Went to a concert at Aware Super Theatre and the location was 5 minutes away and light rail was even closer,Although it was a shared bathroom and kitchen we only needed a place to sleep and couldn’t have been happier

Did not realise no toilet and shower in the rooms and the entry with in the bar definately needed new carpet had that old beer smell as you walked in, was very off putting, but the room was nice.

Staff here is great. And there are pub, kitchen and dining room at the ground floor which are good to enjoy. But it’s a bit noisy when other guests open and close door which means the doors are not that soundproof. The overall is good.

Sweet older hotel in a great neighbourhood. One felt like a neighbour between neigbours, not as a tourist. We loved it. The only real down side was the small 2 story stairs that had to be climbed with suitcases. Not enough space to do it in a normal way.

Our stay at the hotel was nice. Staff were very friendly and one lady was even kind enough to show us where to park. Bed itself was very comfortable and the windows provided a nice view of the city. Only downside was there was some black mold in our ensuite and there is very little options for parking.

Very old heritage building obviously but rotten wooden window frames with whistling wind gaps, peeling paint on walls and ceilings with damp spots, dirty worn carpets and no heating at all made for a fairly poor grade stay for the money. Should have stayed at the Ibis for the same money.

This was a very good value for the price I thought. Location is good, although crossing the convention center at night is annoying for pedestrians since some of the doors are closed after dusk. The room was perfectly fine. Music noise was a problem but it stopped promptly by midnight when the bar closed. My bigger issue was with the bathrooms. First, shared bathrooms really need counter space because patrons have to bring their toiletries with them. But there's no place to put anything. Second, the toilet paper and bath soap, etc., were not always refilled, so bring your own or check before you commit. The bathrooms are cold in winter but the shower is nice and hot.

Everything was excellent except for the lack of air con. The evening was quite warm for March and sleeping was a little uncomfortable with just windows open and the fan on. I would still stay here again.

Lovely area and welcoming staff at the bar downstairs. Evenngot one free drink. The room upstairs is old matching the hotel. Not quite as nice as the pics suggest. I struggled with the convex bed. Stressful was the warning not to shower with the door open as the fire alarm would go off. Broken hand basin and no drinking glasses.

Omg ! No freaking air conditioning ! No bathroom in the room ! ( down the hall ). No staff on site other than bar staff. Horribly hot on top floor. No coffee maker. Basically a flop house. You’ll have to read every review to piece this together. We were miserable. Hot Australian summer and no fkg air.

Such a perfect location to be in the heart of Sydney CBD. They even decorated the bed with rose petals and a complimentary bottle of wine for our honeymoon when they didn’t have to. Lovely place and extremely friendly people. Highly recommend, thank you again 😊

I like the aesthetics of the place. It’s not often you get to stay above a bar. The washrooms and showers are shared. There’s no temperature control. You have to call ahead if you want to check in after 9pm. And the doors don’t close properly by themselves. Overall it’s a nice place if you go in with the right mindset, the area is beautiful, but it lacks the common niceties of a hotel.

위치는좋아요 그러나 가족여행으로는 적합하지않아요 펍이 아랫층에있어 시끄럽고 우리가갔은때 체크인도 오래걸렸고(식당에어 체크인하는데익당에손님이많아서 ) 방에갔을때는 청소중이어서 또다시기다렸어요~욕실도 공동욕실이고샤워장도 공동샤워장이었어요^혼자하는여행이면 모를까 추천하고싶지않아요
