We loved our stay at the Cabernet House, An Old World Inn! We actually stayed directly next door in the Merlot House in the Walk in the Clouds suite, and it was PERFECT for 3 people! The property has water, coffee and tea at all hours when needed, and breakfast every morning was phenomenal. The house was perfectly located a walking distance to downtown and the walk is so peaceful and enjoyable in that neighborhood. Amvic, the innneeper, was so accommodating, sweet, and answered all questions with ease and quickly. I highly recommend staying here! We definitely will every time we are back in Napa!

We stayed 3 nights at this B&B and loved it! The breakfast was delicious, the room cozy and inviting. The only thing was the parking. There are not enough parking spaces for each room so if we got in late we had to park outside on the street.

Fabulous 2 night getaway in a quiet location. We stayed in the cottage outback. It’s an easy drive or moderate walk to the Napa waterfront and our host was super nice. The breakfast was amazing!

The property is beautiful and the breakfast was wonderful. The staff were super helpful and friendly. We were only a few blocks from downtown Napa so the location was great, with on premises free parking. This was a great place to stay.

What a lovely gem we found on an unplanned trip to Napa! The Old World Inn is a clean and beautiful traditional B&B with welcoming hosts who kept us well informed and well fed! The homes were charming, the beds comfortable and the breakfast was outstanding and filling. Lovely grounds outside to sit and enjoy a glass of wine or cup of coffee. We did both! I look forward to visiting again.

The breakfast was excellent. The house was clean, safe, comfortable and well situated. We would have liked more dining options in walking distance. What we had was quite good and reasonable. The room was clean and comfortable but small and the tub/shower was tough to manipulate. The place and its people were very friendly and nice overall.

Disappointed with outdated room. Room deodorizer very strong ! Sheets felt itchy. Windows & curtains dirty & webs seen. Outdated decor that looks old & smelly. I emailed 1 week prior to arrival to request vegan option. The server gave a waffle with little fruit & horrible veggie sausage, while all other guests got more fruit, side of parfait & meat. She looked annoyed that I asked for dairy free creamer & told me I should have emailed. This was disappointing after we spent a lot to stay in private room. I did tell her I emailed, but she appeared annoyed with me. I stayed here years ago & had pleasant time. I won’t come back

The rooms were very old and dingy and had a musty smell. there was water leaking from the ceiling in the bathroom and dripping on to the floor. It was too late in the night when we checked in so we couldn’t change rooms. Hosts were very welcoming in the morning and breakfast was decent in the morning. I guess they would have changed our rooms if we had brought it up in the morning, but we were checking out anyways, so we let it go.

Cabarney House was great. It is an old building. The walls aren’t super thick and the stairs creek a bit. However, the service is impeccable. Checkin requires zero work and the breakfast is awesome. The bed was super comfortable. It has a stellar location. It is not fancy. It’s more of an authentic charming experience.

Quirky property. The jacuzzi in our room went off every night at midnight by itself very loud noise hard to turn off. The clawfoot tub in the bathroom was not made for bigger people, felt of kilter as you showered. Other than that it was a nice stay. Bed was pretty comfortable.

Stayed here for one night in the Bella Tuscany room, it was very clean and nice. There are 3 rooms located on the first floor on the house, Starry Night-Casablanca-Bella Tuscany, and just know they are very close to the kitchen. So you do hear all the foot traffic and noise from the kitchen around 7am as they prepare breakfast. Other than that, check in was easy, they send text instructions on how to enter the property which is super easy.

I was traveling with two other women and we stayed in the Harvest room. It was perfect! Very roomy, with two king beds. Breakfast was fabulous both times we ate. We were very happy with the price. I would absolutely recommend this place!

What a gem! The staff is warm and wonderful. The breakfast is fantastic (you walk in and you are served a plate of breakfast... There is no choice and there is no buffet, and it was really good). Check in is super easy and our room (Walk in the Clouds) was quirky and fun. It was actually a suite of two separate rooms, each with king sized beds, and a little game room between them. It would be great for traveling with family (as we did) or friends. I am recommending this place to everyone I know.

