Nice clean property. Friendly staff. Clean room. Great place to stay for a visit to Moffett, USF or theme park. Parking was a bit tight but manageable. Didn’t realize small charge for parking but reasonable and I just missed it in notes.

Staff was really good; but many cosmetic issues, our toilet seat was broken. Very noisy at night. Bathroom was really old, needed a fresh up. Hallway rugs were old, torn and smelled. The outdoor pool could use more lounge chairs - only 2 from the 80’s, and the pool area could use some vegetation!

Cockroach was in the bathroom and fruit flies were all over the room. Gym was disappointing, some dumbbells and a few cardio machines. Here and there in the hotel including the room was just not the cleanest. Floors and walls are so thin anyone talking or walking sounds like they are in the same room.

The hotel was nice. We arrived about 8:30 at night. The desk clerk was not at the desk and we waited about 10 mins before she came out of a back room. We ask about the “ restaurant “ which was advertised but is really a bar area in the lobby. She said it closed at 9. We took our suitcases to the room and came back about 5 mins later and it was closed. The desk clerk and the waitress at the restaurant the next morning were very friendly and helpful. We ate at the restaurant. The food was ok.

The staff was very nice, Gisele in particular. Property was decent and in an OK area. I was shocked that I was charged $10 for parking…seriously just up charge the night stay on the front end, bad look for Holiday Inn. The room was nice but the bathroom was awkward and dirty around the door and switch worn out switch panels. Probably will not be staying at Holiday Inn’s moving forward.

It was noisy. My feet were black from walking on the floor. Shower curtain was full of mildew stains. The young man checking me in not friendly. I recommend staying next door at the home2 suites instead of this holiday inn.

The room although appears nice at first glance was not clean. When I went to run a shower all black dirt rose up in the water disgusting. I cleaned the whole bathroom before I used it. The linens appeared fresh but had a peculiar order. The room was musty n needed a refresh.

I wish I had better things to say. The location of this hotel is ideal if you need to be close to USF. It has undergone a renovation, but is by no means a new hotel. The doors are not well insulated and you can hear everything. Every person in the hall, every door slam, every cart roll by, at all hours of the day and night. We could hear the people talking and walking in the room above us, and could even hear them rolling up and down their window shades. The bed was comfortable, and the room was well-cleaned, but then we saw a cockroach the morning we checked out. Our TV would turn on randomly all throughout the day and night, which someone clearly knew about as our tv was unplugged upon arrival. Would not stay again.

This hotel was surprisingly clean and the room was immaculate. The bed and the pillows were absolutely comfortable. The shower was amazing and the room was very spacious. The only thing that was missing was hot cups for the coffee in the room.

The lady who checked me in was so nice. She was trying to multi-task to check me in so that I did not have to wait but was also helping a customer on the phone asking a ton of questions. She made sure I had everything I needed. Also acknowledged me each time I came in and out. Loved the electric blinds in the room. Room set-up was a little strange as you could not open the room door of the bathroom door was open…they hit each other. Also my towel stand in the bathroom had black electric tape on each top leg/section. Seemed strange for a fairly new hotel.

It was ok. Nice and clean. Bed was comfy. The tv kept freezing up so it made it hard to watch a movie. Some of the furniture was broken. The one thing I really disliked was the water in our bathroom smelled like rotten eggs.

We spent 4 days here. The room and bathroom were very nice! Room comes with a microwave which is a major plus. Housekeeping came on time each day. The only problem is that the guy at the front desk gave us the room right next to the elevator, and the elevator was extremely noisy every time the doors opened and closed so this affected us and our sleep.

Let me just say the basics. It was a hotel that provided a room with hot water. None of this outweighs the paper thin walls that allowed you to hear rooms on both sides of you in it's entirety (conversations and bathroom)., The constant noise from the elevator was off the chart. There was actually so much noise I would have slept better in my car. The cleanliness was mediocre to the point that I cleaned the floor with a bath towel due to stickiness. Overall for $292 a night it was terrible. Next time I would stay further away from USF and just drive to my location. Never again.

Upon first entry, it seemed clean. Checked the bed sheets and everything was clean minus a pillow with a few tiny stains. Hardwood floors in the room were a new thing i have never experienced and hope i dont have to again. The people above us were stomping around until midnight. The bathroom was bot in the best condition. There was water damage on the baseboards and bottom of the door. Paint chips around the switch panel and door handles that were just painted over. Rust and holes around the shower/baseboards. Overall a decent place to stay for the price and for one night. Wouldn’t book again probably due to the noise level with the floors not being carpeted.

