Buyer beware… there is no parking onsite and it is a valet only site. Overnight rate for one day is 80 dollars and 22 dollars for an hour. We did not expect this upon arrival. The only other parking is in a garage a few blocks away. Won’t be staying here again for this exact reason.

Hotel was great with a few minor comments. Housekeeping was erratic. One day we were gone most of the day, and when we came back at 4 pm, we had to ask to have our room made up. Another day they started knocking on our door for service at 8 am, ( the day we were checking out,) and knocked 2 more times before 10 am. One big complaint is the rooftop pool. It is a really cool bar and restaurant with GREAT service. However, they sell day passes to people not staying at the hotel, so there was no room or open chairs for us to enjoy the pool. Sucks for guests.

Hotel was clean and staff were friendly. Rooftop pool was on the smaller side, but the overall experience up there was very nice. Plenty of seating away from the pool if you just wanted to enjoy the view from the 20th floor.

There is not 24/7 room service. This was very disappointing, because that was one thing we specifically wanted. Also, the “electric vehicle charging” is only for Valet and cost over $60. Hotels.com needs to be more accurate.

The condition of the property was disappointing considering it was a Westin. Bed was very creaky, bathroom shower had a crack in the floor. Shower door broken so water leaked outside. Toilet was finicky to flush.

Not very clean for a highly regarded hotel. We found a bug in our bathroom. Bathrooms by the rooftop pool stank, dirty. Mattress not too comfortable. Booked if for the rooftop pool pictures we saw on the Internet but in person the size was an oversized hot tub. So lame . It is our fault we didn’t know that this hotel is more an adult stay and not very kid friendly. Scantily clad bathing suits showing big butts and almost naked. Needless to say we didn’t enjoy any amenities. Valet is $67 . I guess not shocking for Austin; but it wasn’t worth the money . The only good thing about it is it’s downtown and can walk to most restaurants .

My room had an excellent view. But the shower leaked water all over the floor. It wasn't caulked property, Im surprised it was undone this way. The toilet was very noisy.

Overall great location and hotel as expected but room quite disappointed. Gave list to front desk so hopefully they can improve... 1. Shower door didn't close so water kept coming out 2. No shower gel 3. Sink all clogged up 4. Shower wall full of hair Hopefully they can improve from here but not sure if we will be staying again here.

We had a very lack luster stay, I’m not the kind to usually comment. It just did not feel the level of clean I’m used to. It had stains on the sheets, the mattress was in gross condition. Shower didn’t feel clean. Toilet paper was bad quality. We had problems with the toilet the whole time and it took forever to get a plunger. Called 3 times and waited hours. It just felt cheap for a Westin. We didn’t make a stink we were only there for 3 nights. But it wasn’t that great, sorry Westin.

Not the quality I’d expect from a Westin but okay. For the price I was expecting the rooms to be a little nicer. There were some fine details of cleaning that were missed (spots on the walls in the bathroom, hair in the bed, fingerprints). The pillows and bed were not to my liking comfort wise. Good location, nice lobby. Cute rooftop pool but it’s a lot less grand than the pictures come off.

The beds were full of dog hair. My wife and Daughter is allergic to certain dogs and instantly got itchy and turn red and had to take a Benadryl. There was also a couple brown stains on the blanket and when we lifted up the blanket there was human hair too. The bed was nicely made but it seemed like they didn’t even change the sheets or blankets. The towels also had a smell to them. Front desk was nice enough to cancel our stay! When we was checking out we waited for an hour to get our car from the vallet as it was super busy.

As a travel agent I check hotels out for Orbits…, Your beds were not as heavenly as you say… hard as the RIu beds in Cancun…. Well not stay here again ….. going to the Fairmont tonight to see if they are better

The room was nice. The TV in my room though would go off & on while I was trying to watch movies. The shower door didn’t close properly and water would spill out on to the floor. Hotel was in walking distance to a lot of food options and bars. One of the waitresses (Sabrina) at Azul pool bar was a little rude towards the end. She didn’t like that my friends didn’t vote for her for some contest and stopped serving us after making a snark comment to me. Other than those few things, it was an ok time. -Steven

The only thing subpar that I can say about our stay is that the reservation was not showing up in their system, even though I had the Expedia confirmation number. It took us about 45 minutes to finally get the key to the last room they had. Westin did give us free breakfast passes to use the next morning as an apology for the room delay. Once we got to the room, my daughter had to do a video room tour. LOL. It was very spacious, and the view was great. It had all the comforts...big fluffy comforters, mini fridge, microwave, rain head shower, coffee maker, etc. We will definitely be staying here again!

