Lovely, warm and atmospheric place. I felt comfortable in the charming environment but, on a practical level, my room had a rather pungent chemical cleaner smell that didn’t go away. As others have mentioned, the shower I used (shared bathroom) had little pressure and, I’m loath to say, did not have a clean floor. The rest of the communal bathroom was very clean. My other gripe was the balcony in the front … my room was off this and, despite the 9pm, curfew on the balcony, people were chatting there way after that time. Perhaps it could be closed off? But it’s a unique place, the staff were lovely, and the location fabulous.

We were given a complementary upgrade to a room with an Ocean view (and larger bed). Brilliant spot for the night! Clean, friendly, central location and a perfect guest house.

Circa 1902 is the most delightful place to stay in Queenscliff! The room was clean and most attractive. The contact there with whom I dealt (Sally) was most welcoming and helpful - I couldn't have wished for better! I'll certainly return to Circa 1902 when I next stay again in Queenscliff.
