This hotel/ B&B was originally a boarding house for women.While our room was small we did have a small balcony. The public areas are spacious, love the wide hallways. Parking is available, with easy access. During our stay the car stayed in the lot as the area is very walkable.

Dolly was fantastic communicating about check in/check in codes. Super friendly the next morning when we met her at breakfast. Room was very clean, breakfast was outstanding. Cute snack bar in the lobby with fresh cookies, fruit, candy and granola bars available if you need a snack.

Lovely, quaint cottage takes you back to another era! Rooms and cottages located in a large Victorian house. Loaded with all necessities plus book library, large dvd collection and board games. Coffee, tea, water coolers and snacks available throughout hotel. Favorite part were jacuzzi and fireplace, guaranteed relaxation! We really appreciate being able to include our pup in our stay!!!

The entire place was amazing. You smelled freshly baked cookies all the time! And they tasted amazing. It was welcoming and lovely. I loved the digital entry. The bay windows and fireplace were perfect. Everything was clean and filled with thoughts of their guests. A place to store food after a farmers market purchase, only a 5-10 minute walk from the Hotel Napa Valley.

Always a good stay at Hotel Napa Valley! Runi is a wonderful host. The last few times we've stayed here we've stayed in Cottage #456. The only suggestions I have is that some maintenance needs to be done in those rooms with more attention to detail. For example, the bathroom in Rm 4 has a missing wall shelf with broken brackets still in the wall and should be repainted because there are different shades of green painted over each other on the walls; the toilet paper bracket needs replacing and the toilet sometimes doesn't flush so you have to take the tank top off and manually adjust the plug to flush the toilet.

The service and communications was very good. The check-in process instructions were clear, and the accommodation for our dog traveling with us was easy to set up. The room we booked was quite small, but that is fine. What was a little surprising were a number of small shortcomings that I did not expect given the price. The door to the bathroom could not open fully because the room was so small and the bed was so large that the door could not open fully. One of the nightstand lamps was inoperable, and in the bathroom it was unusual to have no shelf in the shower for our toiletries. Also one of the hooks for hanging the towel next to the shower for hanging any clothes was missing, leaving only one hook available for hanging one’s towel and hanging their clothes. The issue that was the biggest concern by was the thinness of the hotel room door; it was very easy to hear the other guests come and go. There were guests out in the common area in front of our room who were partying quite loudly after quiet hours began. At about 1:30 AM I had to go out and ask them to please quiet down, and they complied.

This was our second stay and we would still return to the property. Clean, cozy, felt safe, great inn keeper, good breakfast, convenient to downtown and to vineyards. The WiFi was not that great, but didn’t need it much on vacation. Thank you Dolly for your hospitality!

This place is a B&B not a 'hotel.' There is no checkin, or kets (just door codes)That said, it offered the basic comforts similar to staying in your Grandma's guest bedroom. The room is clean. The bed was comfy. Room was small. No sitting or 'walking around space' The bathroom was fine except the shower water pressure was not very good. The towels could also be improved. My rate was above $300 night too which is a little steep. That said: if on a short trip, this place is totally fine if other options are unavailable or priced much higher. The location is a side street just a few minute walk to the heart of town of Napa. Parking is free too which is a plus. There are pitchers of water in the common area with plastic cups. I'd prefer bottled water in the rooms or available to guest in the common area. Also, soft drinks and maybe a few snack items would not be bad either.

Room was a little outdated. Ceiling fan didnt work, nice bathtub but the jets ran from an external pump which was extremely loud, multiple light bulbs were out, there was only 1 electrical outlet in the living area, only standard cable for TV. There were no screens on the windows so couldn't leave them open. The bed was really comfortable though. The Inn Keeperwas helpful amd responsive, though nobstaff are on site.

The unit was not part of the main building, had stairs and an entryway. The room was really small, although the bathroom was huge. The floor was noisy. The breakfast in the main house was very nice.

Runie provided excellent customer service. Hotel is about 3 blocks from downtown Napa where there are many restaurants. If you’re on the first floor, you may encounter more noise from late comers and early risers since some people don’t follow the rules for quiet time between 10pm to 8am.

The property is a beautifully restored old home, and incredibly clean. The downsides were the wooden window blinds that let in a ton of light all night long. They need to add shades behind them. The other was the breakfast. The main courses were creative, but I don’t consider canned fruit and packaged-tasting muffins to be enough for the price of the rooms.

Virtual check-in process with a door code for both the home and my room. Nice bed, television, and decently sized bathroom. This hotel is great for people who will be out and about and just need a spot to station themselves and belongings. Breakfast though, a solid 10 out of 10!

I am celiac, so I had to go without breakfast and watch the others in our party enjoy their’s. No alternatives were offered to the waffles and sausage. So, while the accommodations were excellent, we would not stay here again. When you lose one, you lose all.
