Hotel Nafore

Overall, our stayed at Nafore Hotel was good. It’s recommendable.

The hotel is very difficult to find. We got in late and our driver went the wrong way several times and ended up dropping us off and saying the hotel was around this street he couldn't drive down. It was a very sketchy alley and I was not happy. He drove around to the hotel adjacent to Hotel Nafore to check up on us apologizing that he had no idea he needed to use that driveway. No heads up from the hotel. Ok not a great start. The hotel is dated, very dated. The lobby consistently had an odor... probably from the food from breakfast. The rooms are large especially coming from Japan. Close to trains and Myeongdong Street. If like us, it's just a place to rest and sleep then it's fine. Plenty of late night food about 5-10 min away. And many convenience stores around. I needed to but didn't do laundry. I went up at night to see if machines were open to discover they were in a room outside next to the rooftop area. It was locked but I didn't even bother to ask bc honestly it felt unsafe not a real reason why except dark area and out a door that needed to be propped open?? If I was alone I would have moved hotels. But it served its purpose and we had a great time exploring Seoul.
