Digital check in went well. The room is small however the bathroom is quite large. The only issue I have is that the shuttle service provided is misleading as I thought it was included. The up charge to have the hotel book shuttle service is high so I booked thru Uber which was quite a bit cheaper.

The hotel was very clean and convenient if you are cruising. They offer paid shuttle service at a competitive price. Luca was fabulous, great communication via email and text, knowledgeable about the area, friendly and accommodating. He arranged last minute car service from the cruise port to the hotel for my family. His customer service exceeded our expectations. The housekeeping staff and shuttle driver were very friendly as well. Cookies offered in the reception area were yummy! If we make it back to Civitavecchia, Hotel Smart Cruise is our hotel of choice.

This was a E-Check kind of hotel. You are given a code and it gets you into the hotel and also your room. Room was very clean, beds were comfy and the air conditioner worked wonderfully! Which was important as it was 100 outside! Staff came the next day and they were very helpful with phone adapters and more. Coffee was provided but no breakfast. Perfect location for our cruise!

This is the perfect place to stay before a cruise! The mini bar was loaded with complimentary snacks and wine and cheese and fruit. We had just spent hours on a train getting there and this was so welcoming! The place is immaculate and the bed very comfortable. Luca was an amazing host.

HSC met every expectation. The shuttle we arranged with them was on time, in good repair and convenient. The room was exceptionally clean, the bed/bedding was/were comfortable and the bathroom was clean and well-appointed. It was literally less than a block from the entrance to the cruise port (we walked with our luggage to board our ship). There were restaurants nearby, and shopping areas as well. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. Many thanks to the owner and manager - they made the beginning of our trip comfortable and easy. 5 stars.

Our room was ready 2 hours prior check in. Room has all necessities.. bed is very comfortable and sheets are crispy clean. Just few minutes from cruise ships terminal. Manager is very friendly and helpful.

We stayed here one night prior to a cruise. The hotel was very clean & has been recently remodeled. Lovely bathroom, very comfortable bed. The staff are all very friendly & helpful. John directed us to a restaurant 1 block away. Delicious pizza & pasta. Easy walking distance to the free shuttle to the cruise port. Excellent experience. I would definitely stay here again when cruising out of Civitavecchia

The property is maintained as brand new. The room was spotless, the shower and bathroom area very spacious and very clean. The fellows attending to the hotel are friendly and caring. The hotel is also only a three-minute walk to the cruise shuttle bus area. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Smart Cruise. We were greeted by John who was extremely friendly and very attentive. He explained how everything worked and was able to provide eating and shopping suggestions to our party. Room was great. Clean and AC worked great. Very convenient to the cruise port as well. Hotel offered shuttle and took care of our bags. I highly recommend this hotel. A++

Super friendly, super clean, rooms are very very small, I guess this is common for Italy, I thought we were getting king beds and they were queens which was tough for 4 adults and 7 suitcases! Would stay again, conveniently located

This hotel Is perfect for taking a cruise. It is a 2 minute walk to the cruise port entrance. Luca greeted us when we checked in and arranged dinner reservations and was there to say goodbye in the morning. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, new, and comfortable. A/C works great! Highly recommend staying here.

Awesome place to stay for any cruiser. Just steps from check in point. Super modern and pleasing decor. Large shower. Everything worked well including powerful A/C! Staff was wonderful and super friendly. Even printed my luggage tags in preparation for boarding ship. Very walkable to ships & restaurants. Will always choose to stay here when cruising out of Civitavecchia!!

Highly recommend Hotel Smart Cruise. Luca was extremely diligent in making sure we were well taken care of. Hotel was immaculate. It is close to port and less than one block from where the shuttle bus picks you up to take you to the port. They also have a shuttle service to pick you up at the airport. Excellent service. Highly recommend.

Upon arrival Thomas welcomed us and provided info about when room would be ready and stored our luggage. As promised he called to let me know when when was ready as we were out exploring. This is a no frills hotel but the cleanliness and service is 5 star! Later, Luka walked us to a restaurant he recommended for dinner. Very nice stay, especially for overnite waiting for cruise. The free shuttle to cruise port is about a 2 minute walk! Very accessible. I highly recommend Hotel Smart Cruise!!!!

Wonderful customer service! The hotel was so helpful to schedule a taxi to pick us up at the train station and waited as we were later than originally planned. John assisted us with our bags and made sure we got settled in ok. Have stayed here before and would choose this property again . Highly recommend

Located right near the port! Staff was excellent! I want to mention that John and a female staff member (so sorry we forgot her name!) quickly resolve the devasting problem when someone accidently took our garment bag (it had our attire for a wedding were going to attend after the cruise) to their cruise ship while we were having lunch and waiting for our room to be prepared for check-in. Fortunately, they were able to get to the port and retrieve our garment bag which now included a bottle of prosecco!

I love the location. If you are leaving on a cruise and coming in a day early, this is a perfect location. The cruise port is down the street, maybe a 5 minute walk. We just rolled our suitcases there, hopped on the bus and to the ship. The town is small, we enjoyed exploring and eating. The food was delicious. If you go, make sure your phone works, ours didn’t, so you can use it translate. Our next cruise, if we leave from there, we will be staying there. Oh, they also had a shuttle pick us up, for a charge.

I was just looking for a place to stay by cruise port. This hotel was great. Clean, great rooms and very good service. A two minute walk to cruise terminal shuttles. 20 minute flat walk from train station. Close to food and everything else. Really a great accomodation. Just perfect.

The property is maintained as brand new. The room was spotless, the shower and bathroom area very spacious and very clean. The fellows attending to the hotel are friendly and caring. The hotel is also only a three-minute walk to the cruise shuttle bus area. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was very clean and convenient if you are cruising. They offer paid shuttle service at a competitive price. Luca was fabulous, great communication via email and text, knowledgeable about the area, friendly and accommodating. He arranged last minute car service from the cruise port to the hotel for my family. His customer service exceeded our expectations. The housekeeping staff and shuttle driver were very friendly as well. Cookies offered in the reception area were yummy! If we make it back to Civitavecchia, Hotel Smart Cruise is our hotel of choice.

We had lots of communication prior to check in. I appreciate that. We contacted the front desk and they took care of the food under the bed. The biggest problem was the air conditioner was locked and our room was an oven. We sweat all night and couldn’t sleep well as a result. Breakfast was lovely. Simple but did the job. Workers were kind and helpful.

This is the perfect place to stay before a cruise! The mini bar was loaded with complimentary snacks and wine and cheese and fruit. We had just spent hours on a train getting there and this was so welcoming! The place is immaculate and the bed very comfortable. Luca was an amazing host.

Stayed here the night before our cruise. Small but all we needed! Super comfy bed, convenient access to shops, restaurants, etc , 10-15min walking distance. Luca was super friendly and made our stay that much better. Thanks so much, definitely recommend this hotel!

John directed us to a restaurant 1 block away. Delicious pizza & pasta. Easy walking distance to the free shuttle to the cruise port. Excellent experience. This works only for a cruise, lousy pillows, bed hard. Come late and leave early. We wished we would have just stayed in Rome and come in the morning. We hired these people as well to transfer 5 of us from Rome to the hotel, driver was 40 minutes late.
