The property is a historical one which makes this boutique hotel quaint and charming. The alpacas add to that charm. The walk into town is downhill and wonderful. The walk back up is a bit of a hike up a steep hill but worth it. The staff are fantastic and kind, and always available to answer questions.

Beautiful hotel. The views in the photos are even more stunning in person. They set candles out on the terrace in the evening and we enjoyed tea overlooking the Cusco lights. The breakfast buffet was out of this world. You won’t go hungry here. The restaurant is lovely. There were fresh flowers in our room at all times and the decor was very nice. It felt luxurious. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They have 3 friendly alpachas (2 babies) that live at the hotel and roam the garden and terrace. Between the luxury, location and alpachas, amazing.

The property is as beautiful as you can see in the pictures. The hotel is charming with all the decoration and fresh flowers everywhere. It's lovely to see the Alpacas running around and the view for breakfast and dinner is magical. The staff is fantastic special mention for Tonny at breakfast and Sergio for dinner. I don't write reviews in general but you can feel that everybody at this place tries to do the best for you to have a fantastic time in Cusco. Thank you!

I had amazing stay in this beautiful historic hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I had wonderful meal for dinner and everything is fresh for breakfast. The view from the restaurant and from my room is amazing. The soundtrack of birds singing was just give some peace during my stay.

Gorgeous hotel. I especially loved the art throughout the hotel. Very cool modern art displayed with colonial art. The history of the property is fascinating. I felt lucky to experience the property. The alpacas are adorable and I never knew where they would appear next. They move them around the property throughout the day. The view is stunning from the restaurant. We only stayed one night. I think it's a great place to orient yourself to the city.

Beautiful setting and hotel and wonderfully helpful staff! The only disadvantages are that you’re a little removed from it all, but that’s also nice. Also, our room didn’t have a tv or fridge, which was fine, but we had had a long day and just wanted to have dinner (at the hotel restaurant, which was fantastic) and retire to some tv and a cold beer. Alas, life goes on. Overall, a great place!

Overall, the hotel was nice, having a beautiful colonial aesthetic. However, this extended itself to a lack of modern creature comforts, such as a refrigerator or TV in the room. The location, high atop the hill called San Cristóbal, is idyllic and quiet, removed from the center of the Historic District. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk down quite steep streets. We preferred taking a taxi back up.

We had one of the most amazing experience at the hotel. The staff were all very courteous and helpful. The property has an incredible view of Cusco! They had upgraded us and every process was personal. Their breakfast buffet was not only well sourced, it varied daily, with made-to-order eggs and locally sourced fruits and vegetables. Their dinner was awesome from appetizers to dessert. The room was very quiet and the property is adorned with fine art and sculpture. The shower was one of the best with proper water pressure. Fresh flowers next to the sink. Fresh water every night. Beautiful architecture. Modern amenities with old world charm. Internet worked well which was a must for us as we worked each night checking and sending emails. It was very quiet. You can ask the concierge to call a txi for you and ask what their estimated fee would be. It is walking distance to Sacsayhuaman. If you decide to walk instead of cabbing from the Plaza, the walk will definitely work off the calories. It is built on the first emperor of Inca, Manco Capac, and it is an absolute gem!

Everything is in US dollars? Why!? We are not in the US. As a Canadian this really irritated me. They should tell people this BEFORE they book. If I’m going to Peru, I expect to pay in Peruvian Soles. The only reason I can see for them doing this so they can charge more money (Lower denomination and harder to compare prices). I stayed in three other hotels here on my month-long trip (some other 4 & 5 stars) and they charged in Soles. I purposely came to Peru as I’m boycotting US travel - so to have to pay in USD is insulting. For example, $8 USD or 27 Soles for a beer, $18 Canadian with tip. Ridiculous prices. Cranking your prices does NOT make you a 5 star hotel. If you want to fill the hotel you have to provide reasonable amenities. The listing said “bathrobe and slippers” there were none. WiFi kept going out every half hour, sometimes for 30 mins or more. Doesn’t cost much to get a booster. No TV in the rooms which really is odd for a 4.5 star. Even 4 stars I stayed at in Cusco had a TV. Also no bar soap? The room was VERY cold, even with the extra blankets provided. It feels like the hotel is struggling and they are trying to save money by having the heating on a set limited schedule. When it goes on at 6 and you go to bed at 8, it’s still freezing. I had to wear my puffer coat in my room, and at dinner it was so cold. I’m Canadian FFS, and I was still freezing inside. There is only one place to stay when in Cusco. You have great view above the city & it only a 10 minute walk downhill. We usually got a taxi for 6-15 sols or $2-5. Nice breakfast & the front desk people are incredibly helpful. You are a little bit out of town so it quite after a long day. There is only one place to stay. My family and I had an amazing stay. The staff was extremely professional and took care of all our needs. During one of our events my mother in law had to go back to the hotel as she was feeling unwell and the staff took care of all her needs, this included checking in on her, getting her a heater as she was cold, giving her her own hot water heater and making sure she was okay as my wife and I were out of town for a few days on another tour. The hotel food rivals the best restaurants in the city, I found myself eating at the hotel more than I would have expected. I could keep going on about how amazing the hotel is but to keep this short, I would highly recommend this accommodation.
My family and I had an amazing stay. The staff was extremely professional and took care of all our needs. Staff was incredible! We were returning to Cusco after 7 days hiking and had lots of extra requests, including luggage transfer and pie delivery. The staff were so kind and accommodated all of our requests easily! Also, the best view in Cusco! I will always go back!