I found my room to be very comfortable with a great bathroom and shower. The rooftop bar and pool were fun but was definitely a place for hot singles. The hotel is located right in front of South Congress which I know realized is a whole row of bars. So I was definitely in the middle of the party, lol! So if that is something you're looking for then this hotel is for you. I will note that my room was quiet given how close I was to the nightlife.

Very convenient to 6th street. Rooftop bar very nice, but not a full bar so drinks were limited. No microwave in room which was disappointing since I had brought leftovers with me. Restroom door didnt have a lock, only sliding door. Room was supposed to be soundproof, but I could still hear people talking in the hallway. Valet parking was $69 a night so I paid $140 for 2 days for parking. Overall nice hotel, but probably won't stay there again.

The two night ladies that worked the front desk on Friday, May 16th, were exceptional. Very friendly, helpful, and made our stay more enjoyable. One of their names was Lydia and I cannot remember the other ladies name but they were fantastic.

We went as a party of couples to celebrate my girlfriend‘s birthday. We ended up booking three rooms. One room was overcharged. The second room was not the room booked and given and our room the third, which should’ve been ready by 3 PM was not given to us till almost 8 o’clock in the evening. In the end, they apologized only gave us free valet for the time being no apologies no sincerity, and that the fact that they overbooked and made a complete human error on their end and we all left completely dissatisfied considering the amount of money we paid to stay there.

The front desk manager, Aaron, was so helpful and even though when we arrived to drop our bag off and everyone was checking out at noon and the lobby was super busy, he still gave us his upmost attention and was professional and amazing at his job, never flustered. He made us feel very special and valued. This hotel is soo lovely! The rooftop bar and pool are fabulous! All the staff we met were great and nothing was too much trouble. All kudos goes to Brennan in the bar, he had the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. 5 stars plus to him!! This hotel is wonderful, great location and walkable to bars, restaurants etc. They have happy hour 3pm to 6pm - £5 glass of wine, £5 draft beers! Plus other deals (can’t remember them all!) you won’t be disappointed!!

The Westin is in a great location...close to the Austin Convention Center and a block away from 6th Streeet. Tons of restaurants and night life nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful. My room was clean and met my expectations relative to the Westin brand.

I attended a conference in Austin. The hotel is centrally located and I only walked 3 blocks to the conference. I felt safe, the streets are semi-clean, but the hotel provided a great location for my stay. I would definitely stay there again!

The Westin is within easy walking distance to the Austin convention center. The room and lobby was clean and modern. There are hotel employees stationed at the entrance to the hotel. There are drop off zones for the various ride services in front of hotel. When I was there, multiple unhoused people were living and sleeping nearby on E. 5th and surrounding streets. I did not feel safe to walk alone in the area after dark.

This hotel is very nice and the beds are so comfortable. The lobby staff is attentive and we appreciated the champagne upon arrival. The restaurant is good, although we wished that room service was available late night (it ends at 10pm or 11pm). We loved that the food trucks are right around the corner and open almost all day/night. The hotel location is great for getting to 6th street and it's an easy walk to the capitol building. All in all a good stay.

We had a great evening. The room was clean and comfortable, but we were woken up by two or three different parties coming in between 1-3 am and the breakfast was just ok. There were really limited options for dairy-free, light and kids.

I have stayed at Westins for 20 years - all are among the best, most consistent experiences that you'll find. Not this one. Restaurant is closed for renovations; temporary lobby bar with drinks that were ridiculously expensive. I will say that the people who work there, particularly the valets, were extraordinarily nice. I would not stay there again (and I love Westin Hotels).

Nice hotel within walking distance to restaurants. Parking at the hotel was very expensive, so we opted for one of the public garages a block or so away for about half the price. There is no porte cochere or entry signage at the hotel, so where to park and go during check-in was confusing. We opted for breakfast at the hotel's restaurant for an extra fee. Service and food was good. Hotel room was comfortable and quiet. Housekeeping service very good.
