Friendly & helpful staff. Hotel is an actual converted court house. Beautiful property with a pool and restaurant.

Great property to stay at for local wedding & convenient location. Breakfast was delicious & staff was great! Rooms were spacious & clean. Only downside is there is only costly valet parking available, but there is a safe lot down the street for a more affordable fee if needed. Very walkable area. Would recommend.

Great historical building converted to a hotel. A few blocks away from all the downtown activities and attractions so be prepared to walk. No parking at the property and only valet which takes time to get your car as the lot is a few blocks away.

Absolute scam. Expedia should be held responsible for promoting this as well. They advertise the price to be 150 you get there and they charge you an additional $40 for valet parking. There’s no other parking and no charging for EV cars so you have to pay it. You can’t cancel because it’s no cancellations, then the air condition wasn’t working so they had to change rooms at 11 PM. now looking at the receipt. They charge an additional $25 a day destination fee whatever that means so in total. It is over 220 a night without taxes and fees complete scam and they slam you with these fees and hidden cost after you book it and don’t even tell you that you’ll be charged.

I wished it had its own property parking instead of just valet.

The place was good for the dollar value but more of a small boutique place. only one small restaurant. Staff was nice. Only thing about staying on the top floor was having to carry luggage up some steps. Construction across the street. Some homeless people close by made it a bit unsafe at night.

Great stay! Staff super friendly and room was clean enough to my OCD standard. Not having a garage is a negative but valet was very firendly and accommodating anyhow

Lovely hotel w v friendly service. Great bar and restaurant. Comfortable, clean rooms. Interesting place as it was an old courthouse building. Only downside was the parking. Parking was expensive and valet parking was not on-site. Car was taken to an open lot.

Extremely friendly staff and very clean! The hotel is so quaint with its historical pieces. The halls look just like the court house but the rooms are modern, spacious, and clean. The restaurant has amazing food, the bar has amazing drinks, and the cafe had amazing coffee! Overall 10/10

AC leaking water into carpet...Yuck. Only gave a nominal credit for the soggy, damp room. Given Accessible room without prior agreement. Inadequate lighting for reading in the room. Very nice historic building conversion.

Front desk and valet staff were excellent. Housekeeping didn't bother with us because we left after 11am on our first day--and we were disappointed with the size, quality, and quantity of the bath towels in our room. For what this hotel charges, it could provide more towels without us having to beg for them and they could be substantially bigger--having to dry off with a glorified hand-towel after my shower was not delightful. Cool quirky hotel in a great location but the linens and housekeeping quality and standards could use a little bit of work.

This is our second time staying here. Everyone of the staff members were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is always very clean and well maintained. The restaurant inside the hotel has great food.

The hotel staff were very patient and friendly! They answered my questions and were kind even when I forgot my room key card twice. The room was clean as they do a daily service and it is a comfortable room!

The hotel is built in the old Courthouse and furnished in the European style. It's well-appointed, and the rooms feature small footprints and extremely high ceilings. A little bit short of excellent, but it's been renovated and is in very good overall condition. The curtains and drapes were difficult to manipulate with the long rods. Strong recommend!

The room was a little musty and windows don't open. No coffee in the room.

Only down side was there wasn’t a coffee maker in the room. Sometimes you just want a cup of coffee before getting dressed to go down and get coffee. 😊

Loud AC unit in room. Upgraded room did not meet expectations. Valet parking thought they lost the key to our brand new truck but it turned out that they had left it in the vehicle over night. Finally I left clothes in the closet and called after checking out. I was given no information but told to go to a website to report. Tried reaching front desk a few times and was cut off and sent to a voicemail that was not connected. Very disappointed in this hotel.

They need to have a microwave in the room. Otherwise everything was great.

This was our second stay here and we again enjoyed the location and aesthetic of the property. The building is an old courthouse, so it's full of marble, terrazzo, wide hallways and high ceilings. My only issue was that they tried to put my Mom in a dark room on the ground floor which had just been painted, so it smelled of paint fumes. In addition, I had upgraded her to a corner room, so not sure why he selected the worst room in the building. Once she moved, she had a great room on the 4th floor. Both of our rooms were very quiet. They do charge a daily fee, which is mandatory $25. You can use the credit as you wish for food or drinks in the bar or restaurant, but beware, they charge $10 just to sit in the bar area. Overall, we enjoyed the hotel, it is impressive, albeit a bit pricey,

Small rooms. Pretty clean. Not a ton of amenities but nice.

We were intrigued to stay in this courthouse-turned-luxury hotel. Our corner room was super roomy with high ceilings and a nice view. We were especially pleased to have a mini fridge but we were disappointed without a coffee maker. Another missing feature: porterage of baggage. That is usually a telling amenity in a high-class hotel.

The property is a renovated courthouse so just being in the building is a unique experience. The room was very large, clean and quiet. Conveniently located near the operating courthouse and walkable to the water, museums, bars and restaurants.

