It was clean and comfortable. There was lots of parking and I felt safe. Just wish they had a vanity/shelf around the sink to put all my toiletries on. But other than that, I would stay there again.

Researching hotels in this area, the main problem at this price point was cleanliness. This hotel was simply immaculate and very clean! The room seems modernized also. We stayed in #1. I read in reviews that #8 was also remodeled. I believe this hotel to be be the best for the price point and maybe best in the area. We will stay here again when I. Toledo!!! Simy delightful!. Only downside is don't expect more than a small snack for breakfast. They did have some boxes of cereal sitting there. But if you want a breakfast. You won't have it here.

I would not say this is a 5 star hotel by far. I asked for 4 towels and wash cloths for 4 people and they only put two in the room so i had to go to the office both days to get extra towels. The beds really didnt seem like queen maybe full. The shower curtain in room 17 had something brown all over the bottom of it. The people that run it didnt seem really friendly. I asked for a late check out as both days we didnt get there until 1230 in the morning and they refused. But for the money it was worth it and i would stay again.

Guy working the night check-in was super rude and crass, felt like an inconvenience. Checked into a room walked in and it smelled like cigarettes so walked IMMEDIATELY out and asked for a different room. Was accused of messing with the room. Was eventually and begrudgingly switched to a different room. Rooms were dated, dirty, and the location was kinda off the path and far from the highway. Drive farther, get a better room.

If you are nostalgic for the 1970’s motels of your childhood, the Budget Inn has you covered. This place is clean as a whistle, small rooms but quiet and really well maintained. Bathroom was spotless. It’s in an out of the way area just off the freeway and if you need a spot to sleep, this is it. The window ac was loud and there was no true blanket on the bed so bring your own. This is the 6th time my daughter has stayed at this place, our first, and we’d stay again if we are in the neighborhood.

Staff were courteous and efficient. Easy to get to. Two of the 3 chairs in the room were broken. Main complaint was the strong smell of cleaner - in the office it was unbearable and in the room it was unpleasant. Continental breakfast was small but serviceable. The only coffee was a teabag kind in the room that made about 2 cups, not 4. Bed and linens were comfortable. towels were really small. I am sure they would have given me more if I asked. Carpet was new, bathroom was sparkling clean. Nice new counter. Happy with the microwave and fridge.

This place is a perfect hidden gem for weary travelers! Nestled away on a dead end street makes it a quiet little retreat! Nick at the front desk was very friendly and accomodating. Clean bedding, room, and bathroom! Very cozy and I will definitely stay here again while passing through!

Horrible manager with unprofessional attitude. I called ahead to inform the manager that we arriving after midnight. He said “ no problem “. Arrived late at night and asked for two keys as I had reserved for two adults. He said “ No, you only get one”. Asked again, and he said “ you don’t need two ! Where are you going anyway” asked for late check out and he refused saying 11 am is check out. Terrible attitude. Room is dirty with mold on refrigerator door, dust on AC vent louvre which was blowing dust all over the bed below. Next morning, he walks to our room while my wife is taking a shower at 10:50 am. I told him she will be out in 5 minutes, he gave a stare like he’s going to murder me.

Excellent night’s sleep as we traveled from Maryland to Minnesota. Very clean, with the ac fan going it was very quiet. No frills but very comfortable. There wasn’t any breakfast but many budget hotels don’t offer much. We would definitely stay again

A little tricky to locate off the highway, and from the outside it does look very low budget! Inside the room we were surprised to find it immaculately clean, and a large comfy bed with plenty of space. It's a bit of a retro-vibe with some very old fashioned touches, which was fun! Don't rely on an actual breakfast, it's 2 choices of cereal with no milk and soda and pre-packaged donuts. There is a tiny coffee maker a fridge in the room and with the money you save - go to a restaurant to get a decent breakfast! We'd stay again and we were so pleased with the friendly front desk service and the super clean room!
