Fairmont Mountain Bungalows

Very cute cabin, we were in #5. Bachelor style, tiny but big enough. Kitchenette, large shower, front porch seating area with pretty flower baskets and garden flowers. Bbq. Comfy bed, but pillows were pretty over stuffed and were personally uncomfortable. Hot tub and pool were nice and even had two resident adorable kitties. There’s a Thai kitchen eatery with seating on an outdoor patio. I didn’t eat there so couldn’t say what it was like. The office was not open very early, both days we stayed we left for the day around nine am and it was still shut closed. However the pool and hot tub were open at six thirty am when I got up so we had quiet early soaks which was nice. Girl at front desk when we checked in was pleasant. She mentioned pool closed at 10 pm. There’s a playground and playhouse for kids. Check out was easy, just locked door and put key in a box at their office door.

We could not have asked for a better place to call home for a few days in Fairmont. The hotel had a nice park that our Grandkids (5 and 3) really enjoyed. The cabin was cute and had everything we needed for a two day stay, Including our own bbq, great patio area and a really nice pool area.

We had a wonderful stay at the three-bedroom cabin! We saw plenty of deer and were even lucky enough to spot a moose family. The kids loved the park, and we really enjoyed being surrounded by nature. The pool could use a little maintenance and the hot tub jets weren’t working during our visit, but overall, we had a great time and truly enjoyed our stay.

These bungalows are so cute and homey and are in a lovely area. Our bungalow was a studio and didnt not have AC but it cooled down at night with the windows open. Friendly and accommodating staff. We enjoyed the on site pool and the hot tub. Definitely will be back. Thank you

If you are looking for a rustic, quiet, and accommodating stay, you’ve come to the right place. These cabins are full of everything you need and the property is super easy to get to. Amenities nicked a a pool, hot tub, games building for your kids and a playground. Local restaurants are just up the road, but the cabins have a bbq and kitchenette so you can eat in too! We cannot wait to come back!

Fun few days away for my besties birthday. Had stayed here previously with my husband and had a great time so didn’t hesitate to rebook for another visit! Was given an upgrade so stayed in the big three bedroom and loved the extra space! We loved the rustic cabin, the quiet wilderness atmosphere and of course the pool and hot tub were a bonus to the trip! Will definitely be back again!

The bungalow was cozy and clean however, the one that we got was on the highway and so it was noisy. The pool and hot tub were lovely that we could walk right up the driveway too.

Room had a strong musty smell. Left the windows open for two days but was still there. Some of the kitchen towels were stained. Otherwise the place was pretty decent. But for the price it was small and musty and had no storage at all.

My husband and I recently stayed at Fairmont Mountain Bungalows for three nights, and several aspects of our stay were disappointing. The cabin we rented was shabbier than expected. There was dog hair on the couch cover and bedspread, and the front door couldn’t be locked from the inside — we had to rely on the door chain at night. Locking it from the outside was also difficult; we had to pull hard on the door to get the lock to click properly. The window screens were poorly fitted, leaving gaps that let in mosquitoes. We had to keep the windows closed the entire time, which made the cabin stuffy and uncomfortable. Kitchen supplies were minimal and poor quality. There were no proper knives, just steak knives, and the only barbecue tool was a two-pronged fork. The toaster was broken and unsafe to use, and no tea towels were provided. The receptionist did give us a new toaster and some tea towels after we raised those issues. On our second evening, a lawn sprinkler was spraying the patio where we had planned to eat. I called reception three times between 6 and 7 p.m., but no one answered, and the voicemail was full. The heating only worked in the bedroom. We had to turn on a hot plate to try to warm the living room, which was not safe or practical. Finally, the swimming pool was dirty, with dead insects on the surface of the water. I emailed the owners two weeks ago and have received no reply. Even during our stay, they were unavailable. I would not recommend staying here.

Room was comfy and clean

Friendly lady upon check in, however the overall experience was quite negative. There was pet hair over our cabin, no way to block sunlight from pouring in all the windows first thing in the morning, no additional pillows or blankets in the cabin, coffee pot was dirty and appeared unwashed, woke up to mouse droppings over the kitchen and our belongings, no AC and no blinds made for some very poor sleeps for us and our son. There were bottles of water provided which was nice but noticed they are stored in direct sunlight in the back of the building.

Check-in was OK, all the people were friendly although not all were familiar with their software. The door was a little difficult to open with the key, but the inside was clean and nice looking. Although the bathroom is small it was very clean the small kitchen set up on table were as advertised and also very clean. Problem was bugs in the bed and on the floor around the bed. Although we don’t know what kind they were they said they had an issue with grass beetles. We thought they might be ticks and were concerned. Regardless, we left with a full and prompt refund supplied without any hassle.

The cabin we were assigned was "rustic" and upon arrival had not been cleaned. Although staff promptly cleaned the room, there was no offer of restitution for the inconvenience and waiting time.

Clean and comfy

The bungalow we stayed in was so spacious and it felt like a home away from home. The view from every room was beautiful, and the area was so quiet. We loved the double showers and the beds were super comfortable!

Nice little cabins. They are suffering some wear and tear, primarilly the rooves. I had to use a flshlight to see the microwave pannel and the toilet seat was loose, otherwise, it's a nice place to stay. The bathroom was nicely updated. The onsite restaurant was very good but pretty pricey.

