Put in a generator. I was here 15 minutes and the power went out for 18 hours. Night in the dark in my room. A multi billion dollar company Accor hasn’t got back up power on a large sight?

We had a little confusion when we booked in but the loveliest man - waiter - sorted it and made some calls. The room was spacious, clean and the most comfiest bed! Dinner in the restaurant was beautiful - so was wine! And dessert! Breakfast was great - the meals were quite large So definitely full. Gardens and area around was so beautiful - an events/ wedding venue- really lovely space and staff.

Heaps of undercover parking, and a special shoutout to the manager, who was absolutely amazing. The general vibe of the facility is bright and comforting. On a nice premises but rooms are getting a little tired. The showers in particular have mould buildup, and I’ve stayed in several different rooms in the past 4mths. Shower head is also uncomfortable and needs a modern version. Housekeeping standards varies and often there are stains left behind. An uplift of this property would make a huge difference. The bed is comfortable which keeps me coming back to this property vs others in the areas for my consideration.

The hotel entrance was a little difficult to find and when I got there 15 mins after the office hours, unexpectedly delayed by bad weather, the door was locked. Luckily a kitchen staff member saw me and told me I needed a code to open the lockbox, which I did not have because I did not plan to arrive after hours. He somehow opened the lockbox and retrieved my room key which had been stored here as I was late. After that, finding the correct parking area, which was a bit of a faff but got there in the end. The room itself was very clean and the bed comfortable. Although the room was for two people, there was only one desk chair and one chair for sitting by the coffee table. It would have been nice for us both to have a chair to relax in by the coffee table. There were no utensils at all for use in the room, just cups, tea, kettle etc. the Wi-Fi was very poor. Has to lurk in the entranceway by the door to the room to get any signal at all, and that was patchy. However for a one night stay it was fine.
