Lovely bed and breakfast with a quirky edge to it. We booked 3 rooms and with the use of the communal sitting/breakfast area we felt like we had a whole house to ourselves. Comfortable beds, beautiful views and plentiful supplies with a vegan breakfast supplied. We felt rested and relaxed after a 2 night stay, Lynne was a fabulous attentive host preparing Chinese dumplings on our last morning and very welcoming and kind to our old dog. Highly recommended.

Amazing B&B, plenty of space in the family room, lovely meeting other guests. 5 minutes drive out of town, very quiet and peaceful location. Lovely breakfast as well which was a bonus! Would love to stay here again.

Lovely location, waking up and going to sleep to the sound of the waves and trees will be missed. Very quiet and great attentive service with breakfast and any concerns or ideas of where to go with kids when weather is not great, even able to charge my EV. Room has a cute electric heater that looks like a fireplace, fridge, spa, glasses, mugs, plates for small meals, night light in bathroom and parking space next to the room. Lovely family feel with pictures of family around the place including in the room. Improvements needed: floor boards broken so need to know which to not stand on, decking is a little wobbly which is concerning with children out there, if you don’t like shower/baths don’t request the romance room but lovely to bathe overlooking the forest/sea, bathroom is only suitable for one person and light takes a little to turn on, decore needs a bit fixing/updating/cleaning, driveway is connecting two/three other houses so is difficult waiting for others to use the same single road/driveway. Everything is drivable to not walkable to (up the mountain on edge of lakes entrance), communal kitchen is the owners kitchen so not really communal. Funky bed and breakfast with a nice view, rooms are quirky but clean and functional. Breakfast was nothing extraordinary, but filling and great to start the day exploring Lakes Entrance with a full belly. Overall, a nice change from the roadside motels we've been staying at, and the owner was very nice and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!

It's definitely "Rustic," The heating was somehow mismanaged and the entire place smelled of firewood... I felt like I was camping.... the smell and smoke was so bad, my eyes were burring and my clothes smelled of smoke in the morning. it was the worst sleep of my entire trip.

A rustic property as shown in the photos, but clean and comfortable. The hostess is friendly and charming….. and welcomed us with a free bottle of excellent local wine. All breakfasts are vegan which does not make any difference if eating continental. We went with the full eggs, bacon sausage (vegan substitutes) and it was delicious. A great place to relax and enjoy the view! Loved our stay!

An outstanding property! The penthouse is HUGE and fantastic value for money. I was very lucky to get it, as it is almost always booked out. Owner is a beautiful lady, who looks after the property and guests equally well. The breakfast was included, another tick. I don=t think I have ever had better value for money.

The view was nice ; the reviews containing. the word “quirky” certainly weren’t joking , the heater didn’t work properly and area to heat was huge as manly glass all around , , the “spa bath” / shower was the only place to shower (with out a curtain to avoid splashes )and situated in the middle of the room.:and wasn’t very inviting .: The “free continental breakfast “ was a bit of a joke and could hardly be called that , the free wifi did not work in our cabin ..maybe on a hot summers night it would feel better, the veranda not really safe for small children .: if it was cheaper you wouldn’t mind so much , but for $182 a night it seems disappointing ./ apart from the non working wifi it cleverly had everything it advertised , by it was deceptive as the facilities advertised usually are associated as luxury items like spa bath, and built up the expectations but the lay out and delivery of the promised items lead to disappointment :: ok for a quick stop over , but hardly the luxurious cabin you expect when booking it .

The room was cute with a wonderful view. The breakfast was very good. Great hospitality. The sink in the bathroom was a very small corner sink. Could use a shower curtain around tub, so water doesn't splash on the wood floor.

The stay and service at the Goat and Goose Bed and Breakfast was one of the best weekend aways my partner and I have had. The rooms are charming and comfortable, and the attention and kindness of the owner is something you won’t find even in a 5 star hotel. The hot breakfast cooked right next to you are delicious a filling. Could not recommend this place enough for your next getaway to Lakes Entrance

Amazing B&B, plenty of space in the family room, lovely meeting other guests. 5 minutes drive out of town, very quiet and peaceful location. Lovely breakfast as well which was a bonus! Would love to stay here again.

Herzlichen Dank für einen tollen Aufenthalt, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Das Haus ist individuell und persönlich ausgestattet, sehr gemütlich. Das Haus bzw. unser Zimmer gefiel uns besser als auf den Fotos. Man kann zu Fuß nach Lakes Entrance laufen, auch wenn wir beim nächsten Mal vermutlich das Auto nehmen würden. Alles in allem: Klare Empfehlung!

Lovely place to stay which is a short drive from the town centre. If you want to stay at a place that’s different to your average motel/hotel then this is the place for you & Lynn the host was lovely.

Lovely location, waking up and going to sleep to the sound of the waves and trees will be missed. Very quiet and great attentive service with breakfast and any concerns or ideas of where to go with kids when weather is not great, even able to charge my EV. Room has a cute electric heater that looks like a fireplace, fridge, spa, glasses, mugs, plates for small meals, night light in bathroom and parking space next to the room. Lovely family feel with pictures of family around the place including in the room. Improvements needed: floor boards broken so need to know which to not stand on, decking is a little wobbly which is concerning with children out there, if you don’t like shower/baths don’t request the romance room but lovely to bathe overlooking the forest/sea, bathroom is only suitable for one person and light takes a little to turn on, decore needs a bit fixing/updating/cleaning, driveway is connecting two/three other houses so is difficult waiting for others to use the same single road/driveway. Everything is drivable to not walkable to (up the mountain on edge of lakes entrance), communal kitchen is the owners kitchen so not really communal. Will visit again and would recommend this place for a nights stay or two. Lovely.

We loved the property. It’s very eclectic, so much character. We had a fab room with water views. We would have loved to stay longer. Jenny the host was very friendly and hospitable.

The Host of the house was fantastic & very friendly. The property in itself is a piece of art. Just staying in was an experience. Very comfy rooms & the ocean view from the top penthouse was just mesmerising. The host prepared an excellent breakfast with fresh fruits. Everything in this house was strictly vegan. Lots of colourful birds were visitors of this beautiful villa. The only advise is to keep your luggage light as there are only stairs to move up & down this property.

Smuk beliggenhed, smukt værelse. Det føltes som at bo i en film! Lynne var rigtig sød. Morgenmaden er vegansk, hvilket ikke er anført, så vidt jeg ved?? Men det var virkelig lækkert og friskt!

The stay and service at the Goat and Goose Bed and Breakfast was one of the best weekend aways my partner and I have had. The rooms are charming and comfortable, and the attention and kindness of the owner is something you won’t find even in a 5 star hotel. The hot breakfast cooked right next to you are delicious a filling. Could not recommend this place enough for your next getaway to Lakes Entrance

It is quirky to say the least. Very nice but quirky. Do not expect a “normal hotel decor “. There is a lot of individuality and personality. Great for vegans as the breakfast is Vegan but that means no butter, no milk, no yoghurt, no eggs. But as far as vegan food, it was good.

Staff was wonderful! The views are unbeatable! The large tub in our room was fantastic. The wifi didn't reach our room, not a deal breaker, but a little frustrating.
