Check-in sehr umständlich Pässe kopiert trotzdem musste alles nochmal per Hand an unbequemen Tisch ohne Licht ausgefüllt werden. Zimmer sauber, sehr laute Livemusik über Lautsprecher bis 20.30. Nicht mein Geschmack. Offensichlich nicht nur für mich, nie mehr als 4 Zuhörer. Badezimmer nur 1 Haken für Handtücher für 3 Personen. Wechselhandtuch mitgenommen nicht ersetzt. Frühstück sehr reichhaltig, dauert aber lange bis Buffet aufgefüllt wird, Personal überfordert. Ganzen Tag läuft ein kleines einsames Alpaka im Innenhof ohne Grünfläche, unnötig und nicht nach meinem Geschmack. Am letzten Abend kein Wasser und somit keine Toilette die ganze Nacht. Kann passieren aber es gab von der Rezeption keine Informationen von sich aus darüber. Auf Nachfrage drei kleine Flaschen Wasser zum Zähneputzen. Keine Entschuldigung keine Kompensation. Wir mussten ungeduscht und ungwaschen abreisen. Kann ja passieren, aber kein Wort dazu von der Rezeption ist schon sehr merkwürdig. Man hätte uns ja wenigstens einen Eimer Wasser aus dem Whirlpool für die Toilettenspülung geben können. Ach Whirlpool 10 Dollar ! pro Stunde pro Person, nein danke !

It was definitely our most wonderful experience in Peru. The free airport pick up service, friendly staff, live music show, clean and spacial room(they upgraded our room for free! What surprises me the most was the hot water bag hidden in our quilt. How thoughtful is that! 100/100 recommend especially considering the cheap price!! Would def come back next time.

The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast provided was nice, and the staff was helpful. My biggest complaint is that the room was NOT quiet. Even using white noise didn't cancel out all of the hallway and room next door noise, which was incredibly disruptive to our sleep. Fyi: you have to pay to use the hot tub

Loved Union Hotel! Great atmosphere, lots of activities happening in the courtyard and restaurant throughout the day eg cooking class, tasting meal, weaving, live music, feeding their pet llama. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was included and absolutely delicious with lots of options - eggs, pancakes and waffles cooked to order, juice bar, pastries, fresh fruit, chia pudding, desserts… great location too, within a few minutes walk to the historic center. Would stay again.

We loved all the amenities this hotel had.. onsite restaurant, classes, the live music every night, KiKi the alpaca was super cute. It’s also walking distance to markets and main square. The staff is amazing and super helpful. When we had to leave early for a tour, they packed a small snack bag. (Water, fruit, crackers, and some small candies). The restaurant has some yummy options. Their breakfast is great also.. they made pancakes, waffles, omelette, etc. upon request. We stayed one night (first floor) and came back after visiting Machu Picchu and stayed two nights. We liked the room on the second floor the best.. much roomier. My only observation is that it’s not a very quiet hotel. Most rooms look down on to the courtyard and staff can be heard starting their day early. So if you’re looking for rest and relaxation my suggestion is to request a quiet room. Also, on our first night, they turned off the water from 11p-4:07 to be exact. We were warned it would be off from 11p-3am so we expected it but they didn’t turn off our water on our second stay. Despite this I do recommend it due to the friendly staff and location.

Excellent service, room, ambiance and food. This was my favorite stay in Peru. Front desk was kind and since I had a 3 am pickup to rainbow mountain they gave me a snack bag. On other days their breakfast was amazing. I also had my laundry done and it was super cheap and quick. The nightly performances were great and seeing Kiki (in house alpaca) was cool. Also the bathtub is awesome and the heated flooring is amazing. Location wise you’re right across from San Pedro market and a couple of blocks from the main square. Highly recommend.

The room was very clean, and the staff were so helpful and kind. The breakfast was very good, and the atmosphere is so beautiful. We loved the outdoor area, as well as the alpaca, Kiki, that they have! Very lovely hotel.

Shower towels smelled like vomit, fortunately linens didn't. The property has very good potential but unfortunately there's a lot of noise during the night (2am, 4am, etc) because of people not being mindful and talking very loudly and rolling their luggage when getting to their room, etc. We stayed at 2 properties in Cusco and this one was $40 more than the other but we're not sure it was worth that extra cost. The location is fine but not the closest from Plaza Mayor (although still definitely walkable), but very close to San Pedro Market. On the more positive side, the common areas are wonderful and their breakfast was fabulous. The even had a baby alpaca on location! Many attentions are done such as chocolates on your bed upon arrival, bed sheets warming using hot water bags at the feet of the bed, etc. All in all we're on the fence about recommending this hotel in Cusco because of the noise and bad experience with smelly bath towels which grossed us out...

