Great property, is as is. The pub is fantastic for a feed and great environment too. Little bit of noise by patrons and locals but hard to control that when you’re staying at a hotel pub so no stars lost for it. Great spot.

The location is convenient and my room was spacious and well appointed, clean and comfortable. It's close to a main road and there is a lot of traffic but it wasn't too noisy. The biggest inconvenience was that this motel is attached to the hotel, and because I was staying on a Saturday night the hotel was very busy, the carpark was full (someone was parked in the "dedicated" carpark for my room), and the check-in process is that you go TO THE HOTEL BAR! In this day and age that is just absurd, when it's packed with punters, to have to line up there to check in. How about a key safe? How about a door code? Never mind it took me 10 minutes to find the check in because I didn't realise it was at the bar. Improvements to be made.

We arrived late Saturday afternoon. Reception was inside the adjacent pub, at the bar. Very noisy and crowded with the Saturday drinkers watching footy and all shouting to be heard over the din. Otherwise, the room was OK.

The room was very pleasant, nicely updated throughout and quite quiet considering its position. Loved the extras, coffee pod machine and bottled water. We would have liked notice that motel reception was the hotel bar.

Good stay for 1 night. Looked clean enough but bathroom had very strong urine smell. This was evident from first walk in & every time we entered. Matress was a little hard for me, but probably great for someone else. I thought price was a little high but it was comfortable enough & convenient. Check in was easy, staff very nice & helpful.

Every day of the week this gets 3 Stars for a 3 Star Hotel. I stayed here across Mon-Sat and it was average. It was extremely noisy with road noise and part of this was due to the gaps in the bathroom windows that didnt close. Plenty of roaches getting around in the bathroom and living area but were killed quickly with whatever is on the surface so I guess thats a good thing? Location is great in terms of close to shops. The beds were comfortable, the pillows nice, air con was fine as well. If I was in a pinch (which I was was this time) but otherwise I would not stay here again.

Initially when I checked in everything seemed fine - neat, tidy and renovated. When I left and came back in the evening there were 2 (maybe 3, unless I saw the same one in a different spot later) giant cockroaches in the room. It was a hot night, and the gap underneath the door was evidently too wide, as I watched them come in and out through the gap. I ended up having to stuff tissues there to create a seal. Also the room was a bit too dusty for me. If this hadn't occurred, I would've left a much higher rating.

Older style motel rooms which have been renovated. Modern toilet/bath and comfortable beds. Housekeeping staff always ensured we had enough towels and linen. The room had a microwave, fridge and coffee machine which we did not expect, but allowed us to have some meals in the room. Overall a comfortable stay with no real issues faced.

Room was quite a good size and the pillow top bed very comfortable. I thought he Motel was possibly near the lake but it wasn’t and no views. Our room looked out onto a back of street through window and onto Lakeview club hotel and bistro car park through the door.

Would be advantageous to have 2 armchairs if 2 people so as not to have to sit on bed to watch tv. A table is needed for breakfast use. Only one person can sit at high bench. Very traffic noisy.

Great spot next to the pub. The food and facilities at the Hotel were great. The Motel was clean, had modern bathroom facilities and a comfortable bed. The noise from the Main road that runs past is to be expected if you do your research, but it was noticeable inside the room, as was the noise from the patrons leaving the Hotel early hours of the morning. Keeping all that in mind, I’d stay again. Coffee machine was a nice added bonus!

Nice clean room, roomy bathroom however there is never enough rails to hang towels and no shelf to put toiletries on which is aliitle difficult when you travel with children. During our overnight stay we discovered no water through the middle of the night and it didn't come back on till 6:30 am which was very frustrating and made it uncomfortable when we needed the toilet or ever a drink of water. We were not advised at checkin about water outage, and when trying to find an after hours contact to report problem there wasn't any info in the room or on web page.

I stayed for two nights. The rooms are large, the bathroom modern and adequate, but the hot water takes a while to get through to the basin or shower, but once it does it is hot and plentiful. The rooms themselves are away from the main bar area which makes them quieter but I had an unfortunate stay as there was a domestic dispute between a couple two doors down which not only kept me up I felt quiet frightened. I ended up calling the police because you can't contact the main bar/office area as there are no phones in the rooms. I rang the main switch 7 times only to be put on an answering machine and in an emergency I think that is very poor. Staff are ambivalent to the problems which makes it quite maddening. If you get a room where the hot water comes through quickly, and there are no issues and you don't have to contact the main office area and you get some staff who care then the stay itself is ok. The bed was confortable

The room was great, but the booking was a problem because it charged an additional $100 for the fourth person in our room. I had two different bookings and it only charged that for one of the bookings. The hotel would not give me a refund but offered me $100 to use at the pub. Then when I tried to email about getting the $100 2 months before our booking, I did not receive a response at all. When we checked in, I told the lady about it and she said she would call me back right away but that never happened. Because it was over Christmas I never received the call, and when I tried to go see them they were closed. They only have one key per room so if your family isn’t together at all times, someone will be stuck waiting for the other family members to return. Honestly, the hotel was good, but the logistics and administrative side definitely need extra help

What was not to like? Not expensive. Wonderfully comfy King bed, renovated, great shower and walking distance to the Lakeview Hotel for dinner. The Hotel bar prices were amazing and dinner was great value. Road noise a little loud in the morning but would definitely stay here again. Excellent value.

Room had everything necessary, plus a good Smeg Lavazza Coffee machine. Main meals at the Pub were very good quailty and a wide variety of options, on a Public Holiday. Prawn Linguine really good;.and the Burger delicious. Dessert was disappointing- just. a small re-heated sticky date, served with icecream.

The room smelled of smoke. One of our meals was forgotten in the bistro. The bed was too soft. Good things: clean and convenient. Oh and no lake or view. Bitumen all around consisting of pub carpark. We were able to shut out road noise by closing windows but the result was no fresh air.