I would like to highly recommend Palacio Manco Capac for anyone visiting Cusco. I cannot emphasize how great they made our stay. From the service they provided to the great hospitality they delivered to us, every day was a truly wonderful experience for us. I want to specially thank Anthony(Tonny) for going above and beyond and making us feel at home. The whole staff was beyond amazing and if you want to have a carefree stay at one of the best hotels in Cusco I highly recommend staying at Palacio Manco Capac. Our stay was wonderful the property is beautiful with great views and a 10/10 service. Keep in mind that it's a 10 minute walk to the plaza mayor, but it's an uphill all the way up. You can always take an Uber for like $3 usd.

Overall, the hotel was nice, having a beautiful colonial aesthetic. However, this extended itself to a lack of modern creature comforts, such as a refrigerator or TV in the room. The location, high atop the hill called San Cristóbal, is idyllic and quiet, removed from the center of the Historic District. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk down quite steep streets. We preferred taking a taxi back up.

We had one of the most amazing experience at the hotel. The staff were all very courteous and helpful. The property has an incredible view of Cusco! They had upgraded us and every process was personal. Their breakfast buffet was not only well sourced, it varied daily, with made-to-order eggs and locally sourced fruits and vegetables. Their dinner was awesome from appetizers to dessert. The room was very quiet and the property is adorned with fine art and sculpture. The shower was one of the best with proper water pressure. Fresh flowers next to the sink. Fresh water every night. Beautiful architecture. Modern amenities with old world charm. Internet worked well which was a must for us as we worked each night checking and sending emails. It was very quiet. You can ask the concierge to call a txi for you and ask what their estimated fee would be. It is walking distance to Sacsayhuaman. If you decide to walk instead of cabbing from the Plaza, the walk will definitely work off the calories. It is built on the first emperor of Inca, Manco Capac, and it is an absolute gem!

This was an old restored classy property with amazing views overlooking Cusco. We were able to walk through some pretty and interesting areas in about 15 minutes on the way down to the level of the main plaza. It's somewhat of a hike back up but not bad if you've just had a heavy Peruvian meal lol

There is only one place to stay when in Cusco. You have great view above the city & it only a 10 minute walk downhill. We usually got a taxi for 6-15 sols or $2-5. Nice breakfast & the front desk people are incredibly helpful. You are a little bit out of town so it quite after a long day. There is only one place to stay. Beds are comfortable & the room was rather large with 2 sinks (his & hers). Black out shades to sleep in if you need it.

We stayed here for 3 nights, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Loved the views while having breakfast every morning. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The grounds here are so beautiful, with lamas and alpacas walking around. Absolutely fantastic and I would highly recommend it. We were able to walk down to the square within 10mins, be sure to ask for directions. There’s stairs that lead you directly to the square.

Beautiful hotel. The views in the photos are even more stunning in person. They set candles out on the terrace in the evening and we enjoyed tea overlooking the Cusco lights. The breakfast buffet was out of this world. You won’t go hungry here. The restaurant is lovely. There were fresh flowers in our room at all times and the decor was very nice. It felt luxurious. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They have 3 friendly alpachas (2 babies) that live at the hotel and roam the garden and terrace. Between the luxury, location and alpachas, amazing.

This place is beautiful. The fact it has Inkan history makes it even more interesting. The staff was top notch. Jhon and Jose continually went above and beyond to make sure my stay was perfect. I had both lunch and dinner in the restaurant, which has the most stellar view! The breakfast spread is better than the 2 other spots I stayed in Peru. It pretty much had anything I wanted, including fun fruits. This place is set atop a hill above an Observatory with the best views of the city and a great spot to watch the sunset. My absolute favorite part was the alpacas. They are SO cute!!! I would recommend this place 10/10.

I had a wonderful stay at the Palacio. The location is absolutely brilliant with easily the best views of any hotel or Airbnb in Cusco, period. Both the dining room and the breakfast room look out over the entire city and it's truly spectacular. The property itself is of a rustic style which is beautiful and its perfectly maintained and completely clean. Location-wise, it's a ~6-7 min walk from the Plaza del Armas and maybe 2 mins from Saqsaywaman. Overall fantastic stay and I will 100% percent be returning to this hotel and recommending it to everybody going there.