We stayed 2 nights at Union Hotel separated by a trip to Machu Picchu. The staff was kind enough to store our extra backpacks while we traveled and had them waiting for us in our new room upon return. We enjoyed drinking cocoa tea in the courtyard and listening to live music at night. Comfortable beds, very clean rooms. Great breakfast options. I would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay here, we only did one night before we went up to Aguas Calientes but the free cooking class with trout ceviche and the cocktail tutorial for their area drink Pisco Sour was a great touch. The live music in the courtyard was really good his name was Peter, the ladies who helped during the class were Carlota and Nilda, very sweet and informative. The only things I’d say negative was that our floor in our room was quiet dirty like hadn’t been mopped and there was no air so it got really hot at night. The tiny windows didn’t let much air in to cool it off so it was hard to sleep. Other than that it was a nice place for the cost and the staff was really sweet, plus they have an Alpacha Kiki who was only 3mo old and so cute!

There was a cute little sitting room with 24 hr tea to drink (for altitude help) and a very nice sitting area in the middle of the place that has a restaurant and live music every night. The staff was very helpful with all of our needs-we used the free shuttle from the airport (Must give 72 hour advance notice) and they called a taxi for us on our way out. They held our luggage while we went on an all day tour the day we checked out. Our family had a quadruple room with 4 twin beds-lots of room and the bathroom had very hot water!! We would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.

Location was good, staff were friendly, place was somewhat clean, the yard was cozy and had a good vibe..but our room was so small and it was next to the stairs, so every time someone used the stairs, we would hear a loud noise which woke us up multiple times.

Hotel is in a great location close to the Mercado and about 10-15 minute walk to plaza de armas and all the great eateries. Rooms are very nice, walk in closet, safe, they have a cute baby Alpaca name Enrique, tea available in lobby, and a restaurant on site (we didn’t try). They also gave us a slice of cake for our anniversary which was such a nice touch! What didn’t make it a perfect stay for us was the crazy thin walls, lack of consistent hot water, and okay breakfast. We were in 303 and it is part of a connected room, and you could hear EVERYTHING. The lady next door was coughing all hours of the night as well as the TV on loudly all night. Ask to not be placed in a connected room if you can! It was also very cold, no option for heater or even AC. Hot water for the shower was hit or miss. Breakfast was ok, omelette were mediocre but pancakes were delicious. Would stay here again

A very nice hotel with a good atmosphere and kind staff. The room was clean and had all the things it promised. A big plus is the free activities provided by the hotel. We got to meet the alpaca Kiki and learn about fibers from Veronica / Kiki’s mom and also attended a ceviche cooking demonstration. The only downside is that the room isn’t very soundproof, so we were disturbed by guests getting home late/ waking up early.
A very nice hotel with a good atmosphere and kind staff. The room was clean and had all the things it promised. A big plus is the free activities provided by the hotel. We got to meet the alpaca Kiki and learn about fibers from Veronica / Kiki’s mom and also attended a ceviche cooking demonstration. The only downside is that the room isn’t very soundproof, so we were disturbed by guests getting home late/ waking up early.

It was close to San Pedro Market and the main square and a good place to spend some days in Cusco. But the rooms were pretty cold at night . We did a trip outside of Cuzco so we had to leave the hotel very early. We have got a breakfirst box but it was really poor only 2 fruits, some sweets and a bit of crackers with water instead of a breakfirst buffet I exspected minimum a kind of a sandwich

Everything was great about the property. Only problem we had is that there is no ac and the room we had was too hot where you could not spend the day if u wanted to rest. I did here there is a refurb plan to fix the area I was in because others complained about the same issue

This is an FANTASTIC hotel! The staff is excellent, the rooms are spacious and spotless, and the location can't be beat. The ambiance created with the open courtyard and the wandering alpaca make it a truly unique experience. And the breakfast is delicious. I highly recommend Union Hotel.

This property was amazing! The room was spectacular with a very cool shower. We received a box of chocolates. The staff were great. Loved the courtyard with live music. The only downsides were the WiFi was poor in our room, and the traffic driving by was noisy.

The clearest thing I can say about the staff at this hotel is that they have it down. I arrived early, they handled the paperwork, grabbed my bags and sent me on my way with a promise to notify me if my room was available early. I returned to find my baggage in my room and a well thought out welcome gift waiting for me. Not just your usual candy but useful items we often forget, nail clippers, a comb, eye shades, toothbrush. The room is spacious and well laid out, the separate sitting area provides a nice change from fighting with my husband over who gets the single chair! There were even a couple of books available to make things homey I went into the courtyard to find an adorable little alpaca named Kiki who was roaming about looking for pets. Pretty awesome! I found out they had actually cooking and bartending class available. I learned to Make cerveche from the talented and forgiving chef, Frank, who only winced a little at my knive work. Juan translated for all of us and kept things flowing as the host . Shakira gave us a lesson in bartending by having us make a piso sour. She added a perfect touch with real flowers to decorate the drinks. Did I mention that there was no charge for these activities? On my final day, while chatting with the staff during breakfast that this trip was to celebrate our 40th anniversary they offered us mimosas. Later they brought up a nicely decorated "happy aniversary plate to our room.

Stayed two nights. When we arrived, there was no running water in the room, but shortly thereafter the problem was fixed. But on the morning of checking out, just as we were heading out to do the challenging inca trail, the hotel had no water. Not just hot water - NO WATER at all. Good location, terrible service. Airport transfer was initially offered, however we didn’t need it for our arrival. When requesting for our departure, we were told it was inbound only. The service desk representatives were not friendly either upon check in, or during check out, when very early in the morning (5am, not yet light out), we were told to move out the door. Thankfully our Uber driver was extremely punctual and up just in time.