It was very cute and had a wonderful atmosphere. It’s an older building, so some of the amenities are also older (eg tiny sink but beautiful claw foot tub). Got check-in details via text, which made arrival very easy. Our room was directly off the dining room, which made privacy a little awkward. But it was quiet so I didn’t bother our sleep (there was a sound door we didn’t notice until the morning!) Breakfast was included and served to you, which was really nice. Coffee was yummy too! Overall a lovely stay. Would go back :)

Perfect for a couple’s quick getaway! Amvic was extremely helpful in making my husband’s birthday memorable. East check in/out, clean and comfortable rooms, delightful breakfast, and serene, relaxing stay made our quick Napa wine tasting birthday trip totally worth it! Will certainly come back!

Very nice host. We had to leave at 5 am. When we were ready to leave, we heard the host preparing us cafe although we didn’t expect breakfast at that early, she gave us muffins and fruits to take with us. Nice location also.

The hotel was lovely and had a real charm to it, the room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. We had a bit of an issue checking in because we were given the wrong code to our room for self check-in, but all was rectified quickly. Breakfast was delicious, even if service wasn’t quite as warm and friendly as expected. Would stay again.

Unfortunately, my experience at this bed and breakfast was impacted by the host's unfriendly demeanor. From the moment we arrived, We felt more like an inconvenience than a guest. There was minimal warmth or hospitality from the woman who is apparently the wife of the chef ( couple owns the B&B) , which is especially disappointing in a setting where personal interaction is a key part of the experience. The husband was nice to us, the food was actually lovely , the accommodations themselves were adequate, (they dont mention that half of the B&B is another next door house, so my friends room had a basement feel) but the lack of welcoming atmosphere made the stay uncomfortable, with every interaction. I hope the host considers the importance of creating a more inviting environment for future guests.

We were attending a concert at the Uptown Theater in Napa, and were looking for reasonably priced accommodations within walking distance of the theater. We were pleasantly surprised with the Old World Inn. This century old Victorian mansion offers several rooms, each with its own personality. The owners successfully work to maintain the old world charm in rooms rehabbed to provide modern conveniences. Our room was clean, with a comfortable bed. The living and dining rooms were furnished with 19th century furniture, which was comfortably arranged to encourage relaxation and socializing with other guests. The morning breakfast, included in the room cost, was nourishing and good. It was much better than standard motel fare.

What a charming b&b in the heart of downtown Napa! We loved our stay in the harvest suite and hope to return! The owners serve a great complimentary breakfast - unfortunately we did not have time to sit and eat in the delightful dining room, so they quickly whipped up to go boxes. I couldn’t believe how good the eggs were! Thank you!!

My girlfriends and I went for an overnight trip to Napa. We found the innkeeper, Amvic, very hospitable and saw to our every need! The room we stayed in, Crush Pad, in the Merlot House exceeded our expectations in terms of value and cleanliness -- it was well laid out and perfect for the three of us. The beds were very comfortable and we all had a restful sleep! Location was excellent! It was far enough away from the bustle of downtown on a Saturday night, yet merely minutes by foot to all the activity! Seriously, downtown was a 6-minute walk, if that, where we enjoyed shopping, wine tastings, and dinner. Breakfast in the morning was superb! It hit all the notes! We had fluffy waffles with fruit, yogurt and granola, eggs and sausages. All very tasty and satisfying. Highly recommend!

I have stayed here probably a dozen times and unfortunately am past due for leaving a review. This is a hidden gem in the heart of downtown Napa walkable to the 1st street restaurants. Every room is unique and quaint, quiet and comfortable. Amvic is a great host and always helpful. The breakfasts are very delicious and different each day. Not the basic continental breakfasts, but actual cooked breakfasts complete with juice and French press coffee on request. Parking is easy and the property is easy to find. When in Napa, I try to only stay here.
