1st- A bag of trash sat outside the elevator for our floor for a day and a half. 2nd- Sadly the indoor pool was out of service, and that was the primary reason we chose this location. The Hilton location website nor Expedia made note of this during booking. One day was going to be devoted to lazing around the hotel and swimming. The Hilton refused to compensate us on our stay but Expedia made it right! 3rd- the staff was amazingly friendly. That alone made up for 1 and 2 to me with the Expedia comp. 4th- the room was not small child friendly. The bathroom was a sliding style door with no latch so my 2 year old kept wanting to know what was going on in there. Rooms are also not very sound dampening from hallway or each other. 5th- bed was EXTREMELY uncomfortable. Me and wife woke up every morning in pain. Must emphasize that the staff was great but hands were tied from policy.

Friends and I stayed overnight for a concert at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater. It was extremely easy to walk to the venue and parking options were great. We arrived a little early, but they were able to go ahead and get us checked in with no problems. Very quiet, comfortable and felt safe walking at night. Front desk staff was welcoming. Breakfast was really good and it was nice to receive complimentary bottles of water instead of charging.

This property is under remodel but not a word was said during reservation process The pool, laundry and gym were off limits. They say a complete kitchen..it is Not, dishwasher fell out of the wall when opened. The microwave would not allow you to set power levels no cooktop.

Got an email saying there would be no room service, even though it was1100 a night. Smelled smoke in the room,and even tbough they charged for parking,could not guarantee we would get a space,and had signs that they were not responsible for any damage. Elevator bell sounded like a horrow film. Otherwise it was ok. People were nice.

Good stay. Clean. Quiet. Working facilities. Dog walk area bags could be refilled and trash could be a little better cornered off. Breakfast was mostly good, but a few items missing at times. These are minor complaints I think though and overall good.

I live in town, but booked this room so my kids could have a winter Christmas getaway and go swimming because they LOVE to swim. I specifically chose this hotel because it’s the only one of few in my city that has an indoor heated pool. However, the pool water irritated my kids skin so they couldn’t enjoy it. They swam for about 30 minutes and then had to get out because their skin was itchy and burning. The front desk associate notified her manager of the issue. After a few minutes the General Manager comes out, doesn’t bother to greet me or introduce herself and jumps right in to telling me the maintenance man checks the pool levels every day and they’re fine and that the kids who used the pool after us had no complaints. She was unfriendly, showed no empathy, and offered no type of compensation towards our stay for the issue although coming to use the pool was the sole reason I booked the room. She completely disregarded Home2 Suites guarantee with regard to comfortable accommodations because my kids were very uncomfortable after that swim. To add insult to injury, the heat was not working when my husband and I returned to our room with wet kids after leaving the pool. No maintenance person available until the next morning, so we had to pack everything up and move into the room next door. Horrible experience for my kids and even worse experience dealing with a General Manager with no hospitality. Won’t stay again or recommend, and plan on taking my complaint hirer up.

This was my second time, second chance at this property. Never again. The kitchen wasn’t equipped, no utensil. The cupboards were missing handles. The room service never replenished towels nor took the old dirty ones that I placed in the hall for 3 days. The breakfast lady was rude and check in had NO smile at all. There was updating going on and therefore the bathrooms(lobby) were closed and the pool was as well. I will not return here. I have photos to share as well.

This was an Amazing Property , was very nice and walkable to many dining options , bars , some shopping . Loved the kitchen and that it is pet friendly. Nice in door and outdoor areas also , I would definitely recommend this property !!!

Upon arrival 1130am garbage can full to the top ,floor had some debris....i worked hotels in nyc 5 stars hotel main important thing is cleanliness...keep the public area clean and spotless...yout pool was full of foam the sink in bathroom has dirt buildip around rim of sink use steamers for this and same for bathroom floor and shower use steamers periodically and this wouldnt happen popcorn on floor....and front desk took too long to accommodate guest waiting at front desk to be helped

Staff was super friendly and attentive. The actual room had dirty linen and we had ants popping up everywhere in our room ( on that 2nd floor). Shower curtain also had mold on it.

