Restaurant closed until Noon. Soap dispenser out, lack of towels. Nice big comfortable beds. No ready available coffee available for guests, perhaps a coffee pot but there should be coffee if you offer a restaurant /bar. I chose this place for them having these amenities. Very clean tho….

The property is undergoing construction but it did not affect our stay at all. We were the only guests staying these two days and had the pool all to ourselves. The casita was very comfortable, however it lacks a closet in both bedrooms. There's no place to hang your clothes or drawers to put your clothes in. It wasn't too bad given we were only there for 2 days but should the stay be longer, I'd definitely need drawers and a rod to hand my clothes. The space is there, they just did not build a closet. Also, the couch in the living room is very elegant but not comfortable or inviting to watch T.V. Other than that, the casita was impeccable and nicely decorated/built. It was perfect for 4 adults. I would definitely stay there again for a short stay.

Not a big concern but there’s a construction around that makes feel like all property is under construction, recommend to isolate the construction side and limit the access only for the main office and rooms.

Las habitaciones son cómodas y espaciosas, y tienen todo lo necesario para una estancia agradable, el jardín y la alberca están excelentes. Es un lugar muy tranquilo justo para alejarse del ruido, relajarse y desconectarse de la ciudad. El restaurante dentro de la propiedad es elegante y con opciones.

Property needs more cleaning and attention to details lots of spider webs reserved two rooms and in one room the bed sheets were very stained looked gross and nasty lots of sewerage smell coming from kitchen and bathroom sink in both cabins other wise the location is great!!

We loved the property , room was beautiful very clean very spacious is what we really loved it has a really nice sitting area in the front patio, young lady at the reception area was very helpful everything is not to far from property .We will definitely be booking our future stays here .

La cabaña está amplia en general aunque el baño es bastante pequeño. Le falta mantenimiento, por ejemplo la puerta de acceso estaba zafada y costaba trabajo cerrarla y las cortinas estaban en mal estado. La cabaña estaba, en general, sucia y nos dejaron un solo rollo de baño (el cual se acabó muy rápido). También tuvimos un problema con el agua, ya que uno de los días no tuvimos agua ni en el lavabo, ni en la regadera. El problema se resolvió más tarde, después de hacer varias llamadas, ya que no había nadie en recepción. Y muy importante, no hacen servicio de limpieza en los cuartos, ya que ellos no se hacen responsables de las llaves de la cabaña.

Desde el momento en que llegamos, todo fue perfecto. El personal fue amable, atento y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. La habitación estaba impecable, muy cómoda y con todos los detalles cuidados. Las instalaciones del hotel superaron nuestras expectativas: piscina limpia, áreas comunes bien mantenidas y un ambiente muy agradable. La ubicación es excelente, cerca de todo y con fácil acceso. Sin duda, una estancia que repetiría y recomendaría al 100%.

I had an amazing stay at these cabins! Everything was spotless and well-maintained, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and the staff were extremely professional, attentive, and always ready to help. I truly felt welcomed and well taken care of. Highly recommend!

Cuando llegamos a la propiedad a hacer check in, no se encontraba la encargada, solo estaban unos trabajadores de un restaurante que están haciendo dentro del complejo, por lo que tuvo que salir a buscar a la encargada porque no lograba localizarla. Eso hizo la experiencia del check-in más tardada de lo habitual. Pagué al llegar pero no tenían cambio, así que me lo dieron al día siguiente que hice check-out. Las instalaciones son lindas, nuevas y bien ubicadas dependiendo a dónde te diriges, sin embargo tengo algunas observaciones con la intención de que se mejore la experiencia y hospitalidad del lugar: -Las habitaciones NO cuentan con clóset ni repisas para colgar/guardar tu ropa, lo cual puede ser un inconveniente. -Las habitaciones NO cuentan con televisor, esto puede o no ser un inconveniente dependiendo el motivo de tu visita. -Las habitaciones NO cuenta con plancha de ropa ni secador de cabello. -El área común donde se encuentran unas salas en el exterior se encontraba llena de tierra, se entiende que el lugar se encuentra en un valle y al aire libre, pero procurar mantener limpio o libre suciedad. -Cada habitación cuenta con una terraza, con muebles o sillas de exterior, se encontraban llenas de polvo. Entiendo que el lugar es nuevo, y realmente es bonito y cómodo, sin embargo este tipo de detalles pueden cambiar la experiencia del huésped.