The staff at check in was helpful and friendly, at check out, they were occupied and distracted so not as friendly. The room was ok, however, the bathroom could have used a better cleaning. The room was located on the 1st floor and the noises in the hallway and from the ac in the room were jarring. Overall, we were there for less than 10 hours so it addressed the need but not a great experience.

We checked in as my husband was having cancer surgery the next day. We got our room number and went upstairs. We entered the room and it hadn’t been cleaned beds weren’t made. A maid was us and told us it wasn’t ready. She made a call and told us to go back downstairs. I asked her if my husband could sit there and wait for me as he was exhausted. She said no and he had to go back downstairs just to be told to go back upstairs to a new room.

Shortly before we checked in I received a call from mgr. I called back he was a bit rude because of a payment misunderstanding which was solved the moment I called them at which time he reprimanded me. Once we arrived everything was fine and the room was perfect. Upon check out a different desk agent gave me someone else’s folio which was a different price than my room so that was another wasted 10 minutes as we all tried to figure out why I was being over charged until my husband realized we were looking at someone else’s Room folio. Oh well, mistakes happen. Thankfully the room was clean, safe and comfortable which is what matters.

Melvin, and the team on reception were so helpful and friendly. Melvin was great and helped us out with buying tickets from Busch Gardens, we really appreciated him taking the time to help us. Thank you so much. The hotel room we stayed in was clean, large, lots of storage, comfy pillows and bed and great to have toiletries to use in the bathroom. Thanks for a great stay

I only gave 3 stars because the ppl at the front desk were really nice. I left my room around 9 am and when I got back around 3:30 my room still hadn’t been cleaned. The housekeeper was down the hall on the phone and I literally had to stop her and ask if my room had been serviced I figured maybe she skipped it. She said only towels and trash so I asked her for towels and to empty the trash she had an attitude no one wants to come back after being goin for hours and their room isn’t cleaned because the housekeeper is taking her time because she’s on the phone. If it was only towels and trash why would it take so long?! I left went and got food and she still had just moved down to one room. The hotel is close to Busch gardens and stores like target and Walmart I would only recommend to tell the front desk to service your room at a decent time so you won’t be disappointed

Problems w/discount @ check in. Finally spoke w/customer service over the phone. Was told I would get a resolved call. Did not. Quite noisey. Very close to high traveled roadway. Walls & floors in between echo noise w/in hotel. Requested 1st floor got 2nd. Lot of light in the room. Pull down shade not adequate to block the light. Will never book 3rd party hotel reservations again! Couldn’t even get paper/digital receipt @ check out!

The hotel was great. The rooms were well stocked. The bedding was comfortable. The pillows were great. Everything seem to be newer. However, The food set up was about the only bad thing. The quality was not the best however, the people that worked around the food were all excellent. There are plenty of restaurants around and this hotel is very very close to Busch Gardens and if you have to pay parking at Busch Gardens, I highly recommend that you just take an eight to $10 lift to there and back saves you money and time

Went for a concert at the Yuengling Center with my daughters. Staff was friendly, close to USF and mins away from venue. The neighborhood around the hotel was a little rough but felt safe even walking in from the parking lot at 1am. Everything was well lit and secure. We stopped at the little restaurant prior to heading to the concert. Give yourself extra time everything is made al a carte. We had the flatbread pizzas and they were made fresh and delicious. Plan on returning to this hotel when we go to Busch Gardens.

We had reservations for a king room. When we arrived we were given two queen beds. They did give us a voucher for breakfast because of the change. They said Expedia overbooked the king rooms. We arrived early, 3:30pm. Thinking HI is who overbooked and they blamed Expedia. Also the restaurant had only one person taking orders, cooking, and cleaning up. Needless to say it was very slow.

For the price and value the hotel was great. Although sometimes hard to find someone at the front desk. When we did, Alex was very helpful. I realize there is a staffing shortage but we were supposed to check in at 3pm and our room was not ready until after 4pm. This would not have been a problem but we were sitting there since Noon. You would think given the fact we were at the hotel, they would have done our rooms first. Alex handled it well even though things were out of his control. The breakfast was GREAT!! And the staff serving breakfast was super nice. Highly recommend for the price.
