We had a great time in the heart of Edgartown. I loved that they had beach chairs and towels for us. I would consider adding a shuttle from the ferry to guests. Overall, we had a great time.

We had a wonderful stay at The Christopher! The property is so charming! It was wonderful to walk out and either take a walk down to a beautiful residential area or head to Main St for shopping and dining! We especially enjoyed the round the clock coffee and tea, the afternoon delicious cookies and the bountiful breakfast with many healthy options! The staff was extremely accommodating and pleasant! We will definitely stay here again!

Superb accommodation in a renovated heritage building. Tastefully furnished. Nice breakfast with vegetarian options. This hotel has many steps so it is not suitable for those with mobility issues. My bed was too soft for my liking as I prefer a firm mattress. That is the only thing I would change. They provide free home-baked cookies every afternoon.

The Christopher was everything you would expect an elegant inn on Martha's Vineyard to be. Our room was spacious with two balconies on two sides with french doors leading to both. The breakfast items were a delight, as were the cookies in the afternoon. Coffee and tea, plus filtered water were available all day and night. The staff was courteous and attentive, helping with travel arrangements and dining options.

The Christopher is located in the center of town within walking distance to everything. It’s near the bike path to the beach and not far from morning glory farm which we enjoyed. The Christopher staff are super friendly and attentive. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived. Each morning we enjoyed the self serve breakfast bar with banana bread from morning glory farm, overnight oats, muffins, granola, juice and coffee. We appreciated the free insight parking and a bike storage area on site as well. The inn has charm and is beautifully decorated. We would highly recommend staying here and would come back again

The Christopher was wonderful. Clean, quiet, beautifully decorated, and a superb location. I loved being so close to all the great shops and restaurants. Alison and staff were so helpful and accommodating and the check in/check out process was super simple. My only regret is that I wish I had stayed longer! I am so looking forward to my next visit

We loved our stay at the Christopher! The hotel was very clean, the assistant manager Helen was lovely and very knowledgeable of the area, and the location in the heart of Edgartown was perfect! Oh, and I can’t forget the delicious breakfast and home made cookies that were put out every afternoon! We will definitely be back!

The staff and stay itself were wonderful. Had a minor hiccup when checking in (my fault, not theirs) and it was handled very professionally. They had very good morning breakfasts too. Why the not perfect rating? It was obvious the floors were not cleaned prior to our stay. Walking into the bathroom barefoot (after taking off socks) the bath mat would be covered with dirty foot marks. We dealt with it and didn't complain - wish we had but surprised the staff didn't recognize the problem when they did a cleaning mid-stay. Would stay again, but would ask them to ensure the floors are clean.

The staff here are amazing - So friendly and accommodating. Even stopped us on the street (having recognized us) to say hello. Added to the friendliness of the town of Edgartown! The location is unbeatable - Walk to beach, restaurants, shops. The only problem was that the room was very humid (resulting in my clothes actually feeling wet) but to be fair, we did not bring this to the attention of the staff / ask for help. Had we, I hope something could have been done :)

The breakfasts were really great! Fresh homemade scones & other pastries. The staff was so friendly & helpful! Our room was spacious, well decorated and clean! The location was ideal; quiet & close to everything. Just a few negatives, we had trouble with the temperature, it was very cold. We told one of the staff who tried to change it for us, but we didn’t see a difference. There was a slight smell that might have been coming from the cabinet underneath the sink. Otherwise, everything was great! The two staff members I particularly liked & were helpful were Hugh & Ellen.

Great location, gorgeous building and rooms were very pretty. Had issues closing the bathroom door because it kept getting stuck in the frame which makes sense in an old house but wish it was something that was taken care of. Service at front desk was lukewarm and not very welcoming.

This was a lovely bed in breakfast situated just off the Main Street in Edgartown. It’s and easy walk to dinning, shopping and bars. The hotel is beautiful decorated and the staff is delightful and accommodating. Our room on the top floor had great views, including a glimpse of the water. It’s close to everything while still being a peaceful, potentially romantic retreat.

The hostesses were wonderful, great at providing information about local attractions and super friendly. The breakfast was all locally sourced, fresh, and delicious. Head and shoulders above your typical generic hotel continental fare. The homemade preserves were to die for. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Great location, gorgeous building and rooms were very pretty. Had issues closing the bathroom door because it kept getting stuck in the frame which makes sense in an old house but wish it was something that was taken care of. Service at front desk was lukewarm and not very welcoming.

The Christopher is located in the center of town within walking distance to everything. It’s near the bike path to the beach and not far from morning glory farm which we enjoyed. The Christopher staff are super friendly and attentive. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived. Each morning we enjoyed the self serve breakfast bar with banana bread from morning glory farm, overnight oats, muffins, granola, juice and coffee. We appreciated the free insight parking and a bike storage area on site as well. The inn has charm and is beautifully decorated. We would highly recommend staying here and would come back again

Great location. Near shopping and restaurants. We brought our bikes so we were able to bike to a lot of areas on the island. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Nice breakfast. I would definitely stay here again. Outlet room was very spacious.

Excellent location, steps from the waterfront and all of the great shops and pubs in Edgartown. The hostesses were wonderful, great at providing information about local attractions and super friendly. The breakfast was all locally sourced, fresh, and delicious. Head and shoulders above your typical generic hotel continental fare. The homemade preserves were to die for. Cannot recommend highly enough!

We had a wonderful stay at The Christopher! The property is so charming! It was wonderful to walk out and either take a walk down to a beautiful residential area or head to Main St for shopping and dining! We especially enjoyed the round the clock coffee and tea, the afternoon delicious cookies and the bountiful breakfast with many healthy options! The staff was extremely accommodating and pleasant! We will definitely stay here again!

Absolutely loved our stay at the Christopher! Room was fantastic. I loved the beautiful windows and all the natural light! Water pressure in shower was unbelievable too. Cute patio out back. Ellen is lovely. I am really hard to please with hotels, and I can say I will be back! Adorable cozy and lovely Inn!

Bailey deserves accolades, she is courteous, kind, helpful & sincere. Just a few notes, the room appears much larger in the online photos. I know that it is an old property. Any King Room expects a couple, how about 2 chairs & 2 suitcase stands, I think this should be a hospitality industry standard. The Hotel & room are beautifully decorated in a spectacular pallet of bright but comfortable hues. The artwork soothes the soul as it piques the interest. Awesome decor!
