero help. Will not stay here again.

No water pressure in the shower. Floor was filthy. No black out shades. Towels had stains on them. Pool table in game room is falling apart. I reached out to hotel numerous times through email, messaging and through hotels.com customer service. No response or help.

It was an amazing stay! Very nice location, with kitchen facilities and necessary utensils (even blender, you can prepare your favourite smoothies!). The apartment is renovated and very clean. The staff at the reception is polite and helpful. There are, though, a few things I suggest: - have more stainless-steel pans - upgrade the bathroom showerhead for better pressure.

This is more of an Air B&B than hotel. Don't get your hopes up for hotel service! The room was clean and spacious. Appliances were ok. Nice washer and dryer. About 10 minutes to the Metro which was nice. Definitely not close enough to walk to the National Mall, museums. Harris Teeter is close to grab groceries. The beds are horrendous. Easily the worst I've slept on but the location and price of the property made up for it. Water took forever to get hot. Close to the Amtrak so you have to deal with that. Wi-Fi also terrible.

I was a little iffy on making the reservation and a bit nervous given some reviews. However, looking back on it, it was honestly a great experience. Perfect distance from Union Station (yes, you can hear the trains slightly at night but not nearly as bad as some would think). Grocery store right up the street, and the provided kitchen in the room was nice. Bed was a bit more firm than expected, but that's more a preference thing. I think the only real headache was figuring out the code system, namely as some other users have listed using the Latch app while others mentioned the keypad system. It's a bit more forgiving in terms of time than some make it seem, and easy to understand once you got the hang of it. Just a bit of a curve to get used to.

The unit was very clean and well maintained. The only issue we experienced were the conditions of the sleeping spaces. The main bed was disturbingly uncomfortable and with the slightest move it eluded to the potential of landing on the floor. The mattress was sunken in the middle. Leading to unfavorable sleep. The sofa bed was at a reverse incline, which was quite disturbing. Overall the place was very modern and accommodating. I just wish for better sleeping quarters and better functionality with the door access. It appeared several guest had access to an app for easy access to the building and unit however that option was never provided to us.

The modern design and overall location made my stay comfortable and convinient. Unfortunately, the shower did not work properly, the garbage disposal did not work, and there appeared to be crayon marks (possibly markings from a suitcase) on the wall. Overall however the apartment was very clean. Thank you.

Nice place. Furniture needs updating. The beds were very sub par for a LUXURY room. We had a 2 bedroom and both of the bedrooms had 2 single beds that were probably purchased at a discount furniture store. Not to mention the head boards on all the beds were just placed between the wall and the bed. Really not impressed at all. We will not be staying at any of their properties again.

I liked everything about the property except for the subway noise. That noise runs all day and night every few minutes and it was difficult to sleep. The staff were great, very helpful and accomodating. The location is good with the exception of the train.

I had an amazing stay at Revel. The room was awesome and the facilities were second to none! Having a 24 hour gym and long hours for the pool provided everything i needed. As great as the room was it's the staff that will be the reason i return! Bryan often went far above and beyond to ensure that i wanted for nothing. I have never met a more competent service professional in all my years. He could run a site himself. Also, Bushra was a treat. Her follow thru helped add to my feeling like a very important customer. All in all the service and security was a 10 out of 10.

The main problem is that this is not even remotely like a hotel. There was no hint given during the booking that left me in a non-refundable committed state. The first clue that I got to the troubles I would have came when I got an email asking me to fill out forms and sign a contract. I booked while I was already travelling and there was no way I would be able to do anything with paper. ON the hpone they told me I could do it via my phone, so I started the process, but the interface was so clunky that I even contemplated that this might be a phishing scam. I had to pubit pictures of the front and back of my credit card and my ID. When I arrived the building code device was not at all obvious-- I got help from another resident. The room code did not work at all. I called for help, but was told to "go to the third floor to get help from onsite staff", but there was no obvious counter or anything on the 3rd floor. I called again, and they told me to wait for a callback. So I'm standing in a random hallway with all my bags with occasional residents walking by who appeared totally unsurprised to see me stranded there. I called back after 9 minutes of this and was scolded for calling back after just 2 minutes. Finally they told me the room number I was to approach. When I arrived there they told me to "take a seat", evidently because getting me into my room was a project. I'm out of space, and only 50% of the way through my story. You get the idea.

the check in process was a nightmare. I asked for access to the garage. The gate wasn't open and no one would help me. All of the parts of the building require an access code and there isn't cell signal or wifi in the basement which mean if you forgot the code or don't have your phone your stuck. What a stupid system. I was supposed to get a key fob. That never happened

The property is my #1 choice when I have business in DC however the unit I was staying in this time was missing a remote in the room which I had to contact Ms Bushra who definitely was of help even though it was her day off!!! She is a very nice and responsive person that always check to make sure everything is fine. There was also an issue with the sofa that I reported to her as well

TERRIBLE SERVICE, door code didn’t work that was given to me and took over an hour to get into room. Room was not as advertised with king bed and I slept on a toddlers double bed instead… would NEVER STAY HERE. The person who got us into our room was miserable and rude to put the cherry on top. Complete joke

It is very near Union Station. The room was very nice, very clean and comfortable. The staff was amazing. The concierge was very helpful. The only drawback that I would say is they need to give more time to the entry lock, every time we used it, it would time out and we would have to start over. All in all a 9.2

This is the second summer I stayed here. I am put on a higher floor from last year. Better views. The apt was wonderful as usual. I love everything about it. The location is so close to many convenient locations- supermarkets, pharmacy, food, Metro, etc. what else can I say? I am coming back next year, again!

I really enjoyed my stay at Capitol Hill. The instructions were easily shared beforehand, making the check-in easy. The codes were delivered before I landed and arrived. The building was kept clean and had all the amenities you could want, including a really beautiful full gym. The property was very secure during my entire stay, and there were tons of restaurants to eat at and a train stop nearby.

This is was an amazing experience, there are lots of reviews about miscommunication but all you have to do is call the customer service number they leave on your email, tell them what you need and it gets delivered the next day, the reason it takes long is because it’s an apartment building so not as traditional. Regardless it was a beautiful stay, amazing balcony and modern room, for an amazing price, everything was close and there was a restaurant called Ted’s Bulletin that was amazing right under the building, roof top pool was beautiful with nice scenery and as long as you had your access code you were good to go, only thing you have to plan in advanced is parking in a lot. Definitely will be going again!
