Since my son now attends University of Guelph, I have needed to stay in Guelph overnight multiple times over the last year. I haven’t chosen the same place twice because each wasn’t quite what we were looking for. Norfolk Guest House is very well priced for what it offers. It is in a very good location, parking was easy (and free!) Breakfast was included (and made to order!) The host and house were both lovely! I have found my place in Guelph. Thanks!

This was the best decision I made for my 5 days trip to Guelph. Wi-Fi, parking and breakfast are included in this charming cozy house and what a great healthy breakfast everyday! I would recommend to anyone travelling to Guelph!

A beautiful century home with an upscale, yet cozy feel. My room was pleasant and quiet. The bed, bedding and pillows were all comfortable and quality. I appreciated the attention to detail and quality amenities. Janet was always helpful and easy to contact with any question. I would highly recommend this property.

We just stayed one night, the location is good, about 10 min walk to downtown. The guest house is an old building but not taking care nicely of outside building gardening, probably the summer just starting now, hope they can be put time to manage it. We had chosen the Turkey room, the room is very nice and comfort just a big small. They served breakfast, it's nice and by fresh cooking on your requested.

We were in Guelph for my daughter’s graduation and we took lovely photos in the gardens. Price was great and the host was friendly, efficient and helpful. Everything was easy and we hope to come again for a more leisurely stay!

Beautiful historic house with wonderful rooms. The yard is also quite wonderful. The staff are wonderful, however for breakfast tgere was only one person serving a large number people. Towels, glasses, silverware were not clean. Instant coffee with powdered creamer was also disappointing. I was a bit surprised to be offered two choices for breakfast. I didn't feel as though i had any alternatives. Showers were absolutely wonderful!

I had read reviews of the property and unfortunately there were both some good points as well as disappointments. We booked the Penthouse Suite and were surprised by how the bathroom looked and was maintained. There was a leaky sink and the bathroom shower hardware was damaged and missing. We also expected the extra queen bed, but it was not available upon our late arrival. Sadly, this was not clearly communicated on the Expedia app upon booking, but is on the BnB's website. Either way, be aware when booking to mention if that extra bedroom is needed when booking the Penthouse Suite-you have to request access to it. The positives were the bed and pillows were comfortable and soft and the property was quiet mid-week. Overall, it felt the room was dated and not what you would expect for the rate that was charged. The chef in the am was truly sweet and pleasant, but overall the value was not here unless you are interested in staying at a Bed and Breakfast for the historic feel. I would not have upgraded to the larger suite for the price.

The Turkish room is lovely. The bright colours made for a cheery stay, and thr linens and oleasure to cozy into. The bathroom is a couple stairs down, a unique and fun feature when choosing tobstay outside of big brand hotels. Exceptionally quiet was my favourite highlight

My stay was amazing! It started with an unexpected upgrade to the beautiful Queen Suite. Gorgeous room with stunning ceiling work, bed and bedding was luxurious and the bath…to die for! Breakfast was delicious. I truly loved it some much I didn’t want to leave in the morning. The owner was gracious, friendly, accommodating and truly makes the whole experience incredible.

Communication with hotel staff was poor. We never had any in-person communication. We had arranged for early check-in at an extra charge because we were attending an afternoon event nearby. Although we arrived an hour later than we had indicated due to traffic, our room was not ready. We asked for the $35 'early check in fee' to be removed and it was removed after speaking to the breakfast staff. In general the bed was comfortable. There was only one mug at the '24/7' coffee/tea service which we rinsed out to reuse in the morning. The breakfast was okay but we would have appreciated some fruit or toast served as well. Overall we were disappointed with the overall attention to detail and guest experience.

This a good B&B but not great. Lots of little things missing like no cleanex in the room so u need to use toilet paper, no coffee machine, glasses or water bottles in rooms, lack of info or instructions on how to get the continental breakfast and a whole list of fines if anything in the room is soiled. Pretty negative approach to renting out a room. Very little contact with the hostess of the facility until leaving.

Since my son now attends University of Guelph, I have needed to stay in Guelph overnight multiple times over the last year. I haven’t chosen the same place twice because each wasn’t quite what we were looking for. Norfolk Guest House is very well priced for what it offers. It is in a very good location, parking was easy (and free!) Breakfast was included (and made to order!) The host and house were both lovely! I have found my place in Guelph. Thanks!

We just stayed one night, the location is good, about 10 min walk to downtown. The guest house is an old building but not taking care nicely of outside building gardening, probably the summer just starting now, hope they can be put time to manage it. We had chosen the Turkey room, the room is very nice and comfort just a big small. They served breakfast, it's nice and by fresh cooking on your requested.

My stay was amazing! It started with an unexpected upgrade to the beautiful Queen Suite. Gorgeous room with stunning ceiling work, bed and bedding was luxurious and the bath…to die for! Breakfast was delicious. I truly loved it some much I didn’t want to leave in the morning. The owner was gracious, friendly, accommodating and truly makes the whole experience incredible.

Communication with hotel staff was poor. We never had any in-person communication. We had arranged for early check-in at an extra charge because we were attending an afternoon event nearby. Although we arrived an hour later than we had indicated due to traffic, our room was not ready. We asked for the $35 'early check in fee' to be removed and it was removed after speaking to the breakfast staff. In general the bed was comfortable. There was only one mug at the '24/7' coffee/tea service which we rinsed out to reuse in the morning. The breakfast was okay but we would have appreciated some fruit or toast served as well. Overall we were disappointed with the overall attention to detail and guest experience.

Beautiful historic house with wonderful rooms. The yard is also quite wonderful. The staff are wonderful, however for breakfast tgere was only one person serving a large number people. Towels, glasses, silverware were not clean. Instant coffee with powdered creamer was also disappointing. I was a bit surprised to be offered two choices for breakfast. I didn't feel as though i had any alternatives. Showers were absolutely wonderful!

Well appointed rooms, delicious breakfast and onsite parking. We spent a very comfortable 2 nights and were able to walk into the city centre for restaurants and coffee - good location. Would definitely stay again.
