I booked a room there for 3 nights for a hockey tournament plus another room for my children joining me during the weekend. The room set up was alright, I had to call the front desk to help with the sofa bed due to malfunction. Lugging hockey bags up and down the stairs all weekend was ridiculous due to the elevators either down or 1 was only working and that one wasn’t even functioning properly. At one point Friday night there was people stuck in the elevators. The front staff people were great, but the running of your hotel and the expectation of cleanliness of my room was low. I paid too much for all the issues I ran into this weekend.

We were in town for 3 days and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and eager to lend a helping hand. The 3 mornings we were there, had 3 different breakfast change ups which were all fantastic and the variety of food items were great. Everything was hot and fresh. The pool was clean and nice however it was freezing and the floor/steps of the pool were VERY slippery. Quite a few people trying to walk in, slipped. The only upset and not even at that, was the one elevator was down for most of our stay and the wait times were a bit long. If we didnt have two little kids in tow and were on the 5th floor, we would have taken the stairs. But at times it was a 5+ minute wait. Otherwise all in all a great stay, and would stay again.

We like the location. Close to shopping yet quiet. The premises are super clean. Full hot breakfast with lots of variety. Also a well equipped fitness room open 24 hours.

Everything was so clean and tidy! The front staff was friendly, informative, and even went out of their way to get us cups, plastic utensils for our little celebration. We even use the pool! It was very clean. Great stay overall!

The stay was great! Rooms were very clean as well as washroom. The pool was nice. Kids spent a while in there. The pillows were not great and gave me a sore neck because they were so thin, however the mattress itself was quite comfortable. I would definetly stay again or recommend to a friend. Simply bring your own pillow.

Bathroom was not cleaned around the base of the toilet. Stained bath mat. Base of bed sounds like it’s about to fall apart every time I moved in bed…. Sounds like its broken and needs to be replaced. No creamers in the condiment for coffee in the rooms… only 1 packet of sugar and 1 packet of sugar substitute. Super small plastic laundry bag that hardly holds any clothes. Low water pressure with bathroom tap. Ran out of light roast coffee and didn’t see anyone overseeing the breakfast area to refill stations. Too much water softener in the water leaving hair greasy. Pool very slippery on stairs to get on as well as the bottom of the pool… not sure if this is also related to the water softener… very dangerous as we almost slipped coming into to the pool after stepping down from the last stair. I’ve stayed at this hotel a few years ago and it’s definitely gone down hill since then. Definitely not worth what they are charging per night. Increased prices and reduced services. They don’t clean rooms everyday anymore.

Everywhere was clean and smelled clean. The room is beautiful and the bathroom was the cleanest bathroom I’ve ever seen in a hotel. It’s a good place to stay!

I checked in, had a shower then realized there were no towels...called front desk and was told I'd HAVE TO go down to the lobby to pick them up....completely soaked from my shower without towels?! The breakfast buffet the next morning was empty - no hot food at 8am and no coffee. Told I'd need to wait...however I was on a schedule, and not able to wait for the buffet to be stocked. The floors of the elevator were covered in food debris and spilled liquids that people had to walk over and step through or kick to the side to bring suitcases in. This mess was not cleaned up during my entire stay. Asked for a receipt when checking out and was told the printer wasn't working so I was assured I would receive an email receipt that I never received, in addition to a huge billing error. Not happy. Will stick to IHG going forward.

After checking in, the bed in our room had crumbs in the sheets…housekeeping did strip the bed right away to rectify the problem but it was gross— it makes you wonder what else is not done properly, that we don’t see. The wooden bed frames are really loud/creaky when someone shifts around in the bed. The staff is always lovely… I think the hotel needs some updating/up grading. The rooms are a bit tired.

I had to leave at 3 am because the bed was so uncomfortable I couldn’t sleep. You could feel the springs in your body. Upon leaving I told the front desk why I was leaving and they didn’t care.

The rooms we had were spacious and clean. Everything was well kept. The breakfast was just ok but they never ran out of anything which was good. One of the elevators was slow or didn’t work while we were there. The pool was good but not very deep or big. This hotel is located near many restaurants and shopping. Overall a good stay and I would book again.

Two issues 1. There were bugs in the room. Complained about it but nothing happened. Travelled with 5 others and 3 of them also had the same issue with bugs. 2. I was charged twice for the same stay at the Timmins Hampton. Booked and paid through Expedia and paid $800 for 3 nights. After i checked out, my visa was billed again for the same stay but this time for $600. Tried to work this out with the hotel staff over a weeks times but so far have got no where. Next step is to go to corporate with this complaint. I seem to be caught in the middle of a dispute between the hotel and Expedia and I'm the one being impacted. No way to treat a customer. i didn't want to write this review but after a week of getting no-where I had no choice.

The accommodation was good and had no issues. Breakfast was a let down. Breakfast eggs cold, sausage very cheap quality and batter for waffles was sour. Labels for fruit but none in existence. Very substandard to what Hilton hotels typically offer

Amazing stay.👌 From the moment we got to the hotel we were greeted by two very friendly ladies and then checked out in the same fashion. We were very impressed. The pool was a great addition for my 6 year old. I also enjoyed the various equipment in the gym. To the gentlemen who handled the breakfast, BRAVO. Service was outstanding. I came to fill up my water bottle when you were just about to lock up the continental breakfast nook and rather than send me away, you let me right in and even showed me how to use the machine for a quicker refill to my giant Stanley. SUPER impressed with the choices also. Waffle bar??? Pardon me?!!! 🙌❤️ there were sausages, omelettes, bagels, baked beans, yogurt, fresh fruit, amongst many other items. All in all, a great stay.
