If you’re going here for the description or the advertising- DONT! It is indeed very misleading this is not a high end retreat place , more like a dormitory/ hostel vibes. The promised 3 minutes walk beach you can’t bath in, rooms are outdated poorly lit and with stained walls. My 1st room was very worrisome as it had a door that didn’t open on my end and led to an adjacent room, I asked to be moved to 2nd floor bedroom due to associated safety concerns, they nicely did! Needless to say I’d left the next day and luckily relocated to better option and saved my vacation. Safety here was my top concern, the owners do live there however when they’re away the staff brings in people to hangout there adding to my concerns. The pool is so dirty I was skeptical of using. The staff do a decent job in welcoming clients and truly liked them, the restaurant side it’s ran really well and wish the rooms were treated the same way. There’s no entertainment as advertised, it it’s more like a once in a blue moon type of thing and not something the host offers regularly. I’m from the island , I am used to mosquitoes however for someone that’s not it might be an inconvenience. The property is on a dirt rd making it very hard to move around if you aren’t driving. Food at the restaurant it’s mid, and overall would not recommend. I wish them well because it is a beautiful concept that needs a lot of work and a bit more caring owners. The events should be parts of the everyday stay given the ads.

Fantastic small place, great service. Although is away from the main road and the beach, it is only a 10 minute walk to one of the nicest empty beach in the area. The contact with the owners and employees is key the facilitate everything. Good breakfast and beautiful garden with a natural lake.

Kibayo made me remember the times I use to stay in my grandparents country side in the Dominican Republic, Ramona was the best service and the young lady after Ramona I forgot her name . But Kibayo is a place to relax and if you want to experience the quitenes and nature and fun activities Kibayo is it. The owner tia I i believe was his name and macho were very nice too very heart warming.