We rented a 3 bedroom bungalow. It was spacious and very comfortable.

We stayed here 3 nights and found that it was reasonably clean but extremely dated.There was no room in tge bathroom dry haur and the shower whole warm was so low that I couldn't rinse my hair withiut bending down.During our stay houskeeping did not come to our room once.At over $200. per night,that should be a given..Resort has a ton of potential.

The bed was set against the wall without a table and there wasn’t much room in the bathroom. Also, the thermostat didn’t change the temperature, but maybe wasn’t set up for cold conditions yet. The pool and hot tub were close, but the latter needed cleaning as there was a lot of sediment on the bottom. The Thai restaurant served nice dishes and if you wanted alcohol beverages at the patio tables there you could bring your own as they weren’t licensed. Just happened that that was their last night on September 29. Overall a nice place to stay for a few nights.

The property is very dated and the pictures are not reflective of the condition of the units. The exterior is in poor repair and the interior, while clean, is simple sub par for the price, even at a huge discount I would not recommend this property. Floor was sloping, bathroom has a smell of sewage, mattress was very old as was the bedding and pillow cases. The cabin smelled from the fireplace. Ice in the fridge had been there so long it was crystallized to the point it appeared fuzzy. I would not recommend to anyone, not sure how it gets 10/10 ratings. Worst property I have even stayed in, should have listened to the poor reviews. It is a 1/10. Sorry but people need to be warned.

Tiny house was quaint, but no AC. Bed and building was not level. Poor pillows and heavy road noise during the night.

The cabin was very clean and as described, with a super comfy soft bed. Directly across the highway from the hot springs, which were super easy to get to! Jessica was accommodating to our late check-in by texting us the cabin we would be in, and was very friendly answering any questions we had.

We spent three nights in a one bedroom cabin and enjoyed every minute of our time. We were greeted warmly at check in and found our unit to be clean and comfortable. The basics (soap, shampoo, salt, pepper, sugar, tea and coffee) were provided. We loved the bbq! The hot tub and pool were a nice addition. We wish that we had been told about the boil water advisory when we were phoned to confirm or even at check in. It would've saved us a second trip to the grocery store. But other than that- it was great. Thanks

Excellent service during check in, amazing little cabins.

I knew this would be more of a “rustic” place to stay. Just was not aware of just how rustic it would be. The wood rot around the entire bungalow we were put in was a cause of concern, as were the crazy sloping floors. Only one window that could be opened because it had a screen on it, the rest appeared to be non functional or have any screens on them and the bugs were way too bad to open without them. Mind you they still found their way in through the very large space between the door and frame, it closed and held but “0” seal around the door. The final nail in this coffin was the notice we found around 10pm on the last night advising that they were on a “boil water” notice for guests. This was never mentioned when we checked in, and the slip of paper was no where near where the kitchen was, I found it on a small side table in a back corner of the living area. Now they have assured me that no one is going to get sick, “they” drink the water all the time, it is from the creek, I guess time will tell. I was really hoping this place would be a good get away option for us that we could return to with other family member, but I am thinking we are still going to be searching for that place in the Fairmont/Invermere area.

Nice simple accommodations. Owner was pleasant, accommodating, and the property overall was quiet and very clean.

We enjoyed the privacy of the bungalows set in the woods off the highway. A group of elk were munching just off the property as we entered. Embracing the beauty and access to pool, restaurants, and the convenience of a clean bed and safe space helped melt into nature and peace. Thanks!!

Easy access from highway

This is a great stay for dogs and their owners. It’s a large property in the woods with direct access to outdoors and no neighboring walls so pets won’t bark people up. Small kitchen and barbecue for every unit to make meals with no oven. Owners are busy upgrading so hopefully new mattresses?

It is pet friendly, the area is big and quiet. It is near to fairmont hot spring. Near to the grocery store, restaurant and downtown.

Clean and quiet bungalow. There is a restaurant on the premises if you want to eat on the grounds. There is AC in the main living room area but not in the bedrooms, but I didn't find that to be a problem. Very convenient location to go to Fairmont Hot Springs, Invermere or Radium Hot Springs

Super cozy, clean, rustically adorable cabin. Little kitchenette, living room area with real fireplace, little deck with chairs, umbrella and bbq. Just perfect. Really great pool and hot tub area walking distance from cabin with gorgeous mountain views. Wonderfully friendly people, happy family environment and an excellent Thai restaurant on site. Will definitely be back many times. Thank you!!!!

Nice and clean, quiet and very enjoyable. All kids would love the pool and playground. The on site Thai restaurant was also very good and convenient.

We stayed in cabin 45. What a quaint little cabin. Beautiful views of the mountains. AC or fireplace if needed. I loved the Thai restaurant on property. I will definitely return.

The bed was supportive yet soft. The cabin, dishes and linens were very clean. The pool was great, perfect temperature, well maintained, the change rooms were clean as well. Check-in and out was simple and quick. There are options for eating around, but they are limited and close at 9pm. We didn't try the Thai restaurant on site. All in all, a great relaxing stay.

Way over priced. They need to update linens, bedding, and should have a fan in the cabins. Place was clean but they need to do a deep clean. I wouldn’t go back due to the price which was $350 for one night.. then add on top expensive food at the this place. It’s convenient having Thai food right there, but $22 for spring rolls alone. Not worth it in my opinion.
