BessaHotel was an excellent choice for our week long stay in Lisboa. The hotel's location is perfect, with a very walkable, interesting neighborhood and easy access to public transportation. The room was very nice--no complaints at all, though the floor of the shower is slippery. A mat is provided, but it's in a plastic bag in the closet where you're likely to overlook it. The pool is small, but there's a nice outside area with plenty of seating, and the restaurant and bar were both quite good. The breakfasts in particular are excellent, and the hours for breakfast (7:00-11:00 daily) are generous and welcome. The very best thing about the hotel was the friendly, helpful staff, who felt like friends by the time we left.