I recently stayed at La Catrina, and overall, it was an okay experience. I booked the "premium cabin," the most expensive option, through Expedia in hopes of a premium stay. However, there were some drawbacks there’s only 2 options either a 1 bedroom or 2 bedroom there’s nothing from a premium,Traditional or whatever other options there is. I recommend you to book the cheaper option or book through the actual website. The service was decent, but the receptionist wasn't very helpful and didn't provide details about the hotel. When I inquired about the difference between the premium and grand cabins, I was told there was no distinction, which was disappointing. I had hoped for a proper kitchen to cook late at night, but the so-called "kitchen" only had a sink, mini fridge, and microwave. This fell short of my expectations. One notable issue was the presence of frogs and scorpions in the 24/7 pool area, and the lack of security or reception staff to address this concern. Housekeeping was also unavailable, so planning ahead was essential. Furthermore, the rooms lacked TVs, which was unexpected. On the positive side, the hotel is conveniently located near wineries like Frida and Mr. Tempo. In summary, La Catrina has potential, but there are several areas that need improvement, especially in communication, amenities, and pest control. Excelente servicio, amplias habitaciones, blancos limpios, cocineta y refrigerador muy bien, huele bien, muy buena atención, la refrigeración excelente. Camas comodas. Muy buenos espacios cercas a la piscina. Hacen falta camastros solo hay 2.

I was disappointed with my stay at Catrina. The pool water was very cloudy, the kitchenette was not equipped, the doors don’t properly lock, no towels in the pool area, and no trash bins. I kept asking for an iron, and was received the day before my departure. The management was not available 24/7. I would not recommend this hotel, too expensive for what you get.

Desde el momento en que llegamos, todo fue perfecto. El personal fue amable, atento y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. La habitación estaba impecable, muy cómoda y con todos los detalles cuidados. I had an amazing stay at these cabins! Everything was spotless and well-maintained, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Hicimos una reservación apenas un día antes. Al llegar, nos dijeron que el hotel había sobrevendido las habitaciones — una pésima gestión. Afortunadamente, llegamos temprano y teníamos coche, pero aun así fue muy poco profesional y pudo haber sido un desastre. Incluso había enviado un mensaje en la mañana preguntando sobre la hora de check-in, y aun así no se dieron cuenta de que tenían más huéspedes reservados de los que podían acomodar. Esto nos hizo perder una tarde muy valiosa, aunque por suerte lo solucionamos. Somos de la zona, pero Valle de Guadalupe recibe muchos turistas que no conocen el lugar o que no cuentan con transporte. Para ellos, este tipo de error sería extremadamente incómodo y estresante. Mejor reserven en otro lugar para estar seguros.

Cuando llegamos a la propiedad a hacer check in, no se encontraba la encargada, solo estaban unos trabajadores de un restaurante que están haciendo dentro del complejo, por lo que tuvo que salir a buscar a la encargada porque no lograba localizarla. Eso hizo la experiencia del check-in más tardada de lo habitual. Pagué al llegar pero no tenían cambio, así que me lo dieron al día siguiente que hice check-out. Este es el hospedaje que queda más cerca y a mejor precio de Casa Frida. Las recámaras están serparadas unas de otras como si fueran casas pero sin cocina completa. Todo totalmente limpio. Dos observaciones, el espacio del inodoro pequeño y poca presión del agua, sin embargo con todo lo que ofrece incluyendo el aroma de los jabones y shampoo además del espacio de las habitaciones compensa eso desde mi punto de vista. Le doy un 9/10 para llegar un lugar a donde dormir de forma cómoda y cerca de varios viñedos. La alberca no tuve oportunidad de meterme por el itinerario que teníamos. Recomendado

This hotel has everything you need to have an amazing stay at valle de Guadalupe. It’s in the valle, close to all the wineries. The place is safe, with a fence all around. A beautiful place to hang out next to the cabanas. The decor is the best part, every part of the interior was done beautifully. We arrived after 5 pm, it was getting dark. By the way it is not recomendable since the roads are curvy and there are some holes on it. The personal was waiting for us, very informative and kind. I would recommend this place to anybody who wants to stay in the valle in a super cute place for a great price. We got the two room one bathroom. More than enough room for the 3 of us.

We were there with our 2 teenage boys for 5 days Sun-Fri. The checking was bad we got to the resort and nobody was there to greet us. I had to go to the front of the property to let the guard know we needed to check in. After a few minutes of waiting Fabiola showed up and she said she was in charge of the whole property from checking us in to cleaning and everything we needed. She also mention that we would be the only guest at the property since no one was checking in until the weekend. We were exited to start our vacation so we asked Fabiola if we can get some towels for the pool and she said that they were being washed to use our towels from the room. So we did she left at 5pm and for the rest of the night we didn't see anyone else stop by until the next morning. The next morning we left early to go do our adventuring through out Valle but before leaving we asked Fabiola to please leave us towels since we use the ones from the room for the pool and we told her the propane tank was empty. We came back the beds weren't made the towels where left outside and Fabiola was no where to be seen. The next morning nobody was at the facility it turns out it was Fabiola's day off so we had no fresh towels no propane for the fire pit not pool towels nothing it was a total mess and it turns out more guest started to arrive so weren't the only one staying at the resort like she said. I will not be going back to this resort we weren't happy with our stay at all save your money it's not ok

Easy to find. Right off the main hwy. Overall the property was clean and quiet. The staff was kind and very attentive. We stayed there three days with no house keeping service to tidy up the room or take out the trash. It was a bonus to have a microwave and fridge. The pool was clean. I’d consider staying here again. A very minor issue was no hand soap.
