Stayed here to visit Muhlenberg College. Hotel is downtown close to school. Garage is hard to find. Hotel validates so cost is less but there’s still a charge. Long walk from garage to hotel though all Indoors. Hotel room has a very thin counter for a desk which was not comfortable for my husband and teen who were both trying g to do work. Nor was there a good desk lamp. The front desk suggested they try the library but it was overlooking the lobby so not really quiet and no desk height tables just coffee tables. My husband ended up using a table in the lounge leading into the restaurant to do work but there was loud elevator music playing overhead and people in and out of the restaurant constantly. Not really ideal. Didn’t love the barn door on The bathroom.

My sisters and I came for concert, our stay was wonderful. We didn’t know PPL Center was attached to hotel. Made it so so easy for us older gals. Would recommend highly.

The hotel is very clean and it was quiet after a rock concert. It seemed understaffed at the front desk. Available staff seemed uninformed and uninterested. The valets for parking were very friendly and helpful however, the street was very disorganized already at 5 pm. There was a concert, a charity event, and a business convention all booked on the same day. It seemed the available hotel staff couldn't handle it. The hotel restaurant, The Dime, was closed after the concert was over, by 10 pm on a Saturday night and the hotel does not offer room service, which left the option of uber eats for concert-goers. Ridiculous. We paid over $400 for the room for one night and couldn't even get something to eat at the hotel. There are only 2 elevators in the hotel and one of them was non-functional which caused a wait for elevators.

This was an average hotel with a premium price. The parking for the hotel was ridiculous...they should let guests know that parking in the lot requires a less than convenient walk to the hotel. Additionally, the bed was like sleeping on a stone...so hard. The hotel itself is nice enough, but for the price point, I expected much more.

The WiFi does not work anywhere in the hotel, the street outside is noisy as hell, the parking situation is awful and even worse if there’s an event. I would never stay here again, oh and massively overpriced.

We stayed at this property for a concert that was held in the PPL Center in downtown Allentown, PA. The valet service was very courteous and professional. It was nice being warmly greeted by the personel working the front desk. The location was key as the hotel has its own entrance straight into the PPL Center. There are plenty of food options right in the vicinity.

What was unique is that you have to use your key to have access to the lights, Tv and Thermostat in the room. The room was very nice but we found a pepperoni on the couch and we had a dirty towel in the mix of our clean ones. They did not have water in the lobby to access you had to pay $4 a bottle and it wasn’t a big bottle. We were a little confused with getting from the garage to the hotel- as they have two sets of elevators and takes you into the PPL center. Overall a decent hotel. We would stay again for the convenience.

Buffet wasn’t good. Food was lukewarm, waitress forgot to take our order for eggs/waffles, seemed a bit unorganized. Restaurant didn’t appear as clean as the rest of the property. Lots of crumbs by the windows that needed cleaned. Bacon excellent

The hotel was beautiful, however our room was located right next to doors leading to the elevators that would slam every time a guest would pass through them. It was disturbing to sleep because of that. The mattress was also not comfortable.

The hotel room was very spacious and updated.The hotel is in a convenient location. I would definately stay again. The only issues we had were with the valet location and service in the restaurant. The valet is on the street and at one point when we returned there was an event in the arena. There was no space to attempt to return the car to the valet and we had to drive in circles for a while until space was available. In addition, we ate breakfast in the hotel one morning and it took over 30 minutes (almost 45 minutes) to receive our food. There were only 3 parties in the restaurant at the time, it was not busy at all and we only ordered simple breakfast food.

The property itself is lovely, with the PPL center attached to it which is great if your going to a concert. But this makes parking a little crazy. If you’re not going to a concert, it can be loud, we heard the opening act in our bathroom on the 5th floor. Some areas around the hotel feel a little unsafe.

The front desk attendant on 2/24 was FANTASTIC!!! He gave us a list of restaurants for the town that we would be in that evening. Very helpful and EXTREMELY friendly!!!! The next morning; however, we were leaving for the airport and the woman at the front desk did not mention that the valet was not there. He was having car troubles and wasn't even on site yet. Had we not asked who knows how long they would have had us standing there waiting. It wasn't until after we asked where the valet was that they gave us the keys to our car and we had to go retrieve it ourselves.

We drove 3 hours to stay at the Rennaissance hotel for the Godsmack Concert only to be told upon our arrival that our room was canceled. Supposedly for a leak but how convenient that the Fordham Football team were able to get rooms. Carson Dodge, the manager was horrible he has no empathy for customers. I would not recommend this place at all to stay. We had our pet with us so to find another place to stay at such short notice was not feasible. We ended up having to drive another 3 hours home without seeing the concert which we lost $635 for our tickets we could not resell. If I could give a negative 0 rating for the front desk I would, they need to go to a training on how to treat customers.

Hotel is attached to the PPL Center which made everything very convenient. I believe the hotel was fully booked for the day but the staff was very courteous and helpful and the hotel was quiet and clean. Would definitely stay there again.

I had booked a king room but was given a 2 queen bed room without asking if that was ok. A king room was made available and we took it but it would have been nicer if we were made aware or this or offered the change without feeling like it was forced on us.

Beautiful hotel. Room was spacious and very clean. Front desk hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. Hotel right in the heart of downtown. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. On site restaurant Dime is high end, but worth the price. Would definitely recommend

The room was really great as was the hotel. The restaurant seemed quite lonely as maybe it was the off season. And like any hotels where there aren't many people at the restaurant, the service, while nice, was slow. I ordered an omelette that took forever. And also, not only was there no room service, no one answered the phone. But the rooms themselves and the hotel are really nice.

The staff at this hotel are top notch! From the time we checked in, until the time we checked out, everyone was friendly and helpful. The room decor is fun. The bed was not very comfortable (hard), nor were the pillows (very squishy and flat) or towels (scratchy). The staff were helpful in providing additional pillows and towels. We purchased breakfast at The Dime (in-hotel restaurant) when we made our reservation. The meal was not very good and we'd wished we'd gone elsewhere. Additionally, we ordered two drinks from the bar. Apparently, the bar is not staffed for weekend breakfasts, so our server had to run around to make the drinks himself, resulting in them being delivered about 20-30 minutes later, and right as we were finishing our food. This is unfair to guests and the restaurant wait staff (since our server needed to make drinks, other servers needed to jump in to help with ordering food items).

Connected to PPL arena - so convenient! Valet was friendly. The front desk made my son a balloon animal while we were checking in. Restaurant was great and the bartender Zack was super nice! Hotel was super clean and beautiful. Will definitely be back.