This hotel was very nice very updated. It had heated floors in the room. The bed was heated and had a nice heated floor in the bathroom, which I thought was very nice. The bed was comfortable the food and the staff were very nice. The only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is because I was guaranteed a late checkout and when I went to go confirm that they told me I couldn’t stay late. They also had a very nice turn down service, which was a nice touch.

The Union Hotel was great! The hotel is one block away from San Pedro Market and San Pedro station as well as a 10 mins walk from the Plaza de Armas. Its a great place to be to in Cusco of you prefer to be a bit away from the hustle and bustle of the City. They also have a cute patio with events most days of the week. A plus is that you can order a car from the airport and back. The rooms are cute and spacious. The beds pretty standard but not over the top. I didn't know I needed a rainfall shower but that was a nice surprise. Anyway stay here! The staff, including Juan, Abelina, and Daniella, are nice and very accommodating whether English or Spanish speaking 💜

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The front desk rep Graziela was phenomenal and made us feel like family. The restaurant staff were also phenomenal and made us feel at home. Excellent hotel location close to one of the main mercados for all food and gift buying you will ever need so we will definitely stay there again.

Breakfast was very good as well, and it was easy to walk around Cusco to the Plaza de Armas and other museums, restaurants, etc. The staff was very helpful with recommendations and organizing a taxi when we left.

We really enjoyed our stay here for two nights in November. There was a cute little sitting room with 24 hr tea to drink (for altitude help) and a very nice sitting area in the middle of the place that has a restaurant and live music every night. The staff was very helpful with all of our needs-we used the free shuttle from the airport (Must give 72 hour advance notice) and they called a taxi for us on our way out. They held our luggage while we went on an all day tour the day we checked out. Our family had a quadruple room with 4 twin beds-lots of room and the bathroom had very hot water!! We would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.

Union Hotel Cusco is a delightful place, close to the heart of Cusco. It is built around an inner courtyard that provides a great place a relax and to listen to live music (in the evenings. Kiki, the incredibly cute 3 month old Alpaca rescue, hangs around in this courtyard and greets guests. We had breakfast at the hotel every morning and had dinner there one evening. Food was great. The staff are very responsive - out hot water was not so hot and they took care of it right away. I can't recommend this place enough

I loved this place! Our room was very nice, clean & comfortable. The restaurant was excellent, breakfast was amazing!! I have never had a breakfast with so many food items. We didn't feel like going out at night, so we played games and had dinner in their lounge area-it was a great time! Kiki the lama is the best! My husband did the Pisco Sour and Cerviche classes, he loved it.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was included and absolutely delicious with lots of options - eggs, pancakes and waffles cooked to order, juice bar, pastries, fresh fruit, chia pudding, desserts… great location too, within a few minutes walk to the historic center. Would stay again.

Hotel Union worked well for my family of 4 before and after our Salkantay Trek. The location is great, the on-site restaurant had great food too. We really enjoyed the included breakfast. Kiki the resident alpaca was fun to watch.

Unfortunately, this hotel was one of the biggest disappointments of our trip to Peru. The room was extremely small, much smaller than the photos suggested, with barely enough space for luggage. The bathroom was equally disappointing, with virtually no counter or sink space for toiletries, making it very inconvenient. The beds were also very uncomfortable. The mattresses sagged in the middle, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep after long days of sightseeing. Breakfast service was inconsistent. On multiple mornings, we had to get up ourselves to find utensils because none were provided at our table. On another morning, our breakfast was completely forgotten until we reminded the staff. What made us the most uncomfortable was being asked to sign a waiver at check-in stating that if anything disappeared from our room, it would be our responsibility and not the hotel's. Regardless of the intent, it was not a welcoming first impression and immediately raised concerns. While the building itself has charm and the location is convenient, the overall experience did not justify the price. Between the cramped room, uncomfortable beds, inconsistent breakfast service, and the liability waiver, I would not choose to stay here again.

The bathroom was equally disappointing, with virtually no counter or sink space for toiletries, making it very inconvenient. The beds were also very uncomfortable. The mattresses sagged in the middle, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep after long days of sightseeing. Breakfast service was inconsistent. On multiple mornings, we had to get up ourselves to find utensils because none were provided at our table. On another morning, our breakfast was completely forgotten until we reminded the staff. What made us the most uncomfortable was being asked to sign a waiver at check-in stating that if anything disappeared from our room, it would be our responsibility and not the hotel's. Regardless of the intent, it was not a welcoming first impression and immediately raised concerns. While the building itself has charm and the location is convenient, the overall experience did not justify the price. Between the cramped room, uncomfortable beds, inconsistent breakfast service, and the liability waiver, I would not choose to stay here again.

Staff was really friendly and helpful. Room had odd distributions and since we had a quadruple bed, the bathroom setting had no privacy. Also beds where hard for our liking. But overall the hotel was nice and breakfast was good.