Since we checked in with Gabriel we felt very welcomed. Great recommendations on where to go, friendliness and professionalism. The restaurant is very nice. Life music, great food. Very pet friendly. Nice and specious room, big swimming pool, nice area very close to river walk and the museum. I’d definitely come back

Where do I even start?! First, know that none of your hotels.com perks will be honored. No potential for an upgrade and they wanted to ignore the platinum free breakfast perk. As far as the actual stay? Woof, that’s a saga. We got back to our room around 1am after attending a concert. We immediately noticed the battery on the fire alarm was chirping every 90 seconds at an alarmingly loud and piercing volume. We alerted the front desk and they sent up a ‘security guard’ to check it out. This guy was all of 25, heard the chirp and called the desk back stating we needed a new room. Not an option. He comes back about 10 minutes later with a 5ft ladder to fix the problem. Mind you, he’s not much taller than myself (5’5) and the ceilings are about 15ft. He proceeds to ‘set up’ the ladder (I had to lock it in place for him) and attempts to climb the wrong side. I corrected him before he could hurt himself. He, visibly not a fan of ladders or heights, gets to the third step before he realizes this ladder isn’t big enough. He says there’s another ladder but it’s too big to move and says he’ll be back in touch. I took the time to close the ladder back up, as he’d clearly never operated one. Meanwhile, the front desk tells us they’re at 100% capacity and there’s one room that’s booked that they can’t give up until 2:30-3a. We ask for ear plugs, 1 set of earplugs were brought to the room not 2. Never got a call for a new room and wanted to fight a refund after no sleep. Stay away.

We arrived very late due to a delayed flight and were greeted warmly and quickly checked in so we could get to sleep. On the second night, our A/C wasn't keeping up and they promptly moved us to a new room and gave us complimentary breakfast for the inconvenience. The service throughout the hotel and its restaurant was wonderful. The original marble and reused courtroom desks/furniture were really neat. You also get free passes to the local art museum, which was a nice walk and morning excursion for our family. Comfortable beds, nice bath products. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Appreciated the smooth check-in process, but was disappointed when Mike didn’t offer the complimentary champagne upon arrival. While checking in, I mentioned our stay included breakfast, which Mike confirmed. However, he gave us incorrect breakfast vouchers. During breakfast, we presented the vouchers and were informed that they only covered a limited selection of juice or coffee. When we inquired, they confirmed that these were the wrong vouchers and provided us with the correct ones, explaining that we were entitled to one breakfast entrée from the main menu and a drink. We followed this process the next day and enjoyed being served by Jorge. However, on the following day, when we arrived, an older lady served us. Before we could even sit down, she asked if we wanted coffee or juice, despite me already holding a coffee cup. I felt rushed, so I informed her that we would look at the menu first. She seemed annoyed. Later, when she brought us water, I asked if the voucher covered lattes, cappuccinos, or other coffee drinks. She replied rudely that she wasn’t sure and hurried away, spilling water on the seat in the process. I’m not sure what caused her to behave that way. Perhaps it was an off day for her, but as guests, it was unpleasant to experience such behavior. Additionally, the exterior of the rooms and the building had a bad smell. Considering the price, I would not recommend this place. I believe the staff need further training on the services they offer.

when we arrived at 5:pm our room wasn't ready so we sat in the lobby waiting and then when our room was ready, a very nice gentleman at the desk said for your inconvenience we're going to give you 2 coupons for breakfast and a 2 drink coupons for later this evening. I thought that was quite lovely.

We enjoyed our quick one night stay in Downtown Tampa! The hotel is especially unique and has a lot of historical features. Our only complaint is the front desk staff was a little rude when we called from our room asking about room service. Other than that we would definitely stay here again! Great for a staycation.

Front desk agent BeeJay was incredible on every level. Valet was as well, all at almost midnight. The bar was great too. Highly recommend and will be back.

Great stay. Will stay again. Only two things i wish were different....1. I wish the door separating the restaurant area from the rooms actually locked. Theres a card key scanner but the door never locked leaving restaurant patrons access to the rooms. The area around the valet smelled of urine. Not sure how the facility could manage this as I know its due to some of the homeless individuals around the area. But again, it was clean, quiet, I felt safe...will stay again.

We had 2 rooms at the Le Meridien for two nights. Check in was efficient, friendly, and accommodating. All hotel staff were pleasant. We ate in the dining room both mornings. There are many breakfast items on the menu to choose from and were happy with our meals. The bar is outstanding, too. The location couldn't be more perfect with quick access to the River Walk, museums, and lots of restaurants. The fees can add up quickly, but this is true with most nicer hotels. We would return!

This hotel is very nice. It’s just missing a spa but other than that it’s location is excellent , 2 minutes walk to the Riverwalk.

Everyone we interfaced with was extremely friendly and helpful. The valets and the front desk personnel were very courteous. The food was delicious.

They have the worst food ever. No taste, cold soup, a lot o oil on food … just horrible. The staff is amazing but the food was terrible like microwave style. Also they over charge you if you book from Expedia they try to charge you again on your credit card a full stay. Hotel is clean, but do not eat there and do not give your credit card so you avoid a headache.

Interesting hotel because it was converted from an old courthouse. Overall stay was fine, but the hallways were super loud at night and we kept waking up with drunk people coming off of the elevators. Also, the breakfast was not good for the price. Room was clean and the staff were nice.