When we entered the room, we immediately noticed a large amount of crumbs and dirt on the floor—it was clear the carpets hadn’t been vacuumed in quite some time. The bathroom was in even worse condition, with personal hairs scattered across the floor, what appeared to be vomit stains on the walls, and grime built up in the corners. We reported the situation to the front desk, and to their credit, they promptly moved us to another room. Unfortunately, the second room—on the same floor—seemed to have been cleaned by the same housekeeper, as it also had dirty floors and an unclean bathroom. Thankfully, we were only staying for one night. We won’t be returning to this location.

Our room was very loud from outside road noise. The tile floors were cracked, the bathroom “barn door” was extremely hard to move. Beds were made with no mattress pad, just a sheet on the mattress, the mattress pad was made as a blanket.

Multiple light bulbs out, wallpaper falling down, drywall watch not finished and none of the usb ports worked. Was very loud cause walls was thin. Positive was mattress comply and shower had great pressure.

This was an Amazing Property , was very nice and walkable to many dining options , bars , some shopping . Loved the kitchen and that it is pet friendly. Nice in door and outdoor areas also , I would definitely recommend this property !!!

We have stayed here numerous times, but this will be the last time. There was an enormous oversight and/or negligence by the front desk. The person checking my husband and I in asked for my ID (which I provided) and proceeded to check my us into the hotel - but apparently I was checked in as the wrong person. Fast forward 35 minutes and another couple WALKS INTO OUR ROOM with an active keycard. The front desk tried to explain that it happened because the other person had the same name as me, but if you checked my ID and confirmed my information, how is that possible? At checkout, we notice that my bill had the wrong address on it - which means they still did not correct the oversight. Will never be staying here again. Cannot risk having someone else walk into my room, and the staff not taking responsibility for their negligence.

We got to our room and it had not been cleaned. The beds were messed up, there was garbage everywhere, dishes in the sink. I called the front desk he said they would give us a new room. We had to go back down to the lobby. We waited 25 min to get a new room. Then they charged me $50 more than what it said I would “pay at property”.

Went to check in at 6:30 and did not have any rooms available for the large group of people trying to check in with confirmed reservations. Waited for about 45 minutes and still no room so had to leave to go out to dinner with my suitcase in tow and not able to change or shower. When finally got back to the hotel they no longer had the room they had promised would be available when I left and got a room that I did not book instead. The staff was kind and helpful but the situation was horrible.

When I went to check out the desk lady refused to give me a print out of my bill which I NEEDED for it was a business trip. She said she couldn't and that the copy of the bill would have to come from Expedia! One desk clerk said I could get it and then the next morning I was denied a copy!!!!! What do you expec t me to do now?

Good location but the service was very poor. The receptionist was away from the property and we had to wait 25 minutes for him to arrive. Breakfast was fair but under supplied and poorly staffed. Out of orange juice. Had to wait for someone to checkout

Stay only had one hiccup when another guest was given access to our room in error. We were not given any compensation for this error and had to ask for a new key to our room when our keys were no longer active and we were promised new keys. Poor communication among the staff. The hotel is decent, I just feel that a stranger given access to your room is a pretty big no-no.

Love the location of this hotel. It's close to campus for our business trip, but not too crazy and kind of off to itself where it's quiet and peaceful. Will definitely stay here again when I'm in Tuscaloosa!

Check in was chaotic. Not enough toilet paper in the bathroom. Breakfast on Saturday morning was terrible. Little to no food available and the kitchen person was extremely rude! When asking the kitchen lady about food, she not nice and acted like putting any food out at all was a hassle. Ask the lady at the front desk about food, she said, “Sorry that ain’t my area.” I have never experienced such a bad experience at a Hilton.

The assistant General Manager, Amie Williams, is the best hotel manager that I've ever experienced, she is very attentive to the needs of patrons, she made me and my family feel welcome and valued from the beginning of our stay, to our departure, definitely a "high performer " in her field of work and expertise! Angel, the nice lady who was responsible for the breakfast accommodations, provided an exceptional meal every morning during our stay, good food, with a good variety, with good and hot coffee, along with other drinks that my family enjoyed!! The facilities were very well kept, clean and safe! The entire staff made our stay one of the best experiences I've had in years, we definitely will be returning!

The rooms were good but breakfast was very poor. The tables were not cleaned, the food not restocked and the first morning they stopped serving 30 minutes early. Lesson learned, we were earlier the next morning. The definitely needed more help.
