Beautiful historical house, amazing grounds. We were a bit disappointed we didn't get to stay in the main house but in an annex.

Beautiful location to feel like you stepped into the past, very relaxing. Near a decent sized city with shops, restaurants, etc.. if you desire that. Close to ocean. Breakfast at hotel was excellent. It was very clean and staff was friendly. Would return and would recommend.

We had to wait very long at the reception desk when checking in. The hotel staff had big difficulties in sharing the dinner bill into two parts. We were 2 couples who wanted to share the bill as we had been eating and drinking differently. Apart from above we enjoyed the very good food and wines at dinner as well as the breakfast, which was super.

Great hotel in beautiful surroundings away from the city (but in the middle of nature and next to an interesting art museum). The hotel is set in its historic reference and gives you a great feel of a bygone area. The kitchen (for both breakfast and dinner) is very much up to date and is also highly recommended. All in all a great stay and we hope to come back in the future.
